I had my hysterectomy 2.5 weeks after my initial consultation. My bleeding was so heavy that between Mr Pakarian and his amazing PA Emily, they managed to squeeze me in before Christmas. I saw him on my 6 week follow up and he said it was all a success. He said the fibroid was still there and that my previous treatment had not been effective at all. And he wouldn’t have recommended it in the first place as the fibroid was so big. He has now rectified the mistake and even apologised for the previous consultants error. He kept me informed the whole way through my time with him in letters to me and my GP and has said I can contact him anytime if I have any problems. I had the operation at Goring Hall and my consultations at Montefoire. Goring Hall were amazing and looked after me so well. It was like I was in a hotel. I can’t speak hugely enough about the staff I have encountered on this journey. And I am hugely grateful and appreciative of all the help and care I received.

The reason being she thinks she is god you go in for one op and come out with something totally different to what you went in for and Pheonix health cover for her she and her associate lied and added things to my consent form after I signed. I am now left with a worse condition than what I had before I let her and her team anywhere near me and Pheonix have done nothing to help so I would like to say a big thankyou (not) to Miss Darrian and her team and Pheonix Health for the help I have never recieved.

Dr Paramothayan was the only Doctor in 18 months that listened to and considered my symptoms. She ran tests to be sure of all her thought processes and explained everything thoroughly at every step. Despite being sure of her findings she still referred me for a second opinion to make sure she hadn’t missed anything. I can’t thank Dr Paramothayan enough for her care and treatment throughout the year of me being under her care. I wish she was able to specialise in the entire body so that I could see her for other medical issues.

I really couldn't be happier or more grateful for the care I received from Dr Boshnaq. From the first consultation, he explained the procedure (laproscopic cholecystectomy) clearly and had plenty of time and patience to answer any questions. The procedure itself went completely smoothly and Dr Boshnaq has a very calm bedside manner. So pleased that I was able to have treatment with him at the Spencer wing and would absolutely recommend him and the hospital to anyone needing similar procedures.

The actual visit with dentist (Simon Robertson) was at is normal excellent standard by explaining what dental work was required to resolve the situation of which he completed explaining each task as he progressed with no drama or problems. The doctor and nurses here are very kind and really helped me during a nerve wracking procedure that I was highly anxious for. I do think given how much we pay for these appointments, that the facilities could really use a revamp. It fees tired and dated in the common areas and the toilets were not very clean. On top of that, you can never find a parking spot, which adds extra anxiety to pre appointments.

From walking through the doors on my first visit (presurgery) in June 2025 I was put at ease at all stages throughout my visits from the reception staff, the assessment staff pre surgery and the operating staff, pre and post surgery staff and the surgeon himself. Any questions IAd were answered very thoroughly.

I HAD BEEN ADVISED that emergency treams were available in spencer. Mr Murthy was most kind and was willing to operate but said that services were not available and that the anesthetist would not operate. He advised me to continue via NHS. Given these facts and that this was the 4th consultant I have seen I am far from happy. No criticism of Mr Murthy he was extremely kind and honest.
