I came 4 times over two weeks for quick diagnostics to treatment. Originally I couldn't make the follow up appointment offered as I was going on holiday, but my consultants secretary Kim managed to squeeze me in earlier which was wonderful. My consultant Dr Rumian was very clear. I had some issues with the MRI which could easily be rectified. 1) I was put into a fairly uncomfortable position that I was unable to stay in for 30 minutes so there was some movement. I'm not certain if the position was necessary, because when they did the 2nd arm they allowed me to be more relaxed. I think they could have ensured I was more comfortable before starting. 2) the headphones/music was way too loud. I asked them to turn it down twice, which they did, but I think they need to test levels before you're in the tube. Also, when the technician speaks the volume is even louder. A couple of times she spoke to say "we're almost there" but her speaking literally made me jump creating unnecessary movement. In addition, the 2nd time they put me in for the other arm, the headphones wire had become so twisted it was pulling on my neck. I had to ask them to pause for a second so I could untangle it. This would be a very easy thing to check each time to prevent it becoming do tight and twisted. 3) on a previous MRI I was informed throughout the session "this part will take X minutes" and in between the scans I was told I could relax... I think this helps because if you need a quick fidget or to let go of tension you can, and then also know when you need to really focus on being still. I was told by the technician they had to redo one of the scans due to movement. I think this could have been avoided if they had kept me updated throughout when they were scanning. The 2nd follow up with Mr Rumian was also clear and effective. The Radiologist Das was probably the best Dr I've ever had. He took time to explain everything about the procedure in detail, but in easy to understand language. He showed me all my bones, the Bursa (how it should look and where its inflamed) same with the tendon. He explained how the injection would help and the risks. He made me feel very comfortable and well informed. I have ADHD (possibly Autistic) and I like to know the details, but usually find radiologists and drs turn the screens away and don't like to go into the details, or assume patients won't understand. I felt the information Das gave me may have been more than most people need, but for me it was absolutely perfect. If he were a GP he's the only Dr I'd ever go back to. I did tell him how helpful he was at the time, but if you could pass this onto him again I'd really appreciate it.

I choose 1150 for residential rehab following a hip replacement. Even before I arrived I felt much more confident about the procedure knowing that I had the opportunity to move to the 1150 before going home. I immediately felt more confident about my situation. I am leaving now after ten days & I can 100% say it was the right decision. Not only the right decision but the best. It is luxurious, comfortable & extremely friendly. If something isn’t quite right they will go above & beyond to rectify it & ensure you are completely happy. Although everything is designed for your comfort & safety there is not a hint of hospital to the 1150 yet there is all the help you could ever need. With lots of spaces to explore your visitors are cared for & welcomed & they all love the experience. There are no words for the actual rehab. Leslie is simply incredible & has opened my eyes to how my body should & could perform . I am leaving feeling confident of my complete recovery. From my initial conversations with Alastair , a true professional, I knew I was in good hands. All the team have been amazing but for me there are a couple of shining stars. Alastair is aware! I leave happy, confident, satisfied but also a little sad as I will miss everyone. Thank you , thank you from the bottom of my heart. I truly appreciate you all

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Professor Sanjiv Jari for the exceptional pre‑operative and post‑operative care he provided, as well as for the outstanding surgical work carried out on my left knee replacement. Prior to the operation, my mobility was severely limited and the pain was overwhelming. I was unable to walk comfortably and had to climb stairs on 'all fours' progressing one step at a time and relying entirely on my right leg. Now, twelve weeks after the procedure, the transformation is remarkable. The pain in my left knee has completely disappeared, the scar is barely visible, and the range of movement feels as though I have a new knee ! The improvement in my quality of life has been extraordinary. Should I require a replacement of my right knee in the future, I would have no hesitation in choosing him again. We are very grateful to Dr Deepak Parasuraman for the care and support he has given to our son following his ADHD diagnosis. Dr Parasuraman carried out a thorough assessment and took the time to explain our son’s condition clearly. As our son is autistic, managing ADHD and finding the right medication has not always been easy. We initially tried non-stimulant medication, but unfortunately it did not work well for him. Dr Parasuraman carefully reviewed his progress and adjusted his treatment to stimulant medication, gradually finding the right dose for him. After six months of regular follow-up, we are extremely happy with the improvement in our son’s ADHD symptoms. At his latest appointment, Dr Parasuraman was also very pleased with his progress. I have been suffering from lower back pain for quite some time. I came across this spine centre and got in contact immediately and was seen really quick for a consultation, mri scan and a post scan consultation with Mr Aylott all in one day. He diagnosed my problem and recommended a solution straight away in having injections to numb the pain, help settle things down and reduce inflammation. This was done within 2 weeks and it has really helped me get on with my day to day life again. I struggled for so many years and got pushed away time after time from nhs and other private people but not here. I highly recommend this spine centre and Mr Aylott if anyone is experiencing back pain, they are extremely good at their jobs and take great care of you.

My mental and physical health deteriorated as a result of my admission. Whilst most of the nurses on my ward were lovely and kind, the failings and incompetence from Patient Services, Board Members and Management have led me to discharge before I can ensure my own physical safety. The ward doctor from the admission assessment made several errors on my medications and diagnoses, which causes further stress and resulted in incorrect administration of medication. The suite package which was paid for was not delivered, nor was any effort made to rectify the services which are inclusive. My time in this hospital was spent in meetings with staff, rather than any form of mental or physical health treatment or support.

Mr Ward has been an excellent consultant throughout my journey, and I am so very pleased I made the decision to ask him to take over my care. He has been supportive, kind and understanding throughout and has put my mind at ease when my concerns were getting the better of me. I feel incredibly different post surgery, and an enlarged lymph node that I have had problems with for some while has finally reduced. I strongly believe that had I not had the surgery, this would not be the case. Very well looked after before my operation and after in ICU,Everyone was excellent,The only thing that lets it down is waiting for paperwork after being discharged and medication,I was discharged in the morning and was still in ICU at 4.45 pm ,Paperwork came but no sicknote.The Doctor in ICU gave me a sick note in the end.But my medication was missing items and no sharps bin.Which I’ve ordered from my GP this morning. Hello to you, You offer exceptional service. I live in Canada and I am on vacation with my son, who lives in London. I arrived here with a knee problem that I had not been able to have evaluated, because our health system is too bad and appointments are difficult to get... Here, with just one click, we had an appointment in 2 days, we received the X-ray results that same day, and the radiologist’s opinion in 3 days!!!! It’s exceptional... Went for a check for a lesion on my arm that had come up quite quickly. The nurse made the examination very easy and explained everything as she was going along. She gave me her opinion on what the lesion was (benign) but said the image would be going to a dermatologist for examination. The results came back within two days with a thorough report that was easy to understand. Very efficient service.
