Highly recommended. The initial consultation was a generous length with plenty of time to carefully review several years of symptoms and previous tests. Crucially, I felt that I had been listened to. It's important to appreciate that not all departments are staffed full time but staff went above and beyond to work with my preferred dates and quite complex commitments. Once I was set up in the system, communications were prompt and detailed, with a lot of thought and effort clearly going on behind the scenes to confirm appointment slots. All seven appointments were perfectly on time. Decisions about the best type of scan were very carefully explored and clearly explained. The scan itself was very thorough with detailed and clear explanations again. Pre-op tests were detailed and full of care, with some above and beyond logistical and lateral thinking to make sure my tests were processed in time (due to my location). Surgery itself was a very positive and reassuring experience. Checks were very thorough and even the gentle humour to put me at ease demonstrated detailed knowledge of each patient. I was very well cared for throughout my post-surgery stay and discharge. Nothing was too much trouble and the food I managed was delicious. Thank you.

I saw Mr Haldar after my PSA level was found to be elevated. He was quick and clear on the steps needed - a scan first and then, when that revealed something worthy of further investigation, biopsies. That (inelegant) procedure he handled professionally and sensitively. It did leave me with a little bleeding and bruising (as he had warned was likely/possible) but when I saw him urgently to check it was nothing untoward, he offered quick reassurance. He also then was sensitive but clear in explaining the findings from the biopsies, which he had just received and which confirmed that there was indeed a cribriform prostate cancer. He referred me on to an oncologist and I saw him again only when a "spacer" was inserted prior to radiotherapy. Again he was considerate in handling that and checking how I felt afterwards.

Giles is fantastic at what he does. I have just had both hips stitched up with soft tissue labral tears. Both keyhole so minimally evasive. Which is great. I had a wealth of information prior to my procedure and post. Very professional and knowledgeable as you would expect with someone with these skills. The team are also amazing! Very great team he has there from the secretary to the staff in theatre. Put me at ease, and we had some giggles as well. I was particularly impressed with the canula input on my hand. I have never met anyone that can put one of those in without you feeling it. So I was amazed! All the team that make the process seamless Thank you! See you when I need a new hip! :) No idea why I am smiling! LOL

I saw Dr Raiman about an ongoing back problem and was very pleased to be taken seriously from the start. Before he even came into the room he had already reviewed my notes and MRI scans, so no time was wasted and I felt he understood my situation straight away. He listened carefully, asked a lot of questions, and clearly worked hard to get to the bottom of the problem. What impressed me most was that he didn’t simply leave things at the end of the consultation. He has put a clear plan in place to follow up, review how I respond to my current medication, and move on to the next stage based on the results. It was clear that he genuinely cares about getting this right for me.

This was a follow up consultation approx six weeks after a left thr. Mr Evans was keen to hear of progress in mobility etc since the surgery and explained in great detail using images of before and after X rays , the difference that the hip replacement had made. Mr Evans was keen to answer all the questions that we had and advised on further precautions for the next six weeks. His explanations of his advice were closely tailored to my individual needs e.g. which aspects of voluntary work are possible now and in a few weeks time. Mr Evans, with his infectious enthusiasm for his profession was clearly as delighted as we are at the outcome of this life changing surgery.

We have been overwhelmed by the results of mums cataract surgery. During our initial consultation with Mr Subak,-Sharpe he explained thoroughly the procedure and likely outcome. Mum was extremely nervous but after her consultation this eased. The day of the procedure again mum was obviously anxious but the care and compassion she was shown was wonderful. The procedure was pain free. She went home the same day with a supply of drops. Today we had our follow up consultation with Mr Shubak-Sharpe. Mums vision is so improved that she now no longer needs glasses at all, but just regular reading glasses. Would highly recommend this surgeon!

My overall experience at Vital Scan was good, and the scan itself went smoothly. However, I was a little disappointed by the lack of personal attention afterwards. Once the scan was completed, I was left to find my own way out of the clinic without anyone accompanying or directing me. This felt rather impersonal and was not quite the level of care or service I had expected. A little more attention to patients at the end of their visit would make a significant difference to the overall experience

The appointment I had with Dr. Arwa was great. She was very attentive and understanding. She was also determined to help me through anything. Overall it was a good experience. The office is shared with a skin clinic so was turned around a bit when arriving but the receptionist was helpful. No one else smiled or acknowledged me in the upstairs waiting room which would have been nice but if they aren't involved with the FDG then I guess I understand their disregard.

Regardless of the outcome, I felt listened to and heard, which has been invaluable.

Danni was very friendly and enthusiastic, and quickly understood what my issue was. She had lots of ideas on how to resolve it, and helpfully demonstrated how to perform each exercise properly. She had new ideas each week on how to develop the exercises to continue my recovery and within only a couple of months I saw a huge improvement. I'm now almost at the point of returning to playing sports.
