Thank you very much for your kind review!
Mr Akram made me feel at ease and explained in detail the options I have in the future. He answered all my questions and gave me confidence in his skills and ability. .This was followed up by a comprehensive letter from him received quickly after my appointment which confirmed everything I had spoken about.

Thank you very much for your kind words and feedback. I really appreciate it and I am glad I was able to help.
When I first arrived at the National hospital for neurology and neuro surgery I was in tremendous pain suffering with trigeminal neuralgia for over 2 years. I could barely eat anything and could not talk with my family and friends, I was losing weight and was becoming depressed. However on meeting Dr Akram he discussed with me what he would do to help relieve me from the pain and on the day I had the surgery I remember waking up and feeling hardly any pain, I even managed to eat a chocolate not to long after. Thank you so much dr Akram merry Christmas and god bless you.Xx

Thank you so much for a lovely review. I was so happy to see you in clinic smiling and taking! Chronic Pain is a horrible thing and nobody deserves to be in pain. So glad I could help! Happy Christmas to you too :)
On meeting Mr Akram I was totally reassured by his diagnostic ability. His follow up letter can to me via mycare of which I was oblivious and therefore did not see it for several days. The treatment injection needed seemed to be out of his hands but I finally have secured an appt today but only I suspect after Sharon Sulley’s intervention.

Thank you very much for the useful feedback. I can only but apologise for admin delays that are sometimes out of my hand especially when running a busy service. I will pass on your feedback to the neuroradiology booking team to ensure these issues are resolved as soon as possible
I found Mr Akram to be kind, generous, considerate and thorough. We spent a good deal of time discussing not only my health history but also on a personal basis, which I believe gave him a full understanding of my lifestyle and health situation. After a comprehensive examination he recommended I have an MRI, and went personally to the imaging centre to ensure I could get an appointment that evening.
I would highly recommend Mr Harith Akram, an excellent Consultant Neurosurgeon with specialist expertise in functional and complex neurosurgical conditions. He combines outstanding technical skill with a calm, thoughtful, and evidence-based approach. His communication is clear and reassuring, and patients consistently feel well supported throughout their care.
