I recommend Dr Shalni in the strongest terms to mothers and families looking for private care at UCLH. Shalini is passionate about obstetrics, her patients and practising medicine. It is a great privilege to be cared for by a clinician at the top of her field, who clearly cares deeply about her patients. We opted for private care at UCLH because we wanted the birth experience to be as positive as possible. As a medically uncomplicated patient I felt that I may not receive much attention or time on an overstretched NHS ward. I also had some anxieties around birth (as a healthcare professional myself) and felt reassured to be receiving consultant-led care. from Shalini, a professional at the top her field and with whom I was able to build a trusting relationship. Shalini provided exceptional care from 32 weeks pregnancy and after delivery. She got to know me and my partner, and understood our priorities and concerns. I had previously found it hard to make decisions around birth. Shalini provided us with evidence, data and her experience - this empowered us to make the decision that was right for us. She spent a lot of time with us and brought great care, empathy and kindness to her practice, as well as her excellent clinical skills. When we had questions, fears or anxieties Shalini was able to reassure us, both with her kindness and her experience and expertise. The care she provides is holistic and individualised - she advocated for me in many ways and empowered me to advocate for myself too. We had an elective caesarean at 39 weeks. The surgery was pain free and crucially for me, I felt confident and safe - something that was not natural for me in approaching birth. Shalini was close at hand to care for us before and afterwards. I made an excellent recovery and have healed extremely well.

Usually feedback is of a negative nature but this is not one of those occasions. My experience was awesome for which I am super grateful. I have had a number of gastroscopies in my life so was nervous about what was going to happen. From the moment of my arrival I was greeted and made to feel comfortable straight away. The pre-procedure nurses were very clear, helpful and showed huge amounts of empathy about what was going to happen. When wheeled into the operating theatre I was introduced to all of the team who were to perform the procedure, all of whom had welcoming smiles and a reassuring tone (a tone that continued throughout the procedure). Dr Alan Watson was super clear, professional and again very comforting. I knew I was in safe hands. I just had a throat spray, no sedation, so was fully aware of what was going on. One action that was performed by a nurse during the procedure was to, comfortingly, rub my shoulder. I couldn’t see who it was, but such a small, seemingly insignificant action, was hugely important to me and kept me connected with humanity during the brutal fact that I had a scope down my throat. Post procedure, I was greeted with the warm smiles again and wheeled to the recovery area where again everyone was super attentive. I can’t say thank you enough for everything. The team were awesome.

Mr Moss is very clear in his diagnosis and options for treatment, surgery or not. He expertly identified problems with my knee that had plagued my life for four years since my first implant. He leaves nothing to chance and his thoroughness is very reassuring after my experience with another surgeon. His reputation is well deserved and he promises only what he can deliver, and deliver he does. Two months on from my revision surgery I can already do things I never thought possible and my pain has reduced remarkably from before surgery. His competence is truly life changing and I cannot recommend him highly enough

I have suffered a particular condition for over 5 months. Dr Batty is the first medical practitioner to give me confidence that he under stood the symptoms and believed he knew how to alleviate them. Within 5 mins he had arranged for x rays and within 15 had used them to explain what needed to be done and how. Within 5 days I had a further appointment and the agreed treatment. Throughout Dr Batty was patient, decisive and professional. He listens carefully and answers in detail and using terms that are understandable to the layman. I am very grateful for his help and treatment.

My overall experience was excellent, from the reception staff, being taken to the room, the 1:1 pre-operative discussions with Dr Lowe and Dr Barnard, to the nursing staff (continuity of the nursing staff and Daisy's approach and empathy), the theatre team and the post procedure care. I mentioned to Dr Lowe how impressed I was with the communication between the theatre team, which provided a great deal of confidence. I should also mention how well they communicated with me on a 1:1 basis explaining what they were doing.

The New Vic --- now known as the 'BUPA New Victoria' --- is a smallish but excellent private hospital situated just off the A3 between Wimbledon and Kingston. It has recently been enlarged and its large Reception is now most welcoming. So far as I know, the rooms are all of the ground floor and overlook well-maintained gardens. Surgical procedures that my family and I have had at the New Vic over the last thirty years have all been trouble-free and successful.

My first ever visit to a non NHS dr. I was embarrassed and a little afraid of huge bills and unconfident that Dr Denton would be able to help me. He did, straightaway, and pointed me towards the pharmacy for over the counter remedies as well as giving me a prescription for medication that actually works! He even found me a local Dr who can help with an operation I have needed for 48 years but that my NHS dr would not even attempt. Absolutely fantastic!

The whole clinic were incredibly accommodating and I feel they went above and beyond to make sure we felt supported. This was my first experience of the Hillsborough Private Clinic and the staff were very professional, knowledgeable and welcoming. While this is an older style building is was well set out and immaculately clean and while I appreciate that space is at a premium a groundlevel toilet facility would be an asset as while I have no mobility issues I can see where climbing stairs to the bathroom could be an issue for some.

The car park is a little problematic...quite full. Spaces tight making it hard to get out of the car with hip/ knee problems. Receptionists always polite ,friendly and helpful.....as are all staff. As always, Mr Rawal is always smiling and friendly. Makes me feel important and at ease. Explains things clearly, answers all questions and I never feel rushed or that he's he's in a hurry . He is very kind .

Nurses were all keen to offer care, and talk, which I appreciated, it's easy to get in your own head, and I appreciated the distraction! One thing I would comment on is that there is always a long wait. I was asked to arrive at 8:30am, but I didn't actually have my procedure until 10:30, which gave lots of time to think. A more streamlined appointment process would be helpful

Always first class from reception to Doctor.....I have needed to use Daleswood Health due to Local GP Practice and Local Hospitals failure in respecting my needs - which incidently are very minor and things which I shouldn't have to go privately for....having said this, I am always happy to have Daleswood Health available to me. They are brilliant and my saving grace.

These guys are amazing I have had major problems with my back and shoulder Couple of years ago unable to walk more than 200 meters in such pain but with the team at Osteopathy West using hand on manipulation together with IDD treatment I have no problems I make sure that I have the occasional top up but can comfortably walk 8-9 miles 👍
