There was a lot of waiting for drops to take effect as part of the treatment but the fact that everytime one of the staff passed they acknowledged you so you didn't feel you had been forgotten, a big plus in my book. There were many times when my DOB and name were checked. This made me feel secure as I think it made me feel that any mix up was very unlikely, another plus in my book. During the set up for the operation I was asked to look into the very bright light. Not a problem for the eye being operated on but keeping my other eye open as requested was difficult for me. Perhaps some form of shading for the other eye could be provided so that the natural instinct to close that eye could be eliminated and thus the natural effect of doing that affecting the eye being operated on. During the operation the surgeon needed to speak to me at times. I am hard of hearing and didn't have my hearing aids in. At times it was hard to hear the surgeon. The issue was worse when the "pump" noise was going. Some of this was the fact that she was a lady with a higher pitch voice, whereas I could easily hear the male voice in the room. I have the same issue hearing my wife for the same reason (I claim!). Perhaps it would be good if the surgeon established if there is a hearing problem and if there is, the voice volume could be raised. I realise that this is my problem but I cannot be unique in this case given the age profile of you patients. This visit was my second eye so I knew what was happening. However, thinking back to my first visit perhaps a slightly better introduction could be given to new patients as to what to expect with the intervals between patient staff interactions to help limit any anxiety they may feel. Also a bit more information regarding the after effects of the operation could help and anxiety at that time. I realise you will wince at this but I found a YouTube video of american origin that went through the after effects step by step and this relieved me as I realised what was happening to me was normal. Overall I was very pleased with the atitude of all the staff I met and the service they provided. Thank you very much.

I am writing to express my deepest gratitude and admiration for the exceptional care you provided during my total knee replacement (TKR) surgery and the follow-up complications that arose. From our very first consultation, you explained everything clearly and reassuringly, putting me completely at ease about the procedure. Your expertise shone through in the surgery itself — the operation went smoothly, and I recovered remarkably well in the initial days, with far less pain and quicker mobility than I had anticipated. Your skill and attention to detail made what could have been a daunting experience feel manageable and even positive. What truly sets you apart, however, is how you went above and beyond when I was unexpectedly rushed back in due to internal bleeding in the knee. I was terrified and in significant discomfort, but your prompt response, calm professionalism, and decisive action turned what could have been a serious setback into a manageable issue. You personally oversaw my readmission, ensured I received immediate attention, and handled the emergency intervention with such care and precision that the bleeding was controlled quickly and effectively. Your team worked tirelessly around the clock, and your follow-up visits and check-ins made me feel truly looked after — not just as a patient, but as a person going through a frightening time. Thanks to your outstanding surgical skills, dedication, and genuine compassion, my recovery has progressed brilliantly. I am now walking with confidence, free from the constant pain that plagued me before, and getting back to enjoying life in ways I hadn’t thought possible. You didn’t just perform a procedure; you restored my quality of life, and for that I will always be profoundly thankful. Please pass on my sincere thanks to your entire team — the nurses, anaesthetists, physios, and support staff — who were equally kind and professional throughout. If this letter can in any way help highlight the brilliant work you do, or if there’s ever an opportunity for me to provide feedback or a testimonial, I would be more than happy to do so.

I have recently had a hysterectomy performed by Professor Bunkheila. The operation was a great success and I cannot thank the Professor enough for his compassion and care from my initial appointment through to the post op consultation. Professor Bunkheila was the nicest gentleman to deal with, listened to all my concerns and was reassuring and professional when discussing all the pros and cons to having such a procedure. His kind, caring manner made me feel so comfortable and after many years of extreme pain and debilitating medical conditions, I felt finally that someone was actually listening to me and could make a difference. I was very poorly at my initial consultation and now feel 100% recovered and it has been truly life changing. Professor Bunkheila and his medical team of anaesthetists were wonderful on the two occasions of my surgery as I was very nervous, but both times they were so reassuring. All the staff were very kind and efficient, my personal ward room was clean and the catering was very good. I would also like to thank a particular gentleman called Anil who performed my pre operative assessment blood tests, I am very needle phobic and was terrified but he ensured that it was done swiftly and with such kindness towards me, I was so grateful.

I had a bilateral cataract operation, performed by Mr. Deshmukh. The whole experience exceeded my expectations. The technicians who did all the assessment checks (separate and earlier appointment) were excellent. At this appointment I met Mr Deshmukh who put me at ease and we discussed the best replacement lenses to suit my needs. For me the premium lenses were the right choice. On the day of the operation the hospital staff were brilliant - professional and good humoured. The operation was completely painless and took much less time than I had anticipated. The immediate aftercare was been superb and the nurse talked me through what I had to do and just as importantly avoid doing. I was given some eye drops to use for the next 4 weeks. You quickly become expert at using them. Following the operation my eyesight was as good as I can remember it ever being. I then returned for a follow up consultation with Mr Deshmukh who confirmed that my recovery was going very well and my vision is better than 20/20. I have worn spectacles since my early teens and this is an incredible outcome. I can now proceed with my training to become a driving instructor.

After enduring increasing pain in my left knee over a period of 15+ months with associated sleep deprivation I consulted Mr Winston Kim, who, after investigation, confirmed that the issue was more than likely with my badly arthritic left hip, which could impact the knee with resultant pain. I consequently had a full left hip replacement carried out by Mr Kim at the beginning of August. The pre and post operative process was very well organised and the surgery was undertaken extremely professionally. Mr Kim was very empathetic and understanding, explaining what would happen during and after surgery. He rang my family as soon as I was in recovery to reassure them that all had gone well. I was encouraged to stand up out of bed in the evening following surgery and was discharged with very little pain after only two nights in hospital. Five months after surgery, with support from the physiotherapy team, I am now able to walk without any mobility aids. I am extremely grateful to Mr Kim for resolving my issue and for his reassurance and guidance during post operative reviews. I would highly recommend Mr Kim and his team.

Mr Dheerendra could not have been more professional, appropriately friendly and always explained everything so I could understand what he was going to do .He was exceptionally helpful in securing a hospital place where I would be accepted for the operation I needed. (Other medical conditions had made this a difficulty in the hospital of my first choice.) He was an excellent surgeon, my recovery has been very good, he took extra time to make 3 additional visits when I was in hospital to ensure that the wound was healing properly. He was very good at listening to me, both in terms of my current problems and in terms of my expectations for recovery. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone, both for his skills as a surgeon and for his ability to communicate with his patient

Once I arrived on the day of my surgery, the nurses were great in making sure I was fully prepared. The only questionable experience I had was that the physio who visited me before the surgery caused some confusion, as the exercises she showed me to do during the first three weeks were not what Prof. Field had said. Also it seemed odd that the physio visited me before the surgery, rather than after. Hence I ended up staying the night and saw Yannis, a different physio, the following morning, who was incredibly helpful. However, the experience overall was great, and Prof. Field and Dr Hussain, along with the day and night nurses, made me feel very comfortable and looked after me well.

The assessment was very thorough but efficient at the same time. The team on-site put me at ease, demonstrated confidence in their abilities and ensured I understood the problem and potential next steps. The practical next steps (eg costs, timescale and dates) were not the focus of this appointment and therefore, at no point did I feel a pressure to commit. The focus was more on the calibre of staff who would manage my next procedure and we also discussed any medical concerns I had. I walked out of the session thinking why on earth have I held back so long on getting this treatment done! Thanks to the team both the Dr and Fabrizio were incredibly professional and welcoming.

I visited twice due to a stiffness in my neck. Rey was exceptionally friendly from the start and I felt I was listened to and he understood the issues I had been experiencing. I was very happy with the treatment feeling a notable difference minutes after the first session. They really do give good customer service and will not try to add extra, unnecessary sessions to get more money - my treatment lasted two sessions, and I was told to listen to my body and get back in contact if and when I need to. I will definitely be going back, even if it’s just for a quick readjustment.

I didnt visit a practice, this was a blood test that was sent by post to me with an at home kit. So my rating is based on the blood test. I will visit a practice in early February to do a skin check. But everything was packed securely and sent quickly, and you appear to have received it very quickly and given me a result within a day of receiveing my blood, which I fully appreciate. The only thing I would mention about the process was the amount of blood I could get out of three fingers was less than what you asked for. Luckily it was enough for you to do the test.

I was very apprehensive about eye surgery, but Tom Cudrnak Ophthalmology put my mind at ease. The procedure was painless, swift, and professional. I felt completely safe and supported, especially under Roni's warm, friendly guidance and that of the other team members. I felt in safe hands from the very first consultation to the final follow-up. It was a fantastic process. The results of the eye operation are miraculous and life-changing, and it means so much to me to have my sight back, thanks to you.

I recently saw Mr Shakir Hussain for a check up after he did a complex hip replacement. He was as delighted as I was to be able to walk into his consulting room pain free as previously I had to use a wheelchair to get about. I cannot thank him enough as I was first diagnosed in my local hospital and was told my hip was to stay fractured and nothing could be done. There was no way I could have a lifestyle that befits a woman of 67.

You will need to be collected if you have sedation but I was still in and out within 2 hours. Overall I was very impressed by everyone I had contact with and would recommend without hesitation.
