I have been under the care of Professor Faiz for approximately 18 months, during which I underwent major and complex surgery performed by Professor Faiz himself. This followed almost two decades of severe inflammation in the bowels, which had resulted in a very aggressive disease with numerous complications. When I first met Professor Faiz, it quickly became clear that he had an exceptional understanding of the progressive nature of my condition, as well as its many intricacies and complications—far beyond any other consultant or surgeon I had previously spoken to. Professor Faiz was extremely thorough in conducting tests and assessments to gain a complete picture of my situation. He then developed a clear surgical plan, carefully considering the best approach while prioritising the elimination of all possible risks. Professor Faiz also collaborates with highly skilled and experienced colleagues, whom he involved at the appropriate stages of my care without hesitation. His secretary has likewise been outstanding and extremely helpful. On several occasions after surgery, I was able to contact her and receive a prompt response from Professor Faiz, which greatly helped to alleviate my concerns. In addition to being exceptionally talented in his field, Professor Faiz is also deeply caring. He understands the human aspect of living with complex conditions and the profound impact they can have on people’s lives. In summary, Professor Faiz is a highly experienced and skilled surgeon who prioritises minimising risk and achieving the best possible outcomes for his patients. He is supported by an excellent team. I feel extremely fortunate and grateful to have met Professor Faiz during what was a very challenging and worrying time, and I could not have asked for better care.

Nicola Hood has been a diamond in a coal mine for me personally. She opened my mind so gently that I never even felt it happen. Her manor is so calming and her abilities to shine light and logic onto what for me was the unexplained has taken me to a place where i can begin to regain control of a very important aspect of my life. Nicola seems to have a very natural talent of getting to the route of things without a feeling of invasion into your private feelings. The doctor has been fantastic as always. Im fully satisfied with his consultation. The operation outside the consultation was the challenge for a patient. After the consultation I was instructed to go to the reception and wait. I was waiting in the reception from around 19:15. A few other patients there were all called and gone and I was alone in the reception area when the receptionist finally spotted on me around 19:50, asking me if I was waiting for a consultation. I reminded them that that I had already finished it and waiting for the next step. They found in the system that they needed to make an appointment for ultrasound and injection for me. On the ultrasound and injection date. The appointment was 11:00. I arrived at 10:45 as your hospital request to the patient and started waiting. At 10:55, staff told me that the entrance area of the ultrasound treatment room had an urgent repaired work in progress and asked me to wait for 15 mins. The staff came over again telling me that it would be pushed back to 11:30.. At 11:35, I was finally invited for the ultrasound. All the staff were friendly, very apologetic and sympathetic. I just wanted to share that there was room for the operational improvement. Thank you for your service.

EXCELLANT ☆☆☆☆☆ From the first consultation Mr Krupa put me at ease....incredibly professional ..helpful and informative making sure i fully understood my options. As a 57 year old i needed to have my 20 year old implants removed and replaced......not only were they encapsulated but too large for my body frame lso requiring an uplift ..with lots of info and another consultation decisions were made to replace and uplift...i fully trusted Mr Krupa to make the right decisions during surgery. I have had multiple appointments and a procedure with kingsbridge, the administration staff are honestly the worst i have came across. From not being able to get through to messed up appointments it is shocking for what you charge in a private hospital. The reception staff at ballykelly are also horrendous. When visiting the hospital i was standing at the reception desk for 10 minutes before i was attended to whilst the receptionists were cursing and slagging off other staff and patients. I would really hope this feedback is taken seriously because I myself will not be back in kingsbridge as a patient due to the outcome of all of this!

He is so well respected that they all go above and beyond, from the very first appointment to diagnosis I had all the results in a week. Imaging came in at 7am as he requested the urgency. I had a biopsy and being on top of Christmas he called me each day to say still waiting for news. Late Christmas Eve, he called to say all was clear. On Saturday, I attended Canterbury Hospital at 7:30 am for a minor operation on my finger. Two nurses looked after me and prepared me beforehand. Emma went out of her way to help. I had a very good discussion with the test and we decided that general anaesthetic would be the best route. Mr. Smith carried out the operation and I was lucky to see him afterwards when I came round and he said it had been completely successful. Everything seemed very calm, organised and professional. Good Benenden experience bar not getting hernia repaired. wonder if I’m just a nervous patient & wait plus patient in theatre emergency put me in fight or flight AR normal to 209. Ambulance to W Harvey, monitored and drugs corrected pulse , home 11.30pm. Been back to W Harvey for check up found me ok. Hospital asking my dr surgery to fit a 24 hr monitor. I now wear an Apple Watch and haven’t had an abnormal pulse since op day.
