It's not fair that being an NHS patient meant that we couldnt use the disabled parking, which was empty, right outside the hospital, meaning a much longer and uncomfortable walk. We we greeted well upon arrival and called through almost immediately. Although I found the nurse abrupt and abrasive to start with, I put this down to her working from the computer, checking through info. Perhaps that wasn't her strong point with technology. I have many complex needs, including some communication needs, being ADHD and Autistic. I clearly hadn't understood some of the portal questions and answered them differently to its intended expected responses. Perhaps some more understanding around neurodivergent conditions would be helpful and clarity around the context of their questioning, rather than to feel berated for replying "I fear spiders". The question asked for my fears or what I am scared of, if it was specifically regarding the procedure, it should have been clearer. I was clearly struggling with the bright lights in the office, holding my srm up to shield my eyes from the lighting, even commenting to my daughter who I took with me, my questionnaire replies would have told her I am photophobic, but because of how she initially presented to me, I felt unable to raise my concerns and ask for the lights to be adjusted. (This resulted in triggering a migraine after I left). Im still working on advocating for my own needs. Once the computer work was complete and she faced me to go through expectations of the operation day, she mellowed and warmed, her body language positively changed. This helped reduce my heightened anxiety. She was very good when it came to taking my bloods and I didnt even feel it, for the first time ever. I left feeling far less anxious than I did upon arrival.

Mr Peach spoke very clearly and was understanding of my problem but also saw other things which he said he look at and that’s without me asking him to look at also which I found that he was very good in the examination of my face which made think that I have chosen the right person to do what I needed doing so very confident in going to see Mr Peach. But after the conversation with Mr Peach everything seem to go very quite no one got in touch with me as I said I would prefer it done quickly,I have received a letter about my examination which is THREE WEEKS WHEN I SAW MR PEACH . I am very hopeful that I have my appointment before Christmas,it is very disappointing that it took such a longtime to hear from Mr Peach and nothing as been done about when I will receive my appointment before Christmas.

I had an excellent experience at Vitalscan. The whole team was incredibly professional and welcoming from start to finish. The radiographers — Abdo, Mahmoud, and Alice — were absolutely brilliant. They made me feel completely at ease and explained everything clearly before the scan. Their professionalism and kindness were outstanding. Jamie and Safia, the imaging assistants, were also fantastic — so friendly and reassuring throughout. And a special thanks to Mickey at reception, who was extremely helpful, polite, and made the whole booking process smooth and stress-free. Honestly, one of the best healthcare experiences I’ve ever had in the UK. Highly recommend Vitalscan for anyone needing an MRI or any imaging service.

I cannot rate my experience highly enough. Mr. Thakur and Dr. Richard the anesthetist were extremely professional and supportive and took time to clearly explain the procedure and process and answer all of my questions. The nursing staff, Steph, Brian, Natalie and Til were fantastic looking after me post op and were very friendly and supportive. The pharmacy team took great care in explaining my medication and advising on the pain relief regime to follow. Gary from the Physio team was great at explaining the rehab exercises and putting me through my paces to make sure I started my recovery in the best way. A great team, please pass on my thanks.

Arrived today for my knee replacement and I’m just amazed by how relaxed I am bring well and truly looked after Mr Skyrme told me back in May the words I wanted to hear “I can fix this “ and then said but we need to get this BMI down , saying what I already knew but suggested looking for some help from the weight loss and using the injections. I was initially embarrassed and not sure about it But I can honestly say it’s the best thing I’ve done 23 weeks in and I’m 4stone 2.5lbs down and feel great Thank You

I saw Mr Ali Abbas recently and I was pleased with the visit. He was very thorough and explained things very clearly. He took his time to consider a differential diagnosis for my problem and the course of action he suggested has helped me feeling better after years of increasing pain. What I liked the most is that his approach was not limited to treating the symptoms now but to protect the health of my eyes in the long term. His secretary Natasha Masih-Lal was also very helpful with appointments etc.

Fit2function is the best physio clinic I have visited. As a sportsman, physio is an important part of my routine for both rehab and prehab. Many of the clinics I have attended don’t accommodate sports and return to play. My experience at Fit2function was great. I saw Harrison, who is an ex athlete and understood my needs well. The equipment is modern and top of the range, and the philosophy is very aligned to returning to sport and having the best possible outcome. I would highly recommend them.

On arrival everything was explained, my operation was carried out with minimum waiting time, the nurses and anaesthetist were excellent, as was the surgeon, the next thing I recall is being in the recovery room and being wheeled back to my room, very good after care with constant visits from staff. I was able to leave hospital after one night, now six weeks later following expert advice from physio my knee is improving all the time. I would fully recommend the Norwich Spire Hospital.

As I have very difficult veins to draw blood from, Prof Rakhit recommended that I should ask for Andrew in the phlebotomy department....which I did. They were very helpful in helping me to come in at a time when he would be there. Andrew was brilliant. He managed to find a vein without any trouble and I hardly felt the needle! My thanks to everyone for making this a much less stressful experience than it usually is!

Incredibly professional set-up. Staff were friendly, welcoming, informative making you feel you were in good hands. Everything was calm and relaxed. I have used another consultant in the past but always felt I was inconveniencing him with my queries. That was not the case with Dr Muirhead and Sam who took time to listen to my concerns, examine and then treat. An exemplary service that I would wholeheartedly recommend.
