Mr Johnson Amu is the first consultant I've actually spoken to that listened to my problems and symptoms rather than just going of blood results. For the first time in over 10 years I finally have answers to my problems and now we have a plan in place. Thank you

My husband and I made an appointment with Doctor Amu a couple of weeks ago and it was the best decision we made. During what is an extremely difficult time for us we were made to feel at ease right from the beginning. Doctor Amu really listened to our concerns with an attentive and caring manner. He talked us through our next steps and we feel confident under his care. Thank you for giving us the confidence we need moving forward. I would not hesitate to see Doctor Amu in the future if it was needed.

Mr Amu was clear, concise, professional and most importantly, very kind at all times during my recent episode of Gynae problems. He explained everything in detail in a way I understood exactly what was happening and what to expect during and following surgery.

The appointment ran half an hour behind time. These things happen. However, having waited patiently for my appointment I was disappointed to find that the doctor had not reviewed my file, was not aware of my test results and therefore unable to give a satisfactory review of the results. He seemed fairly disinterested in my case. I was not given a comprehensive review of the treatment options available. Knowledge was lacking on the specific medications available. I was given (from a specialist) an inadequate pharmacological explanation of the differences between the contraceptive pill and HRT. I am concerned that doctors are not given adequate time at the moment and are very busy so I have assumed that some of this may not be the doctor's fault, but I do hope that the service offered can be improved.
