Mr Omar Mulla

Mr. Omar Mulla is an experienced Consultant ENT Surgeon, specialising in voice, thyroid, parathyroid, and head and neck surgery. Since becoming a consultant in May 2020, he has led a specialist voice clinic, accepting referrals from across Yorkshire and beyond. He is an integral member of the thyroid and head and neck oncology multi-disciplinary teams, where he collaborates closely with colleagues to provide comprehensive care.

Mr. Mulla’s practice includes all aspects of ENT, from general consultations to complex surgeries. He performs a wide range of procedures, including tonsillectomies, snoring surgery, sinus surgeries, and more advanced procedures such as thyroid and laryngeal surgeries. With over 3,000 procedures performed during his training and career, he is highly skilled in both simple and intricate ENT surgeries.

His specialist interest in voice disorders has led him to develop expertise in voice augmentation and botulinum toxin injections, which he performs under both local and general anaesthesia. Mr. Mulla is highly regarded for his minimally invasive laryngeal surgeries and receives numerous referrals from fellow specialists.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr. Mulla is committed to education. As a clinical tutor for junior and middle-grade ENT doctors, he ensures that their training is comprehensive, while also supervising undergraduate students in their research. He is the site lead for several ENT research projects and founder of two key courses: the Doncaster FRCS Viva course for senior trainees and the Hybrid ENT course for junior trainees.

Mr. Mulla's passion for teaching, coupled with his ongoing participation in ENT research and education, ensures he remains at the forefront of his field, delivering exceptional care to his patients.
