Dr Rapti Mediwake is a very experienced Consultant Rheumatologist and General Physician. Her NHS base is Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust based at Barnet. She also sees patients at:

Disclaimer! What you are about to read may sound like an exaggeration but I assure you, it is not. This review is also about my whole experience with Dr Mediwake - not just my last one. I started this journey and met Dr Mediwake in 2020 (not Covid related) and she literally saved my life and has walked with me every step of the way. Dr Mediwake actually listens when you highlight and seek to contribute to the care being provide and she works with you to find the best outcome. She has always been firm but kind. She has remained consistent in all the time she has been on my case. Dr Mediwake is brilliant and you are in safe hands because it is apparent she is knowledgable. For appointments I have come in, despondent, she noticed without me saying a word and sought help for me. I have no doubt in my mind that my life would look very different if she was not on rotation on the day I was admitted and I will always remain grateful. Every visit is as described above. Thank you again!
I found Dr Mediwake to be extremely knowledgable and experienced in helping with my back and hip related problems. Although she had not the opprotunity to review my test results in advance she was still able to diagnose my symptoms and remedial action.
Dr Mediwake has always been excellent both in direct support and in encouraging others to provide the treatment the are responsible for.
Dr Mediwake is a brilliant clinician. I really appreciate her proactivity in organising the imaging necessary to help me. I trust her completely and her knowledge is very much appreciated. Cannot recommend her highly enough.

I was recommended to see Dr Mediwake for ongoing symptoms I had been experiencing. She meticulously made note of my issues and subsequently referred me for further investigations, as a process of elimination, whilst at every juncture explaining her reasons. The whole experience, to date, has been very reassuring going forward.
Dr Mediwake is engaged, helpful and knowledgeable. She reads the notes and interacts with the patient, and the patient’s needs and problems. We are very happy to have found her.
