From my initial appointment with Mr Hoo, I felt all my questions were answered and felt at ease, from the onset I knew I would choose Mr Hoo as my surgeon. I had done a lot of research for my procedure and felt reassured from my initial appointment. Pauline (Mr Hoo’s nurse) was also very informative and patient regarding any questions which I had. My surgery was booked and due to unforeseen circumstances had to rescheduled, Brenda in appointments was very helpful and offered me a cancellation slot which I was very thankful for. On the day of surgery, I was admitted into the admission pod and here all staff were attentive, I met with the anaesthetist and Mr Hoo and thereafter went to theatre. The theatre nurse and anaesthetist were so lovely, talked me through everything and I felt reassured. Thereafter, in the recovery ward, the nurse was excellent when asked about pain, I was immediately given pain meds which eased the pain and brought upstairs to a room which the excellent care continued. Mr Hoo came to see me and answer any further questions, truly 5* service from the onset. The hospital was spotless and attention to detail by all staff was exceptional.

I had a video consultation with Dr Kallis. In the previous months I had a abdominal ultrasound scan and a CT abdomen and pelvis dual phase scan which appeared to show conflicting results. Dr Kallis explained the purpose and limitations of such scans as the reason for such conflicts, which I found understandable and reassuring. He also outlined the appropriate tests to take to clarify any remaining issues. Dr Kallis was patient and clear in responding to any questions I had. The organisation of the video consultation was very efficiently handled by his Medical Secretary. I would certainly recommend Dr Kallis

Mr Dehne, has given me back my life. I needed a total knee replacement after suffering from an accident. He was very thorough in his explanations and examinations. He was extremely kind and thoughtful as I was extremely nervous about the surgery. He put me at ease and I trusted him implicitly. I’m so glad he was my surgeon, I might have to have my other knee done soon and there is only one man I want to have to do it. He is amazing. I’m totally indebted to him. I went to see Mr Shukla about an issue with my finger. He was really great and we have a date to get the issue sorted. However, he went over and beyond for me - I mentioned my shoulder issue and whilst I went for an x-ray on my finger he (just because he was interested) pulled out my previous shoulder x-ray and offered me a solution that no one else has mentioned in the several years I have been having problems. I am still blown away by him and so grateful that I now have an option to sort my other issue! Thank you Mr S, you are my Christmas hero!

Dr Karoshi was the first doctor to properly investigate my symptoms and confirm that my pain was real, diagnosing endometriosis, fibroids, and other underlying issues. Mr Moussa was kind, sensitive and explained / answered all questions and concerns. I had taken two 30mg CoCodamol before my appointment and had additional Entonox to help with pain during the procedure and biopsy - 9/10. The nursing staff were friendly, calm and reassuring throughout, which was greatly appreciated. Great team!

It’s a stressful experience having surgery so all the fact that everyone is so pleasant, professional, kind and thoughtful, makes all the difference. The facility is extremely welcoming, spotlessly clean and the fish tanks are a nice touch. Unfortunately the only criticism is the lack of parking.
