Mr Shabin Joshi

Mr Shabin Joshi currently works as a consultant neurosurgeon and spinal surgeon at the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. He trained at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, the Royal Hospital of St Bartholomew and the Royal London Hospitals as a specialist registrar. Following on from this, he completed a neurosurgery fellowship at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

Mr Joshi specialises in spinal surgery in particular minimally invasive techniques, including keyhole spinal surgery. He trained in London in bone cement injections for spinal fractures caused by osteoporosis and spinal tumours, allowing pain relief and mobility. He is also competent in artificial disc replacement to prevent degeneration of adjacent spinal discs.

He established Central England Neurosurgery (CEN), which provides a greater understanding of the different brain and spinal surgeries and private consultancy. Additionally, he has published a variety of articles on brain tumours, spinal disorders and cranial operations.
