I saw Mr Chahal yesterday after struggling with ankle problems since pregnancy, and more recently suffering two injuries that have caused my ankle to give way without warning. The pain and swelling have become overwhelming, especially from midday into the evening, and I finally knew it was time to seek help. From the moment I met Mr Chahal, I felt completely at ease. He was incredibly kind, calm, and transparent, taking the time to explain his thoughts clearly and compassionately. There was absolutely no pressure to make any decisions, and as someone who struggles with anxiety, this meant more to me than I can put into words. He explained possible causes and treatment options in a way that was reassuring rather than alarming, and I never once felt panicked. Sadly, some consultants can make you feel as though you’re being dramatic or exaggerating your symptoms, but Mr Chahal was the complete opposite. There was no judgement, only understanding, respect, and genuine care. I felt truly listened to, and that alone was incredibly comforting. Mr Chahal is everything you would hope for in a consultant. Calming, honest, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He has a quiet confidence that immediately builds trust, and it’s clear he is an expert in his field. I left my appointment feeling hopeful, supported, and reassured that I am finally in the right hands. Thank you so much, Mr Chahal. Mr Hemant Vakharia

I was referred to Mr Hemant Vakharia following intermittent heavy bleeding episodes that were due to underlying fibroids. I had an excellent experience with him. From the first consultation through to the post-surgery follow-up, he explained everything clearly, made me feel at ease and used patient-friendly communication approach including walking me through investigative reports and shared copies of these reports with me. The surgery went smoothly, and I felt confident in his care throughout. What stood out most during the process was his excellent communication skills, compassion and follow‑up — Mr Vakharia explained the next steps at each session, gave me time to consider the possible treatment options (including allowing me to explore a second medical opinion), allowed me to decide when the surgery took place, explained the surgery procedure including risks, gave clear recovery guidance, checked in by telephone after I was discharged from hospital following surgery, recommended scar treatment and age-related hormone therapy I should consider, and said if I had any queries in future I should feel free to reach out. Thanks to his skill and support, my recovery has been very positive. I’m truly grateful and would highly recommend Mr Vakharia to anyone needing surgery and compassionate care.

Mr Salim is a one of a kind doctor - his genuine care, empathy, and understanding is unparalleled and I feel so lucky to have been in his care going through my egg freezing journey. The experience I had with Mr Salim and his team was night and day to a previous experience. Mr. Salim went above and beyond during the process to settle my worries and make sure I had a positive experience (knowing that I'd had a less positive experience previously) e.g., making sure he was the one to do my retrieval even though he wasn't on rota, making sure I always see him for my check-in appointments, and always embracing my (many) questions with a patient and kind response. I truly felt like he cared as much as I did about the outcome of my treatment and I will forever be grateful for him for getting me the 13 eggs he did! His nursing team take the same empathetic approach as every nurse I interacted with was kind, patient, and caring - not to mention incredibly responsive with communications over email. I would (and have been) recommend Mr Salim to any woman going through fertility issues, dealing with PCOS, endometriosis etc. He is the best out there and I wish only more gynecologists could be like him!

I recently completed a course of CBT sessions with Dr Sharon Pettit, focusing on managing my anxiety, worry, and rumination. When I first began, I struggled significantly with social interactions, often feeling socially awkward and fixating on past conversations. My mind would race with worries about things entirely beyond my control, pushing my anxiety levels to an all-time high. It felt like I was in a constant state of fight or flight, from the moment I woke up until I went to bed, leaving me completely drained. Now, almost six months later, I've gained valuable tools to help manage my thoughts and emotions. While I wouldn’t say I’m completely cured, I feel about 75% better and am now enjoying a much happier life. I've decided to take a break from CBT for the time being, but I'm committed to returning if I notice my anxiety levels rising again.

It is always a pleasant experiance meeting Dr Shah for the consultation, despite the nature of the visit. The structure is generally clear and does well at providing patient confidence. To begin with, Dr Shah will listen to us and how we are feeling, how the treatment is developing, understanding and addressing any concerns we may have. All of this provides important patient validation which makes us feel included in the process. Dr Shah will therefore discuss the plan logically moving forward and why, and just clarifying we understand what everything entails. Discussions are open and are pivitol for my treatment, yet also for my wife Lisa, as we can feel confident in a realistic way what to expect and are to be addressing. As I say, all of our visits have been pleasat and comfortable.

On entering the theatre I was greeted by a lovely member of staff (chaperone) she explained a brief description of what I was having done. Dr Dimitri explained the procedure in full and informed me each time he injected the vein, the nurse reassured me, held my hand as it was a little painful. The Dr then told me the aftercare should I be in pain or bleeding. All in all a great experience, it’s funny I always look forward to surgery as the doctors want to get me better. A great service. I had a robotic total prostatectomy for a high grade cancer and two and a half years later I remain cancer free, with normal urine continence and satisfactory recovery in erectile function. My follow-up appointments are always on time as scheduled. I highly recommend the professional care provided by Prof Challacombe to any man faced with a diagnosis of prostate cancer.

There were some tests I wanted to book and she explained they were not necessary, which I found thoughtful as it helped save on the expense. Dr Xue Yan Jiang was very welcoming and professional. She instantly put my husband at ease. She explained things in an easy to understand language and gave us time to ask any questions and concerns we had. She gave us options and again explained these thoroughly with us. Since our 1st meeting she has always been pro active in organising my husbands care. Her communication is second to none. I could not speak more highly of her.
