I was seen by Dr Heggy and a lovely staff nurse Charlotte. Dr Heggy was fantastic he actually listened to me. He listened to exactly how I was and had been feeling. I'd been told by another Dr that there was nothing that could be done so I had to see someone for pain management. I'm in pain everyday and just wanted a resolution or at least pin point what could be wrong. Dr Heggy really made me feel heard and suggested other things before we gave up and just give me medication for my pain. Nurse Charlotte was fantastic. While Dr Heggy was looking things up and trying to find other options Charlotte spoke to me like an actual human. So thank you to Dr Heggy and nurse Charlotte for your time and patience with me. It's very much appreciated

I’m still in early stage of recovery. The attention from Dr Britto brings a lot of reassurance that everything is according to the plan. It is my second attempt to sort out the problem with sagging skin of the lower part of my face and I can clearly see the difference: with Dr Britto I had three (!) pre-op consultations, which brought a lot of understanding and a very clear plan, I avoided general anaesthetic, it was a bit weird, but absolutely bearable experience, I had already had two after-op meetings, mostly to reassure me that everything is as expected and no sign of anything to worry about. More consultations have been already arranged, I feel a constant attention and I’m very pleased with it.

Last year I had surgery for base of thumb arthritis and Carpal Tunnel syndrome. This was successful. However 8 weeks later I unfortunately fell and damaged my thumb! Very thorough, didn't feel rushed at all. I just don't know what exactly he found, what it means, or what it could mean long term. I am assuming he'll explain thoroughly at my next appointment once he has the test results. Though I don't know what the test entails either. An advisory in the appointment letter for patients to wear shorts under their trousers would be beneficial for modestly, or the loan of a gown.
