After an awful experience losing my hearing in my left ear due to a previous failed surgery, and a battle with the NHS to get a cochlear implant, I eventually contacted Joe. This wasn’t easy due to being scared to have any more ear surgery. Joe has understood this and given me all of his attention throughout the process. We didn’t rush in. His care has been amazing. Not just prior to surgery, but also post surgery - keeping in touch. Other surgeons should take a leaf out of his book. I can’t recommend him enough. The day of the surgery he did his best to make me calm. And gave me all the attention I needed. It’s early days on the CI journey and I’ve had some balance issues and need to adjust to the new digital hearing. But I cant recommend him enough.

From the initial consultation to confirming the diagnosis and proceeding with surgical intervention, inclusive of comprehensive aftercare, Professor Bruce exemplified exceptional proficiency throughout the entire process.
