I went for an independent assessment of my prostate cancer diagnosis with a possible view to private treatment if I did not get chosen for focal therapy on the NHS trial that I hade been offered. Also to help me make my mind up which of the many options offered to me by the NHS A consultation was quickly arranged via Mr Doherty’s p.a. for £250 which my wife and I attended. I was given an excellent appraisal at the meeting followed by a letter that outlined a meeting Mr Doherty had with his peers to discuss my case. The letter confirmed that in their opinion focal therapy was a good option in my particular case having had access to my medical records This in my view was an excellent service for the fee but I was lucky enough to be chosen for this focal treatment under the NHS trial, I would have gone private had not my private medical insurance rejected my claim (that is another story) I am however indebted to Mr Doherty’s help and service which he provided So far the day operation held in Oxford on the 10th Nov 2025 has had very few downsides although I am still awaiting the final result on Jan 13th 2026 and hoping for a positive result from my consultant on this day The treatment was far less intrusive that the other options offered to me for which I count myself very lucky. Under the trial I will be monitored so that the NHS can find out how the longer term prognosis is for focal treatments so they are able to offer this more widely in the NHS. For my selfish sake I hope that it is good news for me and will enable others to benefit from my experience now and in the future. I am aged 74 and look forward to good health for the foreseeable future.🤞

During the induction processes, she was communicative in her planning, and she remained by my side throughout labour, guiding my spouse and me through every step. My deliveries were straightforward, and my sons were born healthy. Miss Noori is exceptional, and I am forever grateful to have been under her care. Thank you, Muna!!

I had my baby girl delivered by Dr Jess McMicking in October 2025. When I first met Jess I knew I wouldn’t be able to find anyone better for my pregnancy care and delivery. Her professionalism coupled with calm and personalised approach as well as real desire to understand my unique journey is what made my experience so smooth and worryless. She was always available to answer any of my questions or address any concerns giving me peace of mind. Even when we had to bring the delivery forward by 2 weeks because my baby slowed growing, I knew that I am in such great hands and that was so reassuring. I had an elective c-section and Jess carefully guided me through what to expect before, during and after the surgery again leaving no questions unanswered. On the day itself everything went just perfect. My quick wound healing and recovery is another testament to Jess’ amazing skills. My husband and I will be forever grateful to Jess for everything she has done for us and if we have another baby we will go straight back to her without hesitation.

I feel very fortunate to have had my chemotherapy and radiotherapy at GenesisCare Cambridge. The standard of care is excellent and everyone at the clinic is friendly and welcoming. While spotlessly clean with fantastic facilities the centre doesn't feel overly clinical. I really like the holistic approach to treatment at GenesisCare and particularly benefited from the exercise medicine clinic which took me from gym phobic to regular gym goer with huge benefits for my physical and emotional wellbeing. GenesisCare go above and beyond to make treatment less arduous, from providing really comprehensive support to prevent or mitigate unpleasant side effects to offering a complimentary taxi service to and from radiotherapy sessions. Another plus of GenesisCare is that the consultations are never rushed - there is always time for questions and I particularly appreciated my consultant taking time to talk me through the treatment options and providing really clear answers to all my questions.

James has been very honest and open with me from day one and not promised a "magic cure" to my disease but instead a realistic approach to extending my life as long as possible. He is open to any questions I have had and considered everything I suggest and always given his feedback and opinions in an honest way without me feeling uncomfortable for asking. I saw Mr Wu for my carpal tunnel syndrome which I had had for many years. I was just ignoring it as I didn’t want surgery. When I first saw him he was so professional and reassuring. I had my nerve conduction tests done and it demonstrated moderate carpal tunnel syndrome. I then assumed I could leave well alone and he very kindly and assertively said I should have surgery because if I left it the surgery might not be so successful. I had endoscopic surgery under a local block. The whole surgical experience was amazing. His whole theatre team were kind and efficient. My symptoms were cured immediately and I had my first good nights sleep for years. At 6 weeks the hand has healed so well and I’m even back to playing golf. Cannot speak highly enough of Mr Buddhdev. Made us feel very comfortable was fantastic with our daughter and gave very clear, honest and helpful advice and explanations as to what his thoughts were regarding helping Iris both in the present and future. We were made to feel part of the process, as all of the explanations regarding the more technical aspects of Iris’ hips and other areas of potential concern were portrayed in a manner a layman could understand. At no point did we feel we were being talked down to which is both rare and very welcome! Overall an accurate assessment with good advice which was easy to understand provided by a very personable professional doctor… Would recommend all of our friends within the CP community in a heartbeat.

It's two days since I had major surgery at St Hugh's hospital in Cleethorpes. I still find my eyes tearing up with gratitude at how well they have cared for me. Their consultants are of the highest calibre. And all the staff on the wards, from nurses through to the kitchen, are a joy to witness. Their happiness at work permeates through every nook and cranny. They have looked after not just my body, but my emotions and my dignity. Major surgery is always stressful, but the aftercare I had at St Hugh's has given me a headstart in my recovery. All credit too, to the wise and judicious management in the background. Only good managers could maintain a team who are so united and happy in their jobs. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am writing this review after my second video link conversation with Dr. Jeczmien. He didn't make me feel inadequate which enabled me to open up to him. It has taken me years to admit to myself that I needed help and I have finally found and taken the first step to hopefully stop chasing my tail and start to lead a normal life. If this review helps you to also take the first step to reach out for help I am over the moon for you. I was diagnosed as dyslexic at the age of 8years - I am now 46 years old. I didn't want another label but at least I now know I am ADHD a whole weight has been lifted and I am looking forward to try to have an organised life in the future.

The toilets were yet again filthy. For the second time I complained. I appreciate that nothing will change, but I discussed not only with the nurse, but also with front desk that the hygiene level was very low indeed. In a private facility this is a disgrace. Further, I found that any details given on a prior visit had not updated onto the current registration form. While I came in after 6.30 pm, i have seen the awful queues for registration at earlier times. Your reception person was on his own and was also on his own on the prior visit, and the paperwork took far too long. You need more than one person on the front desk. Overall, the clinic is poor.

Dr. Siddika is very professional, friendly, kind. Throughout the process from initial consultation to operational procedure, she is extremely caring. I was very concern at the beginning as I have had quite bad experience in the past. Her patient explanation and kindness already made me felt half relieved during the consultation. My visit to see Dr Dominic Mort was informative and really helped me to understand a pretty rare occurrence. It confirmed my suspicions that what I was experiencing was not seizures, but a "Jaw Jerk", an involuntary biting action whilst asleep causing sometimes deep lacerations to my tongue and mouth. I was extremely happy with the consultation and forward plan. I would definitely recommend Dr Mort to anyone. He was professional, precise, caring and put both my husband and myself at ease straight away.
