Interpersonal communication with the Dr felt tense, dismissive and confusing. asking me if I’m prepared for examination and that it was sent in a letter 3 months ago which when looking at the wording says “potential examination at next visit” with no instructions on preparing or what the examination entails, I still don’t really know what he meant because it was then dismissed that he won’t do it then but I’m u sure on how I was meant to be prepared beyond being there in person, the conversation made me flustered and if he’d just started that conversation saying he’d like to do the examination rather than talking about the 3 month old letter and me feeling like I’d missed something because he couldn’t tell me the date of the letter beyond it was send to my email there and then so it felt like a pointless and wasteful conversation because the letter was just stating it rather than necessary preparation information. It felt like a waste of time and the last time I saw him he was very dismissive of me telling him wider symptoms that feel related to why I was there it was very undermining and made me feel stupid for saying things that could actually be related to the main symptoms and relevant for him to know. I’m unsure if his attitude was dismissive because it was relating to women’s health issues but as someone working with women’s health patients it’s a common experience unfortunately. A note to add, I believe my first meeting with him probably wasn’t helped by the fact I was 10 minutes late despite parking up with plenty time however Canterbury hospital is so big and with no directions I got very lost finding the right area and I had to ask 2 members of staff to find it, now knowing it’s simple and more direction information in advance could have avoided this. Overall not a great experience.

I have to say.I Had another amazing experience at my appointment. This hospital has to be the best hospital I have ever attended.. From the minute you walk in the doors of the hospital, you are just made feel so welcome. The staff at the reception are so helpful and friendly. The two lovely people in the scanning sre also incredibly. They are just so kind and considerate and so friendly.too. The hospital itself is just stunning. Its like stepping into a 5 star Hotel. There is a lovely ambience in the hospital. I have to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you , to Dr Gérard Kelly. He is an amazing surgeon. I am so pleased with the surgery.. He did a fantastic job. He is so patient orientated. He is so very friendly , he has a lovely manner when speaking with his patients. Which is rare these day's. He explains everything in detail regarding your procedure you are having. He listens to what you have to say, and allows you to voice any concerns or worries you have regarding your surgery. He is a lovely Gentleman, I can praise him enough for all he has done for me. Even the aftercare I received was exceptional. My heartfelt Thank you., to Dr Kelly , and all the staff, for the excellent care and attention I received while attending his hospital. It was just anazing.. Kindest Regards, Karen G.

I initially felt a little apprehensive about the meeting, but the doctor’s professional, friendly, and understanding approach (Dr Olutobi Oyebanjo) quickly put me at ease. He took the time to clearly explain the reasoning behind their assessments, which really helped me feel informed and supported. By the end of the session, I received my diagnosis along with clear next steps, which gave me a real sense of reassurance and clarity moving forward. Although the process involves a commitment with various assessments and meetings it’s absolutely worthwhile. I felt genuinely listened to and guided throughout, and I would definitely recommend this service to anyone considering an assessment.

Paul has been a complete lifesaver. I came to him with neck / back pain but only a couple of months to train for a 6 mile charity swim... Within the first session, Paul identified the cause of the problem and had me back in the water that week (with a snorkel!). He was able to relieve the pain and the exercises targeted the issue but were feasible around my day-to-day / other training. His swimming experience was invaluable, and I really don’t think I would have been in a position to complete the big swim without his help, guidance and encouragement! I couldn’t recommend him enough. Thank you Paul!

The girl who took me to where to get changed wasn't very friendly. Was vague about where to leave my belongings, ledt me in ine with no locker and had no idea if she was coming back or I should go somewhere and got me to go into three different rooms. She forgot to tell me to take my watch off. She asked if i had had an mri before i said yes but i didnt like them. She wasnt then friendly or anything. She was going through the motions. The same when she took me back. Didnt smile or anything really poor and forgot to remind to take my watch

It was a delight to be cared for by such a great and talented team - They transformed what was a challenging situation to a position of great comfort. I very much wish to thank them all for their selflessness and warmth. This is a memory that I will hold for a long time. Based on the quality of all staff and facilities, I would not hesitate to recommend the Cromwell Hospital.

When I had a lesion on my nose Mr Ahmed took a skin graft from my shoulder and rebuilt one side of my nose . This was done by a absolute professional . There is no evidence of this now. Pure skill. But no surprise. When my wife was talking to his colleagues They say he is a artist !!!! I can highly recommend him for anything connected with Ear Nose and throat and plastic surgery. His knowledge is vast and his bedside skill second to none

All fine. Awaiting info regarding rehab exercises and / recommendations of physio who can give knee rehab treatment. Another question: when should I be able to do exercise again ? After the arthrosamid injections I felt pain in the knee on and off. Is there anything I can do to ease it ? Might rehab exercise alleviate or worsen the situation ?

It's always great there though, so nice and friendly, and take the customer care seriously.
