Mr James Young is professional, reassuring, and approachable, offering clear explanations during patient visits. Patients praise his expert handling of knee conditions, including arthroscopy, partial meniscectomy, and both partial and total knee replacements, which leads to excellent recovery. He ensures patients feel informed and well cared for from their first assessment to post-operative support, aided by his supportive team. Patient feedback highlights his skill in partial knee replacement, meniscus repair, and total knee replacement as frequent themes.
The whole process was smooth, quick, and efficient. The operation a complete success, it has given me my life back. Thank you James. would highly recommend.
I have very pleased with the outcome following my knee surgery and the care and support from all the team and staff at the hospital.
I am. dry pleased with my recent visit and overall stay at Kim’s. I trust Mr Young and his secretary and feel comfortable in their hands.
Mr Young made it very clear to me on just what was going to happen. Everything went to plan, but the pain was a little worse than I had expected. But on the subject of pain, this was my first major surgery, so I didn't know what to expect
10 out of 10, Amazing experience was well looked after. Thankyou
Mr Young explained procedure and aftercare very well. I felt confident in his care. I was put at ease on the day by his anaesthetist personality. I saw Mr Young after six weeks and he seems satisfied with my progress and signed me off. It’s nine weeks now, knee still swollen and constant ache at the moment. The Physio is quite happy with progress. The only thing I would have liked is a further follow up appointment in six months/ a year With Mr Young to assess the final condition of my knee.
Mr Young treats you like an adult. His explanations are fulsome but in simple terms so that they are understood by a lay person. He uses diagrams and models to explain and also gives you an idea of expectations from the surgery. I could not fault the treatment
Having met Mr Young some time ago for an unrelated knee injury I had no hesitation in asking him to investigate exercise driven pain in my left knee. As previously, I received first class treatment from Mr Young and his team. An initial appointment was easy to arrange and follow up scans revealed a torn meniscus. From that first appointment, the follow up scans and then the diagnosis and discussion on potential solutions Mr Young consistently delivered details, advice and treatment options in a professional, comprehensive and understanding way. Taking into account my active lifestyle I opted for Mr Young to perform an arthroscopy and partial meniscectomy. The procedure went extremely well and 6 weeks after the operation, in line with Mr Young’s pre-op expectations, I have already returned to my Hyrox gym training regime. I am delighted with the treatment programme and outcome.
Knowledgable, professional and helped me fully understand what was going to happen every step of the way.
