About Mr Wayne Ellis
Mr Wayne Ellis has over 17 years' experience in Audiology, caring for both adults and children. He is one of only a few clinicians trained in all areas of Audiology, including complex hearing and balance disorders and the highly specialised field of auditory implants (cochlear, middle ear, and bone conduction implants). He holds dual registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as both a Clinical Scientist in Audiology (Reg. CS17671) and Hearing Aid Dispenser (Reg. HAD02668).
Mr Ellis qualified with an MA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. In 2005, he obtained a master's degree (MSc) in Audiology from the University of Southampton, where he was awarded the D W Robinson prize for the best dissertation in the field of human sciences. Mr Ellis completed his post-graduate training at The Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading, where he was awarded the Certificate of Audiological Competence (CAC).
Alongside his work at OneWelbeck ENT, Mr Ellis is Audiology Professional Manager at The Royal National ENT Hospital, London. He is dedicated to training and professional development, having spent eight years on the British Society of Audiology Professional Practice Committee and three years as Chair of the BSA Short Course Sub-Committee.

I'm so happy and relieved that we somehow found our way to Wayne. When you have a young child who is going through such a massive life change, the team you build around you become your support network and are fundamental to ensuring that child's journey is as positive as it can be. Wayne was immediately one of those people. He clearly is very experienced but he also has a great way with my son which makes our visits more enjoyable than stressful.

Wayne is easy to follow (at least from a deaf person's point of view). When dealing with technical aspects such as adjusting the frequency/pitch of a cochlear implant processor, he is very understanding and has valuable skills so that, in my own case, my hearing feels very comfortable and normal to me. Highly recommended.
Wayne Ellis is knowledgeable, caring, thoughtful and efficient. He is a perfect professional, who took his time to fit me with the best hearing aids for my needs. He made sure I understood how to use them and was comfortable with my choice. There was never any pressure to make my purchase.
