I had my breast preservation augmentation at Fitzrovia Hospital with Dr Paul Banwell, and I honestly could not be happier with my experience from start to finish. The hospital itself was spotless, modern, and welcoming. Every member of staff I met was incredibly friendly, professional, and accommodating, which made me feel completely at ease throughout my journey. A special thank you goes to Kate, who was my nurse on the day of my operation. She was absolutely amazing. She immediately settled my nerves with her warmth, kindness, and sense of humour. She always had me laughing and smiling, which made such a difference on what could have been a very nerve wracking day. I also saw Kate for my post operative appointment, and she continued to provide exceptional care. She took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I felt supported every step of the way. I would also like to thank the anaesthetist. This was my first time having a general anaesthetic, and I was so scared. He took the time to explain everything, reassured me, and made me feel completely comfortable. I quickly realised I had absolutely nothing to be worried about, in-fact it was probably the best bit, and I am so grateful for the kindness and reassurance he gave me. Dr Paul Banwell was fantastic and I couldn’t recommend him enough. He was professional, caring, and took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted. I felt completely confident in his care, and I am so pleased with my results. They look so natural and are exactly what I had hoped for. I genuinely cannot recommend Fitzrovia Hospital, Dr Banwell, and the whole team highly enough. The level of care, compassion, and professionalism I received was outstanding. I felt looked after from my very first appointment through to my aftercare. Thank you all for making what could have been a daunting experience such a positive one.

I stayed at the Fitzrovia Suite for two nights following the birth of my baby and for a further two nights during an unexpected admission due to health complications. During my time there, I had the privilege of meeting around 20 midwives and maternity support workers, and I can honestly say that they are among the most professional, compassionate, and supportive healthcare professionals I have ever encountered. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure that both my baby and I felt safe, cared for, and supported. The level of attention, kindness, and dedication we received was truly exceptional and made an enormous difference during a very emotional and vulnerable time. I will be forever grateful to Ravinder, Sarah, Amy, and our guardian angel, Aga, who stood by us through both the happiest and most challenging moments. Their unwavering support, encouragement, and genuine care helped us navigate every obstacle and gave us the strength and confidence to keep going. The care we received at the Fitzrovia Suite was nothing short of outstanding, and I will always look back on my experience there with immense gratitude. Dr Ghosh is an exceptionally skilful surgeon, and I am deeply grateful for the outstanding care and support I received throughout my treatment. I have seen several breast surgeons, and Dr Ghosh is by far the best. I was diagnosed with DCIS. Although DCIS is non-invasive, the amount and extent of the disease can sometimes require more extensive surgery. Dr Ghosh guided me through the entire process with great care. He takes the time to listen, explains everything clearly and makes you feel genuinely cared for. I trusted him instantly and underwent breast-conserving surgery with a perforator flap reconstruction. I could not have hoped for a better outcome. Dr Ghosh closely followed my progress throughout my treatment and was always there when I needed reassurance. His kindness and professionalism gave me confidence during an incredibly difficult time, particularly as a mother navigating one of the most challenging experiences of my life. I will always be grateful to Dr Ghosh for his exceptional care.

Everything was fine up until the moment I had surgery and the day I was discharged. I was told if I don’t leave within the next 45 minutes I will be charged to stay another night. bear in mind the nurse came with the medication and the discharge summary exactly 45 minutes before she told me to leave. for somebody who has had major surgery 12 hours before this conversation I do not think the nurse was empathic towards me at all and rushed me through the discharge summary and my medication without any consideration I will not recommend this hospital or service to my friends and family. The way I was treated it seemed like I was not wanted to be there and as if I haven’t paid 10 grand for the procedure I’ve had done in all honesty I believe I was treated poorly.

I was able to go back to my hospital doctor and discuss what I discussed with Dr Mishra. Overall I would highly recommend as doctor has good knowledge of her field.

Excellent experience.Mr Abdelrazeq was a lovely pleasant gentleman who put me at ease immediately. He gave me a full explanation of the operation beforehand and guidance afterwards. I had been anxious about the operaton but his kindness and approach meant I had total confidence in him. The operation was succesful and I had minimum after effects. Keyhole marks are minimal and I recovered quickly.

Overall, I had a good experience at the hospital. The only issue is parking!

Booked an MRI scan. A problem with my referral letter had to be resolved which resulted in a delay, but I was able to have the scan later the same day. Staff were great all round. Very friendly and efficient. I was so comfortable during the scan that I almost fell asleep. The coffee was excellent but the music playing in the waiting room is dreadful!

I saw professor Nutting following a CT scan of my head and thorax. He explained in detail the results which showed that the disease hasn't worsened but there was limited shrinkage. This then allowed for more chemo sessions. His report and recommendations are welcome news to my wife and me. We were desperate for something positive
