Mr Dalgleish was excellent and I would recommend him to all my friends
Always a positive experience. Clear and to the point. Very happy.
Approachable, knowledgeable and put me at ease with initial consultation, during surgery and post operation check up.
Mr Dalgleish was friendly professional and did my knee aided by the robot fabulous outcome now pain free
Had a total hip replacement, doctor Dalgleish explained the process, and the recovery procedures and made himself available for any further questions
Very good, everyone was super helpful and good to speak with
Mt Dalglish is exceptional. The quality of the care he provides is outstanding and his manner is both reassuring and thoughtful.
I am confident in the surgeon's skills and people management.
Mr Dalgleish was professional, friendly and approachable and made sure I was fully informed of what to expect during and after my treatment, and what I could do to maximise my recovery. He allowed me plenty of time to ask all the questions I wanted to, and I never felt rushed or that he wanted to move me on. He was very patient and ensured I was happy throughout the process and I cannot recommend him highly enough. And of course I am more than happy with my recovery from the surgery and has been much easier and quicker than I expected.
As far as my surgery and anaesthetic I could not fault anything ! Everything was professionally explained and my expectations were met .i was treated with great respect and kindness . However post op … whilst the nursing care I received was very good … i I would have benefitted more from patient centred pain relief requirements .. Rather than staff following a general protocol . I may be in minority re my pain threshold being fairly high … In spite of me telling staff I was not in pain .. I felt huge pressure to take medication when I didn’t require it .. unfortunately it didn’t agree with me and I felt unwell .. So my thoughts are perhaps discuss with patient prior to surgery how they are with pain and their preference … discuss protocol and come to compromise .. along with other methods other than meds … or that could be used in conjunction .
Stephen is a wonderful surgeon and a genuinely lovely person. He is a leader in the field of knee surgery, and his international training has enabled him to develop skills that go well beyond those of most orthopaedic surgeons.
