That’s what I put in my first two star it was poor, firstly I would like you to look into my details for the Doctors name, consultants name and physios name, because this is very important. Firstly I had an interview with a Doctor Who decided and along with my agreement to have a scan on my knees, this was carried out very quickly and after a short conversation again with the doctor it was suggested that I see , none was offered after going through your consultants list I decided on a knee consultant again you will get his name from my file, his first impression on seeing the scan was why did you have a scan and not an x-ray a scan tells you far too much and you already knew that you probably had osteoarthritis in your knee anyway and there’s not a great deal I can do. You don’t need a replacement just need it time to get better with some painkillers, which I’d already been prescribed so another £250 on top of the cost of the scanner. I am a self paying patient. My knee did not improve. If anything I was having formal pains then I had originally which came to our head over the last weekend when I finally contacted your reception to try and book a physiotherapist appointment which I Julie had on Tuesday of this week the outcome of this was extremely good thankfully but when you’re told you really should’ve had an x-ray first then a physiotherapist who was excellent with exercises to do and I shall return to him on the 20th of this month. So all in all I’m not at all happy with your service your building and other staff our first rate, but I do feel that I have been overcharged unnecessarily. I would be very happy for somebody to come back to me before this is published as I’m happy not to be anonymous. Yours David F.

My appointment for a menopause follow-up, with Ms Poonam Pradhan Consultant Gynaecologist was excellent. She was thorough, patient and caring. She utilised her expansive knowledge & experience to give me the best personal service: offering pertinent advice and a sensible overview of my situation. She kindly gave me a private prescription and a letter to take to my GP for ongoing help via the NHS (reminding me about the menopause certificate to help with the cost of my medications). I am so pleased (& relieved!) to know that Ms Pradhan is on hand for future advice and help as required on this ongoing menopause journey or 'safari' as I have coined from a comment made by the really rather good presenter; Emma Barnett. Thanks again to all at MUMS: lovely receptionists (shout-out to Amanda), ace phlebotomists (shout-out to Pippa), and of course the fabulous Poonam Pradhan. Thank you all. FIVE STARS!

Jason is very nice and perfectly knowledgeable. The only feedback I would have is overall, and this is also inclusive for other consultants, it would be great to discuss the root cause of the issue. We only focused on the immediate fix. Looking deeper into the root cause is a missing factor from a lot of consultants appointments and perspectives. For my issue as an example, yes my knee has lost a lot of cartilage but why? I would have liked for Jason to have pressed into that more. Or at least really stress to me to go away and look into this a lot further, possibly with his assistance.

I also want to highlight how fantastic the hospital itself was. The entire place was spotless, with a real focus on cleanliness throughout. There were plenty of facilities to keep children comfortable and occupied, which made a big difference on the day. The rooms were spacious and very well equipped, the toilets were consistently clean, and even the food exceeded expectations. It really helped make what could have been a stressful experience feel much more comfortable for both us and the children.

I researched Dr Neduvamkunnil prior to selecting him as my daughter’s consultant. He goes above and beyond what your average GP would do & thanks to him, my daughter has no longer since had to be rushed to a&e for any wheezing, to successfully weaning off inhalers. I happily travel over an hour to get to where he is based at Spire Leicester & he is absolutely wonderful with children. Thank you so much Doctor for your help with my daughter.

He listened as I explained the horrific pain I had experienced, was confident he could solve the problem, and he did perfectly! He explained everything to me so I had no doubt what to expect. Recovery was super quick and minimal, almost invisible scarring in less than six weeks.

Everyone was super friendly but I really sensed that the doctor I saw was in a rush. It was suggested that the appointment could take 1-1.5hrs and I was in and out in 20 mins with a very sore arm after my blood test. Subsequently I have a huge bruise all down my arm. I do bruise easily but I’ve had multiple bloods taken before and never reacted like this. It was a little heavy handed.
