⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Care from Mr Isaac Ahmed – Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon I had my hip replaced in October 2025 and I cannot speak highly enough of Mr Isaac Ahmed. From my very first consultation through to the day I was discharged, the entire process was absolutely second to none. Mr Ahmed is without doubt one of the most approachable, empathetic, and genuinely caring surgeons I have ever encountered. Having undergone a variety of procedures with different consultants over the years, I can confidently say that his care truly stands out as five-star in every sense. The surgical team he worked with at The Spire were equally exceptional. Their professionalism was evident throughout, yet they also created such a calm and reassuring atmosphere. Even with plenty of laughter in the anaesthetist’s room, I felt completely at ease and confident that I was in the best possible hands. My recovery has been remarkable. I had no issues following surgery, was off sticks and crutches within three weeks, and by week seven I was moving freely with no pain at all. Thank you, Mr Ahmed, for an outstanding surgical experience and for giving me my mobility back. I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone considering hip replacement surgery.

My PSA had been creeping up for several years. By December 2024 it was 6.2 and a scan showed a tumour close to the edge of my prostate. Marc Laniado recommended a day case procedure (nanoknife) and I had this in January 2025. Twelve months later, in January 2026, my PSA is 0.3 and a scan shows no evidence of cancer. Marc is one of the most professional people I have met - everything is explained patiently and thoroughly, he is available at short notice to talk through any concerns/answer any questions, appointments are on time and his follow-up letters come the same day and clearly explain what he has done and the next steps. I would like to thank Marc Laniado and the highly efficient team he works with for the outstanding care I received - anyone of any age (I'm 82) concerned about their prostate would benefit from a​ consultation with him.

Dr Ryan treated me with a lot of respect, although my symptoms were not life threatening, he listened to me and took my complaints seriously. When I had the surgery under his supervision, the procedure and recovery process and next steps were explained to me very clearly. I knew exactly what the surgeons were doing to me and what the benefit and also risks of having the surgery was. On a personal level I really appreciated how comfortable he made me feel throughout the entire process. Also today when I had my post op check up (months after the surgery, later than ideal, but not his fault at all!) he remembered me and seemed genuinely invested in me as a person which isn't something I was expecting, given how many patients he must see! Could not fault the experience, secretary was wonderful and found me a last minute appointment within a couple of days when I stated I required an assessment urgently. Dr Bruce- Jones was very professional and listened carefully to all of my concerns, and I felt at ease explaining all of my worries. I required the assessment for a compensation claim for the Army and the clinical letter and over view he provided was very well detailed and was exactly what I required. He gave some structured treatment on how to manage my anxiety which I have listened to and am now in discussions with OpCourage and GP for extra support. Would reccomend his services.

I have chronic pain (left elbow, right wrist, and lower back) due to sports injuries and less-than-ideal posture from long working hours in finance. I first met Simon at the Canary Wharf clinic in 2018, and he has since become my go-to physio. Not only does he provide effective pain relief, he also helps me understand the root causes so I can manage the pain myself. I highly recommend him to anyone who works long hours and also trains hard at the gym. Went to see him first week of Jan 2026 becasue my wrist was a bit flared up last month, and he's as good as usual!

The only area for improvement is the check-in process - quite often there is a queue of people waiting at reception and the vehicle registration screen is separate to the check-in form, which isn't very efficient. The waiting area and exam rooms are clean and tidy, the staff is friendly and helpful. I prefer coming here despite it being a longer drive than my nearest private hospital because of the great experience I've had previously.
