RTN Mental Health - Right To Choose

Communication is not at all a strong point of RTN diagnostics. I was told, I , as-well as my designated persons had to fill in online questionnaires . It took several communications for the questionnaires to be sent out to them . My brother who was the main person and only relative RTN wanted to fill in my developmental questionnaire never has received any communications whatsoever despite them telling me they had sent it to him several times. One of the problems I faced was that I do not have any living relative or friend who knew me in childhood, apart from my brother, but he is 3 years younger than me, so in light of this I was instructed to fill in my background questionnaire myself , to the best of my ability as he would be less likely to know the answers. I was also requested to send in further evidence including a medical summary report , school reports and my personal symptom observations. I had school reports from juniors through to secondary school so I proceeded to send those in to the requesting email . This turned out to be wrong because when I chased it up they said it should have been sent to different department/email , and it had not been subsequently forwarded to them. I was not informed of the correct email previously. This obviously delayed and wasted time. Finally I was told that RTN had everything they needed to move forward with the assessment. I was told it would take 3 months to get the final appointment with the psychiatrist who would go through my adhd outcome report With me. after three months I had not heard anything so I had to chase RTN to see when I would get an appointment. When I was finally given an appointment it was cancelled the afternoon before by the psychiatrist stating they required my brother to fill in the background form (they had told me to fill in ) he still to this day has not received it. It was frustrating so I put in a formal complaint because I had taken unpaid leave as a carer to be able to attend my appointment which they cancelled last minute giving an excuse that frankly did not stand because they had been informed about my lack of family to fill in my developmental form months beforehand. When I eventually got my appointment the psychiatrist I was allocated was changed again and then I was informed my report had not been written out completely by the assessor and therefore some of the one hour allocated was going to have to taken up by him having to ask some questions that he said he needed to make the assessment. He also said that it would have been easier if he had my school reports. I informed him that I had sent them as requested twice. He had to search online to find them., he basically was unprepared for my adhd review. He read the school reports to me during my appointment. It seemed to me that it was all being done on the fly. One thing I also noticed is that I seemed to be assessed (in my opinion) according to male adhd symptoms/criteria. I donot feel that RTN have managed this whole procedure efficiently nor professionally. They lack good communication cancel appointments last minute and arrive at the final adhd report review unprepared. I feel the whole process has been made unnecessarily stressful. From start to finish it has taken one whole year. I chose RTN diagnostics as part of the nhs right to chose. I would not recommend.

I have visited Daniela at Sonoworld on many occasions since 2020 for various reasons / body areas to be scanned. Sometimes for routine checking and at other times, via doctor recommendation. Daniela is always very thorough, kind and her room is spotlessly clean. She has always made me feel at ease when explaining her findings. She clearly has many many years of experience and knowledge. She always goes above and beyond and has followed up with me via email and phone call, especially when she could tell that I was anxious. I have been to other Ultrasound clinics in Central London and I have always found that they are more expensive (for no better service) and more importantly, they always try to upsell more of their services, not something that I believe is appropriate when it comes to health. Daniela has seen myself and friends of mine at short notice, and I will always continue to recommend Daniela and Sonoworld to anyone who requires an ultrasound.

Initially I decided to come and see Mr Biswas after reading excellent reviews about him and noting that he had retrained to be a Urogynaecologist, , specialising in Pelvic organ prolapse. I travelled a good distance to see him but felt that this would be worth it, to see an expert in this field. He was extremely caring and pleasant and explained thoroughly about all eventualities that may happen in surgery. Post surgery he took the time to come and see me whilst in hospital on more than one occasion and was genuinely caring. Overall I felt very confident for him to carry out the procedure and so far have been very pleased with the outcome. Thank you Mr Biswas

Mr Srinivasan was recommended to me by a friend who had recently undergone breast augmentation. I immediately trusted Mr Srinivasan and knew that if I was to go ahead with the procedure I wanted him to do it (I was apprehensive). He listened to what I wanted to achieve from the surgery and was honest about what was possible and how my desired outcome could be achieved - I had tubular breasts which were different sizes. He also explained the potential risks etc of implants. Following the procedure the results have far exceeded my expectations - I now have the volume I desired and my breasts are equal sizes. I could not be happier.

Although the appointment wasn't satisfactory for me because the doctor couldn't give me a second opinion on my back and neck pain since his specialty is lower extremities, he sent me for updated MRI exams so he could give me a responsible and accurate second opinion on my knee and ankle. I emailed the doctor and am waiting for him to reply with his diagnosis from the previous appointment so I can provide my employer with the information they need to continue helping me with the MRI costs and get positive results that will allow me to go to work without any health risks. Thank you very much.

From my initial enquiry about Refractive Lens Replacement surgery, through my surgery and aftercare I have had excellent care from Vision Scotland. Everything was clearly explained and the surgery has left me with the desired result, 20/20 vision with no glasses needed. The only (slight) negative difference here is a greater need for good light when reading at night or close work. The procedure was pain free and I have had no complications. I am looking forward to enjoying the results for (I hope) many years to come. Thank you to all staff involved with my care.

Not a good experience as I imagined paying privately would give. Unable to get prescription due to Dr putting my name as prescriber ? Telephone answering machine usually and although tried to sort I was left without medication . Reacted to dressings again so not feeling good at moment 😩 Please remember conversation during the procedure makes it a lot more invasive. Hoping this time I will free from pain !
