had a right knee replacement with Mr. Sam Rajaratnam just over two weeks ago on 3rd November 2025, and what I had feared would be a difficult and painful operation turned out to be completely painless. Sam is extremely kind, patient and reassuring — perfect for someone as nervous as I was. I had delayed doing this surgery for a year and a half and even cancelled the operation twice before finally going through with it! Mr. Rajaratnam has built an outstanding team, including an exceptionally experienced anaesthetist, Dr. Barry Philips; a kind and highly competent nurse consultant, Ms. Christine Howis; and an excellent senior physiotherapist, Felicitas Gatti, who visits me at home to guide my post-operative exercises. I was also extremely impressed by all the medical staff at the Cleveland Clinic hospital, who provided exceptional care throughout my stay. Whilst at the Cleveland, Sam visited me daily, and even came in today after my staples were removed to check on my progress. Mr. Rajaratnam’s expertise is evident—he has performed over 7,000 knee replacements—and the level of care and support I received was extraordinary. I was expecting a significant increase in pain once the stronger medication stopped a week after surgery, but to my surprise, I remained completely pain-free. I am extremely grateful to Sam and his wonderful team. I’ll be back for my other knee as soon as I’m up and running again!

I recently saw Dr Matthew Balerdi, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ve been struggling with low blood pressure and worrying symptoms for a long time, and have often felt brushed off in the past, but Dr Balerdi really listened. He performed my heart scan, explained everything clearly so I could understand, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the appointment. I never felt rushed or silly for asking questions. He went through my results with me in detail, reassured me about my heart, and gave me practical, realistic advice on how to manage my low blood pressure day-to-day. I left the appointment feeling heard, understood and much more confident about what’s going on with my body and what I can do to help myself. I will continue seeing Dr Balerdi until my blood pressure is completely stable, as I have absolute confidence in his care. I would highly recommend Dr Balerdi to anyone needing a cardiologist, especially if you’ve felt anxious or dismissed elsewhere.

I have now met Panos several times; on an outpatient basis prior and post my total hip replacement procedure and, of course, during the latter. He is charming, energetic, and conveys a reassuring aura of complete professional competence and capability. The fact that he also practices the anterior entry, minimally invasive hip replacement procedure is testament to that and, clearly, a significant advantage over conventional approaches. I have complete faith in his expertise and am now looking forward to reaping the physical and associated mental benefits of the results of his capabilities. I would unhesitatingly recommend him to anyone with a problematic hip!

Mr. Sri performed a retroperitoneal robotic-assisted partial nephrectomy to remove a recently discovered tumour from my right kidney. From start to finish Mr. Sri has been an outstanding consultant. He’s calm and reassuring, and has guided me through major surgery such that I had total confidence from the moment I met him. I’ve healed really well and I’m back to living life to the full within a few weeks. I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better consultant urological surgeon.

Mr Wong is an excellent gynaecologist. He listens, asks the right questions, and explains every step in clear language. You feel comfortable the moment you walk in because he treats you with respect and patience. He does not rush you. He checks that you understand your options. He makes difficult appointments feel manageable. My visits with other gynaecologists felt stressful, but he changed that for me. I trust his care and recommend him to anyone who wants a calm and supportive experience

Mrs Makam rang me and explained that rather than travel to Ketrering to have our follow up discussion, we could do it iver the phone as lonf as I was happy with that. Dr Sethi was fantastic and looked after me so well. He was super friendly and very clear and calm as he went through options with me with regards to a tear in my meniscus always ensuring I understood and was comfortable with how he was describing things. The operation went very well and I am back walking normally again. I would strongly recommend Dr Sethi as an expert in his field. We had regular check ups to see the healing process was going according to plan.

Arrived in good time but parking was appalling. No toilet in the temporary scanner, so had to find another in main building. Was a little out of breath in return and was sent straight in. Told to stay still, but was still breathing a little hard which wasn’t taken into account. The staff were pleasant but seemed to give up on me when I couldn’t hear instructions through the headphones (I had been told to wear ear protection buds underneath).

My appointment was a scheduled telephone call. Professor Ullah had read my medical history and clearly detailed options for the next stage of treatment. He responded to my questions and passed on the Cadiology help line number for further details and answers to any further question. He will copy me the letter he will send to my GP. The discussion was not rushed and I will now review the options and determine my preferred option.

The ADHD coaching I received was excellent. It was so nice to work with someone who had lived experience; it made all the difference. My coach was understanding, compassionate and a great mentor as well as a coach. She asked really thought provoking questions which helped me to think deeper and come up with solutions that would work for the challenges I was facing due to my ADHD and being Mum to an AuDHD daughter.

Patronising, no evidence had read prefilled questionnaire, or previous history. Despite personal discomfort I described, the only response was to leave things as they were, lack of initiative. Lack of empathy. I was asked to book an appt sooner rather than later which I did, and then during the appt I was told to leave things as they were for another couple of months. Very dissatisfied with the service.

Professor Bhattacharya has been incredibly helpful with my knee issue. I have seen multiple specialists who have misdiagnosed or administered the wrong treatment. Only Professor Bhattacharya has truly helped me get on the road to recovery. My injury is not huge but it has held me back for over a year so to finally speak to someone who can fully help and appreciates my problem is thoroughly relieving!

Came in for full health check. Appointment was on time. Staff very friendly. O was offered a hot drink before I sat down. Staff asked if I minded using AI technology to record my consultation. Process was explained to me. I asked if I could be tested for allergy. The Staff found out for me and, for extra charge, arranged for further bloods to be tested for allergy. Check was completed in good time.

I was promised two Salamol CFC blue inhalers u only got one I came back after 30 days but it hadn’t been registered I was told it was to early to get another one I said “ I’d be made to pay when I came back ?” & I’ve been back I only got one Salbutamol I’m not paying for another consultation I need another inhaler please look into it Ms Sue-Ann S

I struggled to get an appointment at my doctor’s surgery, but I was able to get an appointment with Dr Colvin at the Candover Clinic the next day. I was very happy with the service I received. Dr Colvin took time to listen to my concerns and I didn’t feel at all rushed. She has prescribed some medication, which will hopefully help.
