Mr James Young

Mr Young conducted knee surgery on my son who is 16 and injured his knee playing sport. He wants to return to sport and Mr Young has done a fantastic job allowing him the best possible chance of doing this. I would highly recommend and say he is top in his field.

Mr Young was always fantastic with me and I wouldn’t let anybody else touch my knees I trust him 100 per cent you could not find a more pleasant man if you tried many thanks to Mr young for what he has done for me.

I thought the whole process was dealt with very efficiently.

I first saw James Young in February after a skiing accident where I ruptured my ACL. From the first appointment he was brilliant. He explained everything really clearly, including the different options. I had my ACL reconstruction in May using a donor ligament rather than taking one of my own, this was definitely the right decision. I have been very lucky and my recovery has been very quick and not much pain at all. Tess, James's secretary, was incredibly helpful and efficient, organising all my appointments at the Nuffield. The staff at the Nuffield looked after me so well. I would recommend James without hesitation.

I had been experiencing a very painful and difficult problem with my knee, and Mr Young took the time to listen to me and truly understand what I was experiencing. I felt reassured that he took my concerns seriously and was determined to find a solution. My surgery was successful and, thanks to Mr Young, my knee problem has now been successfully operated on and sorted. I am incredibly grateful for his skill, professionalism and the time he took to listen to me. I feel very fortunate to have been treated by Mr Young and would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone needing treatment for a knee problem. He is an exceptional surgeon and will always be grateful for the care he gave me.

cant fault any part of the process...concise information before during and after the procedure, I left a few hours later without the need for crutches, I experienced no paid at all and didnt take any pain killers in the days after ....I am now doing rehab and it feels great.

The whole process was smooth, quick, and efficient. The operation a complete success, it has given me my life back. Thank you James. would highly recommend.
