I recently visited John Flynn Opticians for my 2-yearly eye exam. Dr Janjua is always incredibly thorough in the eye exam, explaining each step and answering all my questions with patience. He takes the time to discuss my prescription in detail and also the variety of lens options available such as anti-fatigue, blue light reduction and anti-glare. I work in the computing industry and having the right eyewear makes the difference between a good day and one where you’re severely tired at the end of it. Dr Janjua’s expertise and attention to detail makes sure you’re confident it will be a good day. Dr Janjua is also supported by an amazing team. Everybody is welcoming and professional, making the entire process seamless and comfortable. I only needed new lenses this time which will be fixed to my existing frames, but when new frames have been required they’ve helped me choose the perfect frames that not only suit my style, but also feel comfortable. What really stands out is the personalised care and attention I received. Dr Janjua and the team genuinely care about your eye health and it shows. I highly recommend Dr Janjua and the team to anyone in need of eye care.

I highly recommend Miss Masara Laginaf if you are considering any eye surgery. I was apprehensive and nervous when considering Lasek eye surgery, but from the first consultation Ms Laginaf explained the process with such expert knowledge and detail, and was able to answer any questions I had. Most importantly, she was incredibly reassuring and was able to listen and answer all my questions with kindness. From arriving with anxiety about the procedure, I left feeling nothing but excitement! During the surgery, it was clear that Ms Laginaf is highly experienced and an expert in the field. The procedure was done in no time at all, and all the way throughout Ms Laginaf continued to put me at complete ease and reduced any nerves completely. Her entire team were incredibly kind, warm and caring. She was incredibly generous with her time throughout the consultations, procedures and even afterwards where I had follow up questions. The Care I received from Miss Breahna and her team was beyond excellent from start to finish. From the moment I made contact to my now recovery. Communication from the team has been outstanding. Miss Breahna and her team were very welcoming when I met them at my consultation, I had lots of questions which miss Breahna answered in great detail and helped me to understand the process.I was asked what look I was hoping to achieve, I was listened to and miss Breahna gave her advice and opinion. When measurements were taken I felt relaxed and at ease. On the day of my surgery I was taken great care of by the team, miss Breahna came to see me and took some final measurements. My recovery has been fantastic, having regular appointments with miss Breahna and her team, any queries I email over they answer very quickly. The appointment and staff were great but please please please sort out the signage to your section of the hospital. I arrived at the QEQM an hour before my appointment as I knew parking at that time would be a nightmare. I was still trying to park 15 minutes before my appointment. I had to leave my car in a side road and hope it was a restricted area. I had to run from me side of the hospital to the other and no where on any map or sign was there anything saying where the Spencer hospital was. I eventually found the main reception who had to give me directions. I found the part I needed by pure chance. I arrived 4 minutes after my appointment time. This is the 3rd Spencer hospital I have visited within 5 weeks. It was the same story at K and C with no signs. WHH was the only one that had signage where I could find where I needed to go easily but again not listed on the main hospital maps.

The most stressful and frustrating part of using RTN services is the lack of communication and poor response times. I have used RTN both via the right to choose path and for a private assessment. You would expect the private service to be quicker and have better communication but this has not been my experience. It is impossible to get hold of anybody. I have sent multiple emails and left voicemail but there is no sense of urgency in responding and waiting times are long. You don't even receive an acknowledgement or holding email to manage expectations. Some very basic and easy changes could be made to make the customer experience so much better.

I recently visited Lanthorn Clinic in Farringdon for an advanced blood test and a shoulder ultrasound, and the whole experience was genuinely excellent. The team were positive, helpful and incredibly efficient throughout. The clinic itself is spotless, with a clean and relaxing aesthetic that immediately puts you at ease. Every member of staff I interacted with was friendly, professional and made the process feel straightforward from start to finish.

Just needed a referral for an overseas routine scan and I achieved what I needed. NHS in their wisdom won't provide scans for those with a strong family history indicator which is fine but utterly absurd not to provide a referral just because a CT machine (superior to most in the UK) is located overseas. These scans can be life savers and it's useful that this provider can fulfil the common sense role that the NHS abdicates responsibility on.

I'm sure it was being decorated when I visited 6 months ago. Still is. Before appointment they send forms to be completed online. No problem with that except one is for COVID asking if anybody on the family has been to a country on the government red list or been told to isolate by NHS. Neither of those things happen now. I raise it every time and nothing changes. Almost as if nobody reads the reviews. So much for "quality"
