Review for Podiatrist Consultant Liam Stapleton I have been a patient of Liam Stapleton for several years, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Liam is consistently professional, attentive, and genuinely thorough. He always takes the time to listen carefully, explains everything clearly, and makes sure you fully understand both the problem and the treatment options. What really sets him apart is how deeply he thinks about each case rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach. He looks at issues from multiple angles, not just the painful area itself. He considers overall functionality, gait, posture, and the geometry of movement, and how all of these interact and impact the body. This holistic and biomechanical approach has made a huge difference to my outcomes over the years. You never feel rushed, dismissed, or treated like a number. Liam is thoughtful, analytical, and genuinely committed to finding the root cause of problems rather than just treating symptoms. Mr Hughes has been an excellent doctor for me. He explained clearly my options for treatment, outlining risks and benefits of each option, and then supported me in a friendly and professional manner throughout the process. His surgery was effective, with minimal recovery time because he took care to minimise the side effects which I had suffered from surgery in the past. He also went beyond the requirements of his post in my post-operative care, telephoning me in his own time to ensure that I had made a comfortable transfer to home. As well as first class medical care, Mr Hughes was a pleasure to know. With a nice and always appropriate sense of humour, he lifted my spirits and made me feel comfortable at all times. There was none at all of the arrogance and pomposity which I’ve encountered from others consultants in the past.

I had a online assessment, I was seen by Wioleta Cholewinska. She was really lovely, welcoming and put me at ease. She made me feel comfortable and was understanding and listened very well. The longest waiting part was from filling out the forms to the assessment, but even tho this was a wait, I was expecting it to be a lot longer than it was so that’s great. The actual booking of my assessment was super quick and easy. They sent me a date and time that was for an appointment within 14days of them sending me the appointment details. I’ve heard this can be a lot longer elsewhere so I was surprised about this in a good way.

The imaging team — particularly R. Wilson and L. Kuriakose — were outstanding. Their efficiency, professionalism, and the way they worked with me throughout the treatment were superb. In contrast, communication from the reception team was limited. There was little information provided regarding waiting times or updates, and my next of kin were not kept informed about what was happening or how long the process might take. This created unnecessary uncertainty during an already stressful time. Parking was also extremely challenging, to the point where travelling by train would likely have been easier.

This was my 2nd total knee replacement under Sam's care. The 1st surgery was a total success, however this 2nd surgery surpassed my expectations. Sam has a wonderfully positive and energetic approach and bedside manner, which is extremely infectious and aids a speedy recovery!!! The surgery was completely pain free has been 100% successful and I am well on my way to a positive recovery. I can't thank Sam and his entire team enough for exemplary care, and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone considering this surgery - the journey to London is a mild inconvenience!

My son had a surgical extraction and the procedure was very calm and relaxed for him. I was able to be there too, so I watched the whole procedure and was very impressed at how clean the procedure was, resulting in a positive experience and successful extraction, ahead of upcoming orthodontic work. Waiting times weren't too long, although for private treatment we had hoped to be seen a little sooner than we were. The practice staff were friendly and very welcoming and high standards were evident throughout, in terms of hygiene and care. My son has no pain and is recovering well.

I recently visited Mr Challand (Jan 2026) for an initial consultation to discuss some post childbearing issues (haemorrhoid's). Mr Challand was amazing from start to finish, he made me feel so at ease in a subject that is so personal to myself. Mr Challand thoroughly explained all treatment options in a professional manner yet in layman’s terms so that I understood fully what treatment operations are available and the full extent of my condition. The appointment was not rushed and Mr Challand answered all my questions at a high level and has made me feel so at ease.

I have not had a very positive experience at all and feel that the diagnosis is not accurate and the reasons given and report are not satisfactory - despite the report saying what i said word for word the analysis is simply not effective and does not align with my symptoms - there was no point having a consultation of the doctor only went off the forms and did not correlate information - also there was no understanding of why i thought i was adhd - i have done extensive research in this field and it would have been better to have an adhd checklist than the autism on

I attended an appointment with a consultant who immediately ascetained that I would benefit from an x-ray. I was provided a form, send through to the x-ray lounge and proceeded to have an x-ray immediately. I then returned to the consultant and knocked on the door expecting to have to wait and was called in before I could even make it to my seat. We then discussed the results and agreed an MRI would be required. I then booked this immediately for two days later. I was in and out in 18 minutes. The whole experience was exceptional.

From our initial consultation to the surgery that was scheduled soon after, and from the procedure itself to the after care, the experience was excellent. I felt heard in the consultation and diagnosis of R-CPD, and the treatment (injections of Botox) seem to have worked exactly as hoped. I couldn't recommend the treatment and Mr Hamilton highly enough.
