Our facilities combined with the latest onsite imaging and diagnostic technology enable our consultants to undertake a wide range of procedures, from routine investigations to complex surgery. Some of the main private treatments offered at Albyn Hospital include Orthopaedic Surgery, Eye Surgery, One Stop Breast Clinic Service, Gynaecology, General Surgery and Gastroenterology.
This specialist expertise is supported by an experienced multi-disciplinary team of professionals, with dedicated private nursing teams and Resident Medical Officers on duty 24 hours a day, providing care within a friendly and comfortable environment.
Patients can access our services through private medical insurance or by self-paying. Those with private medical insurance should check their policy details with their provider prior to attending any appointments.
We accept referrals from GPs, Optometrists, Physiotherapists and other Registered Consultants. Patients can also self-refer to most of our services and book an initial consultation online with a Consultant of your choice.

I was treated and cared for by a very efficient and smooth running team.
It was a painless operation carried out under local anaesthetic. The operation took around 2 hours. I had two operations around three months apart and now have full use of both hands
I was a bit apprehensive about the whole procedure but everyone I met at Albyn couldn’t have been friendlier
I like to commend the entire hospital team for the excellent care I received. From the ward nurses to the theatre nurse and anaesthetist, every member of staff was exceptionally kind, professional, and supportive. They consistently showed empathy, compassion, and genuine concern for my wellbeing, helping to put me at ease throughout my treatment.
Treated very well during my day case, all staff very professional and I was well looked after, faultless experience.
Very happy with everything. For what could have been a traumatic experience everyone made it a very simple and straightforward process
