Referred via MSK. I did not want a surgical opinion but was persuaded as it was suggested that other options may be available. With reference to the consultation, dismissive of symptoms and inaccuracies with scan? Was reviewing a scan from 2018 not 2024. Felt patronised and humiliated by general attitude. Was not interested in symptoms or effects on daily life. Summary letter sent to myself and GP reflected the above. Interestingly letter had wrong address and I was referred to by the wrong name in the letter? As an NHS staff nurse I feel sorry that this kind of poor service exists.

I recently had a very good experience during my visit to Dr Ibrahim. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me warmly and made me feel welcome. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, which helped ease any initial nerves I had. When I met with Dr. Ibrahim, he listened attentively to my concerns and took the time to address each one thoroughly. He explained everything in a clear and understandable manner, which helped me feel reassured and empowered about my health. Dr Ibrahim didn't rush through the appointment and made sure I felt heard and understood every step of the way. Mr Mendoza, Was Very Knowledge and reassuring, he provided a through review of the MRI and I left feeling happier that my headaches were not a result of the concerns i had Also, appreciating that the headaches were still causing me distress, Mr Mendoza advised he would advise that further referral would be beneficial

I didn’t leave feeling as though my health issue was any further forward in being diagnosed or treated. I was told I had an enlarged artery and a second opinion would be required - creases chance of stroke. This was several months ago and heard nothing despite asking twice by email what the follow up was. I waited several months for the appointment in the first place, delayed because the referral had been ‘forgotten about’.

Mr Akram made me feel at ease and explained in detail the options I have in the future. He answered all my questions and gave me confidence in his skills and ability. .This was followed up by a comprehensive letter from him received quickly after my appointment which confirmed everything I had spoken about.
