Dr Steven Mann

Dr Steven Mann is a gastroenterologist with a number of private practices as well as NHS appointment at Barnet Hospital in London. His work for the NHS includes both inpatient and outpatient care, endoscopy, and emergency medicine.

He has special interests in the following areas:

Dr. Mann gained his medical qualifications from the University of Manchester before undertaking postgraduate studies at North London hospitals. He also spent time in research at St. Mark's Hospital, where he worked for three years, looking at the immunology of Crohn's disease.

He was appointed to his current NHS role in 2003 and is the endoscopy training lead as well as the trust lead for clinical nutrition and inflammatory bowel diseases. He also oversees several postgraduate trainees.

His professional memberships include the American Gastroenterology Association, the Royal College of Physicians, the British Society of Gastroenterology, and the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
