I’d long ago resigned myself to the fact that I was going to be in pain and essentially disabled because of knee problems for the rest of my life. In July of 2025 a full knee replacement operation was performed on my right knee at the Royal Derby hospital. The result has been nothing short of a miracle. The pain is literally non existent. The range of movement resembles my left knee. I’m climbing ladders to carry out home improvements, I’m taking walks with my little one, I’m able to carry on with my hobbies which involve working on cars and motor cycles. All this after only 6 months of the operation. Thank you doctor Quah. Thank you also to all the wonderful people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting along the way and for all their assistance and patience with my grumpiness at times. From the food service lady who brought me a snack out of hours because I was peckish and thank you to all the nurses, doctors, orderlies… so many.. too many to mention Thank you everyone. I’m disappointed that I can’t go back in time and thank everyone personally, but hopefully this message gets to the right people and they’ll know who they are..😃

My experience throughout foe both eyes and post care has been excellent. Dr Allam was excellent, very professional, knowledgeable about cataracts . My initial surgery was deferred from 2nd Dec until 16th December 2025. This was due to my right being unfected. Dr Allam reassured me that my surgery would happen before christmas. The surgery did happen on 16th December. From preparation to surgery Dr Allam and team excelkent in communicating to me the process Typea of Lenses and cost. Lynne (nurse) was excellent exolaining post-Surgery and demonstrating how to apply the anti-biotic eye drops .Excellwnt support was privided in terms of eye protectors,tape and drops. Follow up by Dr Allam was excellent abd made me feel valued as a person, not just as a customer. The surgery was a major success. On 6th January 2026 I had a last follow up post surgery assessment. Resukting in Dr Allam confirming through eyes assessments, tge surgery was a success. I want to say thank to DR Allam and team for an excellent support abd for the first time since I was 7 years old I can see amazingly well !

I am in my sixties and have had increasingly bad hearing loss over the past twenty years, impairing everyday interactions but also my appreciation of, and ability to play, music. Guitar has been an integral part of my life since I was 12 and my inability to hear pitch, intonation, harmony and to play with other musicians had not been overcome despite purchasing expensive Phonak digital hearing aids from a well-known high street retailer. I have had two appointments with Matt Frost at Harley Hearing and will have at least one more. Matt took a full history of my issues, explained clearly the physical causes of my hearing difficulties along with a detailed description of how it might be addressed. His desire to listen, to understand the nature of my hearing loss and its profound effects upon my life, allied to his incredible enthusiasm, made me feel hope for the first time in a decade. I feel so lucky to have found him!

Great! Excellent overall experience. Facilities in general good, room, cleanliness, staff and procedure. I really am a fan, and if necessity arises would return with a lot of confidence that things would go well. Two small items of feedback : Negative - situation of the centre is not ideal and some patients get a view of a dingy disused courtyard . This is a minor point ! Food could be a little more interesting. Positive - its both reassuring and positive that the whole experience, especially the excellent staff, are so personal. The patient feels that care is tailored specifically to them. Little danger of removing the wrong leg! Warm human interchanges throughout, which is very, very good!

The assessment was very thorough but efficient at the same time. The team on-site put me at ease, demonstrated confidence in their abilities and ensured I understood the problem and potential next steps. The practical next steps (eg costs, timescale and dates) were not the focus of this appointment and therefore, at no point did I feel a pressure to commit. The focus was more on the calibre of staff who would manage my next procedure and we also discussed any medical concerns I had. I walked out of the session thinking why on earth have I held back so long on getting this treatment done! Thanks to the team both the Dr and Fabrizio were incredibly professional and welcoming.

I booked first appointment an ultrasound with Mrs. Maria, but unfortunately, two days before my appointment I had a miscarriage. I did not cancel the appointment because I wanted to understand what was happening. Mrs. Maria was extremely polite, understanding, and—most importantly—honest, which I believe is exactly what someone needs in such a difficult situation. She guided us on which tests I need to do and provided all the necessary information with care and professionalism.Thank you for everything. I was referred to Mr. Perera through our private insurance company Aviva. From the start Mr. Perera was welcoming and following X rays, discussed treatment and corrective surgery for my bunion problem and my toes. He went through the surgery procedure, explaining clearly what he would do and what to expect after the surgery. On the day of surgery he went through everything again with me, prior to the operation. I was kept in overnight and have had several follow up outpatient appointments. I would highly recommend Mr. Perera for his excellent bedside manner, knowledge and professionalism.

This was my second cataract operation on my left eye having had a very successful cataract removal and lenses replacement on my right eye performed by Mr Sian a couple of months earlier at Musgrove Park. Mr Sian’s skills , patience and care are exemplary. The outcome hss exceeded all my expectations. For information I initially saw Mr Sian at the Nuffield and had my resulting procedures at Musgrove Park due to the complexity of both eyes. My comments apply mainly to Musgrove although are also applicable to treatment received by Mr Sian at the Nuffield Taunton.

Mr Saravelos and his team made us feel at such ease for our Frozen Embryo Transfer. He was so patient and helped talk through the procedure in a way I could understand. He kept me calm through the procedure, which previously have been a really painful experience for him. The Nurse Raj was also great and helpful and managed to get all our prescriptions done before the transfer so we didn’t have to wait around. Really great time and brilliant experience.

I went to Dr Al Chalabi for a fistula which I had been living with for several years and he operated on, performing a lay open procedure. He explained everything incredibly well beforehand and put my mind completely at ease. After surgery I was almost pain free and in way less pain than expected.
