I was struggling to sleep at night, and even something as simple as sitting through a film at the cinema had become uncomfortable. Finding Dr. Richard Field in London was truly life-changing. From our very first consultation, he was reassuring, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. His entire team was equally wonderful, and I felt supported every step of the way. My recovery exceeded all expectations. Within three weeks I was walking comfortably without crutches, and now just nine weeks post-op, I’m back to most of my favourite activities with a completely pain-free hip. The surgical scar has healed beautifully and is a testament to Dr. Field’s skill and precision. This surgery has been an absolute game changer, and I’m so grateful to Dr. Field for giving me my quality of life back. I can’t wait to return to surfing later this year!

Overall the experience was great. Justyna was simply amazing, super positive, supportive and caring. I felt very looked after. Where things could be improved - better communication in terms of the order of surgery. My expectations was for a 2:30 surgery, but instead I had to wait for an elongated period without anyone communicating with me or my wife. I don’t think anyone offered my wife a cup of tea or other which would have been nice. Post surgery in the recovery room, the ladies began to inclune the bed before I was ready and to the point where I experienced a lot of pain at the surgery point. I found this very distressing and was not needed. A more progressive approach to inclining the bed would have been much better and I could have let them know I was at my comfortable limit, as opposed to being pushed passed it and into pain. I believe as a result of this pain, they gave me a heavy dose of morphine which kept me groggy for a long period into the evening. I would question if this was needed if they hadn’t pushed me past my comfortable limits.

I can’t recommend Debra highly enough as a physio. I had physio for my middle child 5 years ago with Debra and again with my now 10 month old baby. Debra is calm, patient, and so knowledgeable, which instantly put both me and my baby at ease. She has a wonderful way of engaging with babies, turning each session into something that feels more like play than therapy, while still being incredibly effective. She always takes the time to explain what she’s doing and how we can support our baby’s progress at home, which has been so reassuring as a parent. We’ve always seen such positive progress under her care, and I’m so grateful to have had her support. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Debra to any parent looking for a skilled, compassionate, and trustworthy paediatric physio.

My total knee replacement journey has been exceptional. From my initial consultation though to my surgery and the aftercare. Mr Phaltanker is extremely professional, he is very factual without any attitude or superiority. He listens extremely well and is very thorough when answering your questions and concerns. He is reassuring and you feel comfortable knowing that you are in safe hands. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him for your surgery. I am absolutely thrilled with the results. I really hope he will be able to attend to my other knee and my hips when they need doing. If you want a straight talking surgeon with excellent results Mr Phaltanker is wonderful. My most recent visit was for an MRI scan which occurred in in the mobile unit. My oncologist requested a full spinal scan as well as a head and neck scan. The radiographer told me that this wasn’t possible then proceeded to ask me to choose one or the other. I wasn’t qualified to make this decision as both were equally important. There was insufficient information given as to the reason for not being able to have the scans I was booked in for, which really wasn’t good enough. Having waited quite a few weeks for this appointment I am annoyed that I will have to return next week to have the spinal scan. I expect better.

My son had a surgical extraction and the procedure was very calm and relaxed for him. I was able to be there too, so I watched the whole procedure and was very impressed at how clean the procedure was, resulting in a positive experience and successful extraction, ahead of upcoming orthodontic work. Waiting times weren't too long, although for private treatment we had hoped to be seen a little sooner than we were. The practice staff were friendly and very welcoming and high standards were evident throughout, in terms of hygiene and care. My son has no pain and is recovering well.

The therapists and dietitians are very passionate about helping patients and clearly have a genuine desire to help people. The group therapy sessions and the structure of the day was very helpful in helping my recovery. When I first came I was a bit confused about a lot of things and maybe communication in terms of meals and rules etc could be better explained in a more compassionate manner. The other patients and staff are the most wonderful lovely people and I am so grateful to have met them.

Dr Nadine Skipp is extremely knowledgeable and skilled, but also very kind, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Everyone at AURA was friendly, professional, and welcoming.

All staff, including the receptionist, were very nice and helpful. The hospital waiting areas and the consulting room were very clean and well maintained. There were unlimited free hot drinks and water available for waiting patients. Whilst the hospital does not have a car park, there was plenty of on-street parking available (charges varying up to £6.50 for 4 hours - enforced until 8pm), even on a busy Friday traffic wise after 4pm, when I arrived.

Dr Zainab Laftah is an absolute gem. I attended my appointment with a skin problem on my forehead which had been unresolved by 2 doctors prior to visiting her. She is highly experienced and knowledgeable and knew exactly what she was talking about. Within 1 week of her treatment plan my skin cleared up and I felt relief after so long. I'm so very thankful for her, she is great at what she does - I would highly recommended her.

Excellent visit everything was explained clearly- Mr Dehne was happy to talk through my treatment I was very grateful for the care and attention that he gave me during and after my hip operation. I travelled quite a long way to Birmingham to have my operation and would just say that being discharged on the following day as the operation was slightly uncomfortable due to the long distance from the hospital.

All the staff on the ward, theatre and recovery were very friendly and helpful. I was in room 5 and while l waited in the theatre gown I was cold. I was asked to change 3 hours before I was called to theatre. I noticed one of the radiators was not working which I reported on discharge. The actual procedure went very well and was kept informed of all things that were happening.

Delightful! Mr Hariharan has got a very good reputation and I could not recommend him highly enough. He is personable, empathetic and kind. He explains everything that needs to be explained in a clear and concise manner. I have met many consultants over the last few years who were nice and not so nice - Mr Hariharan is up there as one of the nicest. Excellent bedside manner!
