Professor Frampton 'de-roofed' a large cyst growing towards the back of my liver very skilfully, using a Robot to navigate past important internal structures, excess fat, & through adhesions from past operations I've had. This resulted in minimal operative consequence to my abdomen, & to me post-operatively - meaning I awoke from the general anaesthetic without the significant pain I recall from several past 'open surgery' type operations (I was then even able to eat sandwiches, enjoy a cup of cocoa, & walk to the bathroom, before 'sleeping it off'!) I was only in hospital for 48hrs & left with just a little discomfort (from bumps in the road on the journey home), and five small glue-covered external incisions from the Robot's arms across the front of my waistline, which healed quickly. My only instructions were No Lifting for first 6wks, and to take Paracetamol & occasionally DHCodeine for some understandable right-sided abdominal tenderness. That steadily tailed off along with v.mild discomfort when hicupping/sneezing, as I healed internally whilst taking things easily (& light exercise) at home over next 12-14 days. This operation transpired to be an amazingly positive experience for which I cannot thank & recommend Professor Frampton highly enough - not only for his surgical & Robotic expertise, but also his conscientious & professional assessment of my health pre & post surgery, his reassuring explanations & his most pleasant communication personally throughout (administratively aided by his excellent PA)!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Honestly blown away by this service I’m nearly 80 now, and I can’t even count how many doctor visits I’ve had in my life, but MyDoctor by Northern Health honestly left me a bit blown away. I wasn’t expecting much — you get used to being rushed through at my age — but I came off the call feeling like someone had finally taken the time to actually explain my own health to me. It felt different from the moment it started. No rushing, no talking over me, no making me feel like I was being dramatic. Just calm, proper care. I felt listened to in a way I haven’t in years. I actually felt like… well, like a person again, not someone they’re trying to hurry out the door. For the first time I understand what’s been setting things off, and what I need to do next time before it all gets too much. That alone is worth gold to me. I’ve been muddling along for years without this clarity. I’m honestly amazed. At my age you don’t expect to be surprised by much anymore, but this really did it. I’ll absolutely be using MyDoctor again — I wish I’d found it sooner.

I was struck by Dr Hawkes attention to detail. The sutures were so exquisite that after 5 months a fellow plastic surgeon from across the desk could not see I had any work done. One thing to note is the limit of surgery on the day, I was the only one that day to be operated on as Dr Hawkes will only operate on a maximum number of 'eyes' ...... It so happened that the surgeon in the next theatre did seven patients (yes seven!). I was also reassured that given the post procedure settlement (upper and lower) Dr Hawkes asked to see me after 6 months........ Needless to say after six months I could not be happier with the result on both eyes, age appropriate (as asked for) with exquisite detail and in the words of my granddaughter 'they are beautiful'.... I will leave you with an amusing anecdote.....on the morning of the operation I asked for Dr Hawkes to hold her arm out just for fun and you know what it did not flinch .... steady as a rock.... a great result from a lovely lady... thanks again Elizabeth....

I feel very fortunate to have had my chemotherapy and radiotherapy at GenesisCare Cambridge. The standard of care is excellent and everyone at the clinic is friendly and welcoming. While spotlessly clean with fantastic facilities the centre doesn't feel overly clinical. I really like the holistic approach to treatment at GenesisCare and particularly benefited from the exercise medicine clinic which took me from gym phobic to regular gym goer with huge benefits for my physical and emotional wellbeing. GenesisCare go above and beyond to make treatment less arduous, from providing really comprehensive support to prevent or mitigate unpleasant side effects to offering a complimentary taxi service to and from radiotherapy sessions. Another plus of GenesisCare is that the consultations are never rushed - there is always time for questions and I particularly appreciated my consultant taking time to talk me through the treatment options and providing really clear answers to all my questions.

I feel the signs to tell you where to go could be clearer my mobility is not good had quite a long walk to get inside the building. My ultrasound scan was carried out with such speed I felt it was rushed, I had to ask for white paper roll to protect my clothes from being wet from the gel ,while the scan was being carried out the nurse sat behind the consultant on his chair ! I feel she should have been at the bottom of the couch standing at my feet reassuring me & asking if I was comfortable.kingsbridge give “an excellent 1st class experience re procedures” I’m afraid in my appointment this was not the case , over the years i have had many experiences with ultrasound and this was the worst , i could not have been on the couch anymore than 4 or 5 minutes very disappointing.

I reached out to TCM after I was told that I had a very low AMH and AFC and that I would likely go through early menopause. This caused me a lot of stress as I had always had regular periods and had never considered that I may have fertility troubles. Prof Au talked me through my results and educated me on AMH as a poor predictor for menopause. He advised me that I would need further bloods to fully assess my fertility and I was able to request them from my GP. Following this he reviewed my bloods with me again, without charge, and advised me that everything was normal and I did not need to be seen at TCM. I am very grateful for all the help, support and education. Thank you!

Joshua explained to procedure, the importance of the follow on post surgery and also took the time to explain how to use the brace that I was required to use as part of my recovery. It was extremely kind of Joshua to also take the time to speak to my wife and explain the procedure, then updated her on how the operation went. He is excellent and both my wife (Joshua undertook a two full knee replacements) and I feel very fortunate to have Joshua as both our surgeon and specialist. To put this all into context I was referred to a specialist at another hospital, prior to Joshua, and four weeks later I've still not been contacted by them!
