Had a fantastic experience, Nothing was too much of an issue from start to finish.

This is the 2nd THR operation Mr Hamilton has performed on me, as well as a partial knee replacement. On all 3 occasions, Mr Hamilton has explained the process very succinctly and every operation has been a complete success, a testament to his undoubted skill. Mr Hamilton kept in touch with me through the surgical process and for the time afterwards prior to discharge & has been both affable and professional throughout. He also explained how the operations had gone when I was back for a further meeting some weeks after the operation, where he showed me the pre & post op x-rays, and explained the make-up of the new joints. The Albyn Hospital staff and facilities are 2nd to none, & I would heartily recommend anyone to use this facility in future. Indeed I have recommended both the Albyn & Mr Hamilton to a close friend of mine who believes a hip replacement may be necessary for him in the not too distant future.

From the very first consultation to the operation eight weeks later, and through the follow-up afterward, Mr. Hamilton puts you completely at ease with his friendly manner, clear explanations, and fantastic sense of humor. He outlined the three options available during the initial consultation, and I chose the Mako robotic-assisted partial knee replacement, having had a successful experience with the same procedure on my other knee five years earlier at the same hospital by another equally skilled surgeon. I can’t thank Mr. Hamilton and his team enough—they’re a true credit to their profession.

In my recollection I had never had an operation before so naturally I was a little anxious about having surgery. Mr Steven Hamilton was very professional but also very friendly and immediately put me at ease. He clearly explained the whole process, the operation and recovery. He also included the Anaesthetist, DrJohn Reid, and they jointly discussed the options available to me and my wife. Having experienced surgery and undergoing rehab I realise that my anxious concerns were unfounded and would not hesitate to recommend Mr Steven Hamilton to others if asked.
