Dr. Darr is ultra-professional, incredibly friendly, and polite. From the moment the consultation began, I felt completely at ease and well-cared for. His initial diagnosis was spot on, demonstrating his deep expertise immediately. He asked all the right questions, ensuring a thorough understanding of my symptoms, and advised me clearly on the best course of action. What truly set Dr. Darr apart was his exceptional level of attention to detail and care. His knowledge in his specialism is, by far, the best I have come across. He even accurately diagnosed an issue with my septum that I was completely unaware of. This comprehensive approach highlights how well Dr. Darr knows his field. I left the consultation feeling very comfortable, cared for, and confident in the path forward. I am incredibly glad I had the opportunity to consult with Dr. Darr. My original appointment was with Mr Kamran Saha, as it was thought that I had a which Mr Saha confirmed it was not but rather a cyst. As this was not his expertise, he referred me to Miss Swan Kang who confirmed it was a cyst and arranged an excision. During the procedure Miss Kang noticed a second cyst next to the big one which she also removed and sent both off for biopsies. Amazingly 6 days later there are no visible signs of any incisions apart from some slight redness in the area. I am super happy with the results and grateful to Mr Saha for referring me to Miss Kang. I was also very impressed by Robyn for taking care of all the underlying preparations for both consultations and the minor op which took less than 2 days to complete!!! Kudos to Robyn for managing everything so swiftly and efficiently.

The overall experience was excellent. As an NHS patient I felt I waited too long which affected my mental health and mobility, this wait has impacted on my recovery. I would have waited even longer if I hadn’t gone to my GP and asked for my operation to be escalated. The whole process took six months of physio initial NHS xray took a further 5 months to see the consultant then a further 4 and a half months for op. This has been a nightmare. I am however extremely appreciative of my operation and the treatment I have received during my stay at Hoarders. Also on the discharge sheet I was given a number to call for worries and questions once I got home this number was however not answered and my answer phone message was not called back.

I just want to say that Una has been truly fantastic from the very first time I met her. She immediately made me feel comfortable and took the time to explain everything in detail so I understood exactly what kind of intervention was needed. Beyond her professional skill, she’s genuinely a wonderful person…. friendly, always able to make you laugh, and just a joy to be around. Honestly, she’s the best dentist I’ve ever had. Her work is always precise, she’s like laser-focused on the details and will go the extra mile to make sure you’re happy and satisfied. Plus, she has an incredibly gentle hand, so you hardly feel any discomfort at all. It makes the whole experience that much easier.

Mr Sherif examined me at the one stop breast clinic and Hemel Hempstead, reviewed results of the scans and explained next steps. I wish I had asked more questions about what he could see on the scans etc, as when I questioned the macmillan card he gave me and said I presumed that it was unknown until the results of the biopsy, he said from a clinical perspective he suspected cancer and in hindsight I would have liked to have I understood what it was that indicated that. Next time I will take a list of questions.

The staff were so kind and helped me to relax when I went for egg collection. The Embryo transfer was a beautiful moment and they ensured it was marked with a photo of the embryo being transferred and a hand written card. Unfortunately, our first transfer was unsuccessful but I know we are in safe hands for our next steps. The admin team in particular have been amazing - responsive, sensitive and friendly. Thank you to all of the staff that quietly encourage hope in a scary time

As always the Cleveland Clinic makes all medical situations as pleasant as possible …every question I had was answered completely and fully in “layman’s” terms.. Physio was explained and 2 weeks later I'm only using one stick for stairs etc and pottering about the house without sticks
