I had an amazing experience with Professor Khalaf, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I started my IVF journey in 2023, which resulted in a successful pregnancy, and I am now the proud parent of a one-year-old baby. I am currently preparing for a second transfer, and throughout this entire journey, the Professor has been nothing but exceptional. He is incredibly approachable, reliable, and always available. I have been able to contact him at any time of the day, on any day of the week, and he has always been willing to accommodate my needs, including fitting in appointments when needed. His level of knowledge and expertise is outstanding, and he always takes the time to explain everything clearly, which immediately puts you at ease. What truly sets him apart is his constant optimism and positive energy. From the very beginning, he believed in my IVF journey and consistently reassured and encouraged me. This positivity made a huge difference and helped me stay hopeful and confident throughout the process. I am extremely grateful for his care, professionalism, and support.

I was scheduled day surgery on a Sunday and was told to report at Margate Hospital, St Peter’s Rd entrance. Being a Sunday, there was no one at Reception and although a sign said to go to another Reception, it was the wrong one. We asked someone who worked at the hospital and they did not know. Finally we found someone who did know and she directed us to the correct location. The appointment was for 12:30 (no food or drink prior) and the surgery didn’t actually take place until after 3pm. My opinion: 1. Not impressed with the directions and the scheduling; and 2. The surgeon and nurses were all absolutely wonderful, very efficient and professional, and made me feel confident that I was in good hands.

All staff, from reception to nurses and surgeons, I found to be friendly, courteous, helpful and professional. I was generally rather nervous about the whole process, this being the very first time I experienced any form of surgery or a stay in hospital. However, I was treated with the utmost respect and understanding and felt well advised at all times, allowing me to make informed decisions at my own pace, without being pressured. I had to wait a bit longer than I had anticipated for surgery but by comparison to the NHS, it was efficient and slick. It is early days to comment properly on my shoulder replacement but things are progressing well although slowly and I am hopeful for the future.

Although the appointment wasn't satisfactory for me because the doctor couldn't give me a second opinion on my back and neck pain since his specialty is lower extremities, he sent me for updated MRI exams so he could give me a responsible and accurate second opinion on my knee and ankle. I emailed the doctor and am waiting for him to reply with his diagnosis from the previous appointment so I can provide my employer with the information they need to continue helping me with the MRI costs and get positive results that will allow me to go to work without any health risks. Thank you very much.

Mr Dattani has been excellent at every level. I had a shoulder replacement performed by him in London, and the result has been excellent. From the initial consultation through to surgery and follow-up, everything was clearly explained and handled with care and professionalism. The operation went smoothly, pain was well controlled, and my recovery has been better than I expected. My shoulder movement and function are already significantly improved. I would highly recommend Mr Dattani to anyone in London needing shoulder replacement or specialist shoulder surgery.

Dr Hoey saw our son for his ongoing eczema and was excellent throughout the appointment. She was very knowledgeable and took the time to clearly explain the different creams and ointments available, along with clear instructions on how and when to apply them. She also gave us helpful advice for our son’s nursery on how they can support his skin care. Dr Hoey was friendly and engaging with our young son, which helped her quickly build rapport and assess him with ease. We left the appointment feeling reassured and with a clear treatment plan. I can’t recommend David highly enough. I went in feeling 'off' and he was able to confirm that exactly how I was feeling was reflected directly in my blood tests. It was such a relief to have my symptoms validated by the data rather than feeling like it was all in my head. Paid privately for Hip Replacement, initial appointment was disappointing with an hour wait, and a non interested surgeon. A few blips along the way, upon arrival on surgery day, they had me down for a knee replacement not hip, staff on night shift not the friendliest, and thet x rayed the incorrect hip after the surgery. Day shift were great and surgery went well. I will say I expected more for paying privately however the main thing I've had my surgery instead of the ridiculous wait time on the nhs.

I was super anxious about the tests & potential results and whether they would a) arrive in time (as I was due to travel abroad for a month) & b) prevent me from travelling. She was extremely approachable, friendly and explained everything very clearly.
