Having recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer, I was keen to get a 'second opinion' on both the diagnosis as presented by the findings of my MRI and biopsy, and the summary of options presented by my own NHS Trust in the west country. A (doctor) friend in London recommended I seek the expertise of Mr Gordon as a specialist in Urology. I provided Mr Gordon's secretary with all relevant medical details and scans from the MRI and biopsy and a video consultation was arranged within 48 hrs. Understandably the number of questions in my own mind grew in the days following my diagnosis, so I prepared a long question bank which ranged from general questions on each of the three main options through to more specific enquiries regarding my own personal circumstances including age and health and the potential impact of surgery and radiotherapy etc. Mr Gordon answered in clear yet easy to understand terms. No questions or concerns were left unanswered. The outcome of the consultation provided me with much clearer insight into the three main options and from that my chosen course of action was made much easier.

I received a very warm welcome from the receptionist and was seen exactly on my appointment time. Dr. Ratnavel was extremely friendly, engaging, and thorough in his explanation. He immediately identified the issue on my ankles and explained everything clearly and reassuringly and prescribed the right treatment. I also had some concerns about pigmentation on my face and on my tummy, but he reassured that there was nothing to worry about and explained what they were. The whole experience was smooth, quick, and very positive. Dr. Ratnavel has a genuinely welcoming and professional manner, and I left feeling completely at ease. I would highly recommend him to friends and family, and I would not hesitate to see him again in the future. I would also like to thank Professor Michael Rudenko, the allergy consultant, for referring me to Dr. Ratnavel. Overall, a wonderful experience with a fantastic team and environment.

I was scheduled for a laparoscopic bilateral cystectomy. My disappointment stems from a critical failure in communication immediately prior to surgery.Minutes before the procedure, and while already prepped, I was informed by an unfamiliar doctor—not my primary gynecologist —that a bilateral salpingectomy (fallopian tube removal) was being added to the plan. This major change, involving the removal of a reproductive organ, was sprung on me at the most vulnerable moment, leaving absolutely no time to process this significant loss or ensure fully informed consent. It felt as though my fallopian tubes were taken without my proper agreement. A change in procedure of this magnitude must be communicated well in advance, not moments before surgery.

Had Cataracts removed in July and then September the staff and Dr Jothi was excellent and couldn’t wish for any better care, follow up phone calls on the day after to check if all was ok such a great procedure on both occasions and no pain at all as everything was explained. The eye sight is now great with all the colours all being clear and now I just need reading glasses to see stuff up close ,have worn glasses for the past 60 years and find it funny not having to were glasses permanently. I would thourghly recommend KingsBridge and their staff as all was very kind and looked after your needs on every visit, One thing no pain .

No problems with the medical teatment. Not sure why I was sent an invoice for medications some days after the treatment. It would have been much easier to pay in the hospital on the day. The invoice doesn't say if you can pay by card by phone or on line. This is a basic service these days. The menu offered for kosher food was limited and most of the items marked as being available weren't. If you're going to offer this service then you need to make sure you have available what you are offering - this is the private wing and one is paying for additional levels of service - not provided here.

Mr Daniel Dowen

I was referred to Mr Dowen for total hip replacement surgery and I am so pleased I was. Mr Dowen is an excellent surgeon who I feel, goes that extra mile to ensure the outcome was the best it could be. The surgery was a total success and because I have other issues relating to my back and not connected to my hip surgery, Mr Dowen is keeping my file open to refer me to a spine consultant in the future, should I require further intervention. I cannot speak more highly of Mr Dowen and would not hesitate to recommend his first class skills. Thank you for giving me my life back.

I have seen Dr Bodiwala several times and on every occasion his professionalism , medical knowledge and wonderful way of talking to you gave me a feeling of total trust in my medical care . Even when the news was hard to hear the way it was explained to me and the time and manner in which treatments were discussed left me calm and positive about what would happen next but at the same time I had total transparency about my condition and what we needed to look out for . I really would not want to see anyone else , I know I’m in safe hands and the best care I could wish for

I would advise anyone to put their care in Mr Lewis' hands he is efficient, professional, highly skilled, very kind and understanding. He has a great sense of commitment before and after procedure, this shows especially in his after care, I have has private surgery before but I have never received a emailed letter written after the procedure, on the actual day of surgery, explaining how the surgery went and what was accompliced , this was followed by an in depth emailed letter recalling my follow up appointment. I would recommend Mr Tryston Lewis most highly.

My experience of surgery for a meniscus tear was excellent. Mr Flynn has a fantastic bed side manner. I felt I understood exactly what was going to happen, exactly what the pros and cons of surgery were and what the recovery period / experience was going to be. Mr Flynn was easy to talk to, answered all my questions in a simple straight forward manner that I could easily understand. Surgery went exactly as I was told it would and now 6 weeks post surgery the recovery has been better than expected. A thoroughly great experience.

The Doctor I saw for my Health Examination (Dr Munraj Gill) made the whole experience probably my best experience with a health care practitioner. He made everything completely comfortable whilst maintaining an efficient pace to get through all that needed to be done. I was in and out quicker than I anticipated but at the same time did not feel rushed. Thank you for this experience and restoring my faith back into the healthcare system. Mr Lee was recommended for my high myopic (-12) cataract surgeries. As suggested by Mr Lee, I opted for premium lens, Tecnis PureSee IOLs, with the hope the lens would provide enhanced vision. I am happy to report that after 46 years of wearing glasses I go about my day glasses free, only requiring reading glasses for very small text and dim light. Extremely happy with the result and would revisit Mr Lee again if deemed necessary (I have floaters in one eye).
