Throughout my training, I have developed a keen interest in all aspects of gynaecology both routine and sub-specialised. I have had the good fortune to work with a number of extremely skilled gynaecological surgeons who in turn have encouraged me to develop my own skills to a high standard. In addition to the routine gynaecological surgery, I perform both laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery to treat various gynaecological conditions such as ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids and menstrual dysfunction.

My aim, where possible to perform gynaecological surgery using a minimal access approach to maximise the surgical outcome and minimise patient morbidity. 90% of my hysterectomies are performed either vaginally or as a laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy.

I am accredited in gynaecological ultrasound both abdominal and vaginal. I routinely use gynaecological ultrasound in my outpatient consultations which results in quicker diagnosis and higher patient satisfaction.

I am also accredited in both diagnostic and therapeutic colposcopy. I believe in one stop diagnosis and treatment for patients with abnormal smears. In my experience, this is very reassuring for the patient.
