Wayne has always been extremely friendly and helpful throughout my cochlear implants journey

Calm, competent, approachable, confidence inspiring and knowledgeable

Wayne is easy to follow (at least from a deaf person's point of view). When dealing with technical aspects such as adjusting the frequency/pitch of a cochlear implant processor, he is very understanding and has valuable skills so that, in my own case, my hearing feels very comfortable and normal to me. Highly recommended.

Wayne Ellis is knowledgeable, caring, thoughtful and efficient. He is a perfect professional, who took his time to fit me with the best hearing aids for my needs. He made sure I understood how to use them and was comfortable with my choice. There was never any pressure to make my purchase. I have already recommended him and his services to several friends and will continue to do so.

I've worn hearing aids for a long time and lost my residual hearing quickly. Wayne and Professor Saeed worked together seamlessly to run me through the tests needed to check I qualified for a cochlear, explaining the process and choices as we went along. I was implanted Nov 15th, activated Nov 25th and had 98% speech recognition by Dec 20th. Wayne is hugely knowledgeable about his discipline and explains everything very clearly. He treads that difficult line between being realistic, not over-promising but also being encouraging which is all part and parcel of getting a cochlear very well indeed. Many thanks from me, its been a life changing experience getting a cochlear - the relief I feel knowing I can hear my kids, complete my career and function pretty much as I did before is enormous.

Mr. Ellis explained clearly the purpose and nature of the test, and gave plenty of time to discuss initial results and findings. He was empathetic and extremely considerate in his manner, and put me completely at ease. The information he gave me was clear and easy to understand, I left feeling that the issue had been given all due consideration, and it was an extremely useful appointment.

Mr Ellis was knowledgeable, approachable, generous with his time, kind and empathetic. I always felt listened to, helped and respected. Mr Ellis has a sense of humor and a great understanding of serious hearing disabilities. It makes for an excellent hearing specialist.

Mr Ellis is a friendly and approachable clinician. He listened to the difficulties I had with hearing, asked questions, examined my ears; and then proceeded to conduct an extremely comprehensive series of tests under a variety of conditions. What pleased me was that he didn't then automatically prescribe new hearing aids, but showed me how to use those I had (NHS) more effectively. He reassured me that if I used them as they should be used, they were entirely adequate for my hearing needs at the moment. I know I can return at any point should my hearing deteriorate further.

Highly recommend Wayne for any auditory implant diagnostics, especially Cochlear Implants for both adults and paediatrics.
Dr Mohammed Al-Khateeb
Wayne is a unique and first class audiologist. It is rare to find an audiologist highly trained across all domains including hearing, vestibular and auditory implantology. As such he is an indispensible colleague to me both in the NHS and private sector. I seek his opinion and input for all my patients contemplating hearing implant surgery. He is also a very trustworthy and collegiate colleague and a pleasure to work with.
