I recently completed a course of CBT sessions with Dr Sharon Pettit, focusing on managing my anxiety, worry, and rumination. When I first began, I struggled significantly with social interactions, often feeling socially awkward and fixating on past conversations. My mind would race with worries about things entirely beyond my control, pushing my anxiety levels to an all-time high. It felt like I was in a constant state of fight or flight, from the moment I woke up until I went to bed, leaving me completely drained. Now, almost six months later, I've gained valuable tools to help manage my thoughts and emotions. While I wouldn’t say I’m completely cured, I feel about 75% better and am now enjoying a much happier life. I've decided to take a break from CBT for the time being, but I'm committed to returning if I notice my anxiety levels rising again.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. The entire stay was comfortable and I felt informed at all times. Although I asked the anaesthetist and two other staff members for numbing cream for the cannula and being told this would be ok, this wasn't done. When I got to the theatre, the theatre nurse explained it was too late. I was a bit disappointed that I was only allowed a sandwich in the evening but was told this was because of the anaesthetic. The breakfast was lovely and one of the nurses kindly helped me with my suitcase when I left which was appreciated.

Not a paticularly pleasant experience. Was attentive and caring before procedure, after procedure just wanted me up and out, even though I was in a NES non epileptic Seizure. I Signed the water against doing a pregnancy test, as I am non-binary and Asexual and never had sex in my life....but was harassed, called a lier by the aeneathiatist who was demanding i took one. After refusing was treated with distain by her afterwards. I am putting in official complaint as this treatment is illegal and unlawful

Mr Savaridas had my records and latest scan so was able to advise me, answered all my questions fully, explained my options and available treatments. He suggested how we could move forward to improve the condition of my hand. I was given a timeframe and told what to expect and instructions- who to call etc. Very good service from GP to hospital appointment with Mr Savaridas. Thanks

She took her time to explain things in a straightforward way so that I could understand, ruling out certain issues and also outlining potential concerns . I was very impressed with the experience of the Spencer Private Hospital in Margate. The staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. The Reception area was clean, spacious and relaxing. The atmosphere was peaceful and unrushed It's exactly what you imagine when you go to a private hospital you feel special and cared for. Lovely helpful doctor, didn't feel rushed, was listened too. Only reason no 5 star was hard to get through to reception and the inconvenience of being sent a letter for telephone appointment instead of agreed face to face appointment and not being able to get through to reception until the 11th hour to confirm and endure we had the correct appointment. Hospital was clean and looked well kept and staff were very friendly and attentive.

Everything was good but the house keeper was rude . when i came to the building i don’t know which button to press and there was board (if you have any issue you can contact house keeper . I press that button and i told him i have medical appointment he was like do you appointment with me ,he was so rude . He could simply say that press number 15 thats it . But my experience with doctors and other staff was excellent.

I had a surgery which was slightly delayed, but the operation itself was carried out very well. The ward was nice, comfortable, and clean. The only issue was that the kitchen forgot about my meal, and I ended up waiting 1.5 hours for my food despite two reminders. The nurses and doctors were of an exceptionally high standard.

This was the first time I had been treated in hospital for 50 years so I was understandably anxious about having a hip replacement operation but everybody was so kind and helpful with endless patience and professionalism nothing was to much trouble and I would recomend to anyone this hospital and all the staff are excellent.
