Miss Hala Selim

Miss Hala Selim is a Consultant Gynaecologist at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, with specialist expertise in the diagnosis and management of benign gynaecological conditions. She holds an MB BCh and MS, is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), and has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Specialist Gynaecologic Ultrasound Practice from King’s College London.

Miss Selim has completed advanced training in both open and laparoscopic benign gynaecological surgery. Her clinical interests include menstrual disorders, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), fibroids, pelvic pain, and perimenopausal health. She also integrates gynaecological ultrasound imaging into her consultations to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

She offers a range of outpatient and surgical treatments, including hysteroscopy, hysteroscopic surgery, endometrial ablation, laparoscopy, and ovarian cystectomy.

Known for her thorough, compassionate approach, Miss Selim provides high-quality, patient-centred care with a strong focus on minimally invasive techniques and personalised treatment plans.
