I was diagnosed with bile duct cancer at my local hospital Broomfield, I was referred to the Royal Free Hospital under Mr David Nasralla on 11/09/2025. I saw Mr Nasralla in clinic. He explained my diagnosis in simple terms that I was able to understand along with simplified drawings. He agreed that I was a candidate for surgery and this was booked for the 29/09/2025, before I left clinic. My recovery and each step of my recovery was explained. I was contacted by the HBP team several times leading up to my operation which was such relief as all my questions were answered as they came along. I was admitted to hospital on 29/09/2025, where Mr Nasralla saw me to confirm that I still wanted to proceed with the operation. I awoke from my operation in ITU, Mr Nasralla come to see me and my partner to explain my procedure and to oversee my treatment. Mr Nasralla was understanding, very thorough and completely supportive to my care plan. During my stay in the Royal Free Hospital under Mr Nasralla he came to see me several times and his team who came on the ward rounds were also in contact with him. I cannot speak highly enough of the treatment and support I was given by Mr David Nasralla and his team. My treatment has been outstanding both while in hospital and during the last four weeks at home. Mr Nasralla has followed up on my recovery and care plan with total commitment to my recovery. There have been times when I have been worried and unsure, I have been met with total understanding and compassion, with clear empathy. I can say I completely trust Mr Nasralla and his team, who went beyond patient care. I would like to thank Mr Nasralla and his amazing team, which includes the CNS nurses and all the staff who smoothly booked my appointments. My last appointment with Mr Nasralla was on 06/11/2025, his approach to my next step to recovery was explained in full and in terms I understood. Mr Nasralla gave me the email address of his team should I need to contact them. I cannot explain how this has helped me, to know that they are still there should I need to reach out to them. There are not enough praises to reflect the outstanding care and support I have received. I am eternally grateful to Mr Nasralla & his team, without whom I would not be able to write this review.

This was the first of 2 visits for cataracts surgery. I was a bit apprehensive but was well assured when getting into the clinic to have the surgery done. I was met by the receptionist Jen who was very friendly and made me feel welcome. I was then only waiting a very short time and called in by Sarah who booked me in. Sarah was very professional and made sure I was at ease with the process and knew everything that was going to happen. Had all my eye drops and waited to have the surgery. Was taken to a room to wait and was met by Mr Woodcock who was performing the surgery and also Hannah and Amy, who were all very friendly and made me feel comfortable. Nothing felt rushed and it was all very professional and extremely clean. The surgery was so quick and I felt comfortable throughout the whole process. I then was handed over to Manshi, who sat me down with a nice cup of tea and a biscuit which was perfect. Everything was explained ie the next process of aftercare and left with my goodie bag full of paperwork and drops. It was a quick efficient service and in all honesty it was like going to a posh spa with the best customer service. I am due to have my other eye done and I am 200% happier that I know it will all be good and have no worries. Great team, great place.

The Spire Wellesley is a quiet calm hospital. The facilities are always clean and well cared for, the staff attentive and pleasant. You can expect the path of your time with them to be fully and clearly explained and information of who will attend you, when and for what reason. You are prepared as soon as you arrive and surgery follows swiftly, which leaves you very little time to overthink or get anxious. I was never left worried, every member of staff introduced themselves and did whatever was necessary to reassure me and provide whatever was needed. It was all very quick and over before I knew it, for which I am grateful. You certainly will not be left hungry or thirsty, food is excellent, the selection is wide. My stay was relatively short, my surgery went well, my recovery and activity level after surgery good and whilst I could have stayed a 2nd night I was allowed to go home as there were no concerns. So I was on for a little over 24hrs altogether.

I'm absolutely delighted with the outcome of my TKR. Prior to the op, walking had become excruciating. Now I don't even think about it and can walk everywhere, swim and exercise as much as I want. Thinking back, my initial recovery was slower and more painful than I had imagined (I'm not a patient person!) - despite Mr Brew being totally straightforward about this from the very beginning. All I can say now is that it was entirely worth it. My advice to anyone else would be to accept recovery may take time, to take painkillers regularly as advised, to follow exercise plans as rigorously as you can manage without overdoing it (and above all without comparing your progress to anyone else's!), and to try to enjoy the rest (films on iPad can be a great distraction!). In addition to the surgery itself, Mr Brew and the Yorkshire Clinic have been very supportive and encouraging. I couldn't have asked for a kinder and more professional approach.

An all round excellent experience. My appointment was arranged within a week, on arrival staff were very friendly and helpful. The consultant was very thorough in going through past medical history as well as ongoing symptoms. Found out a few issues that had never been picked up by my own GP practice, reassurance given, and appropriate follow up tests / procedures have been put in place. Some of my issues have been ongoing for almost five years, others possibly much longer. All medical information was explained to me in an easy to understand way. Overall, being able to find out all this in my first consultation is extremely reassuring and helpful. Without this private appointment, I would have had a very lengthy wait, i had been advised this previously by my own GP - several years or longer to be seen by respiratory medicine on the NHS. Very glad to have private medical insurance and able to get seen so quickly.

We had the pleasure to meet Dr Manjaly as the consultant surgeon who conducted a hearing implant (bone conduction) operation for our son. Our son was 15 years old at the time of the operation and had a magnetic Oticon Sentio implant to help him with his left single sided deafness. Dr Manjaly took great care of our son since the very first appointment at the NHS Royal ENT hospital. He explained everything about this type of hearing aid benefits, about the operation risks in a friendly, respectful, professional manner and was readily available when needed. Our son is very happy with the new Oticon Sentio mini, as he has already seen a significant improvement in his hearing and wears it most hours every day. It's also completely hidden underneath his relatively short hair which is a must have for any teenager.

We had an issue getting our newborn back to his birth weight and wasted over five weeks trying to follow conflicting advice from different specialists and consultants, while the situation didn’t improve one bit. One visit with Dr. Ed was enough to get a very tailored and effective protocol that finally helped the baby thrive and make improvements at record speed. While Dr. Abrahamson’s experience speaks for itself, in person we found his approach to be caring and very straightfoward and direct at the same time. Fit2function is the best physio clinic I have visited. As a sportsman, physio is an important part of my routine for both rehab and prehab. Many of the clinics I have attended don’t accommodate sports and return to play. My experience at Fit2function was great. I saw Harrison, who is an ex athlete and understood my needs well. The equipment is modern and top of the range, and the philosophy is very aligned to returning to sport and having the best possible outcome. I would highly recommend them.

The Spire has excellent facilities (car parking, waiting area, consulting rooms etc) and the reception staff are very attentive and helpful. The “formal check in” using an iPad is an unnecessary hurdle for patients to negotiate. The earlier system of just checking in with the receptionist was much better. My appointment with Dr. Balerdi was on time and a very useful session. Re. Dr. Balerdi himself, my very postive comments are in an earlier section.

I felt that he had gone to a lot of trouble to obtain them, as the right equipment was not available in outpatients so I had to be admitted for them to be done in theatre. I was relieved to be told that they did not show any signs of cancer. He was very empathetic and understanding of my problems, and has said I can come back to see him anytime, by contacting his secretary for an appointment.
