I got an appointment the same day which was important as it was to do with temporary hearing loss which had occurred for 9 days. Upon arrival, the receptionist offered me a glass of water which was welcomed (perfect for a hot day!) and I was seen soon after my appointment time. Doctor Grundy-Wheeler was very thorough and immediately worked out the issue and I left post-treatment with hearing in my left ear having not been able to hear properly out of it for over a week so I was elated! He was engaging, professional and very informative and treats his patients with real care. I also bumped into Dr Scott (who I have seen for HRT many times) who was also friendly and warm and it was overall a super and successful visit. EPD make it easy to not only get seen quickly but they all work hard to provide a kind, professional, super clean and lovely environment to make their patients well again, no matter the issue. Thank you to the entire EPD team. I walked out very happy!

I first contacted Prof Frampton regarding an umbilical hernia that developed after my gall bladder removal surgery ten years ago. Despite being about to leave for holiday, he returned my missed call the same day, discussed my case over the phone, and arranged a prompt pre op assessment and surgery date through his secretary. His explanation of the condition, the surgical plan, risks, and recovery was clear and reassuring. The operation on 13 June went smoothly, and although I experienced significant bruising afterwards, Prof Frampton was exceptionally responsive, answering calls and emails immediately and guiding me through the post operative phase. At my two week review I was already feeling much better, with only some expected swelling remaining. Overall, Prof Frampton has been attentive, thorough, and supportive throughout, and I felt very well cared for from the first interaction to recovery.

I had a laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair at Nuffield Health Parkside Hospital, and my experience was excellent from start to finish. The reception staff, nurses, anaesthetist, theatre team and everyone involved were kind, professional and reassuring throughout my stay. The hospital was very clean, well organised and comfortable. I felt well informed before my surgery and received clear discharge instructions afterwards. Even though I am still recovering, I am grateful for the high standard of care I received. Thank you to the entire team for making what could have been a stressful experience much easier. I would confidently recommend Nuffield Health Parkside Hospital to anyone requiring surgical treatment.

It’s hard to write a review for a place that saved your life. But I can tell you the facts. I was days away from death after drinking myself into oblivion night after night, living at my parents house, jobless and friendless. It’s been 8 months since I left and I’m starting a course in september, I’m working and I have my own flat. This was all made entirely possible through the help I got and continue to get at Abbington House. I still keep in daily contact with the people I met there and wake up every day so grateful that I get to live my life. Had successful TURP operation in March carried out by Mr Raja which went very smoothly with an excellent end result. During the whole process from initial diagnosis to today's review I have found Mr Raja to be very friendly and patient explaining everything clearly and taking time to listen to any problems that you may have. On today's review Mr Raja discovered that my urine was carrying a high bacterial flora so he has arranged a course of antibiotics combined with a kidney scan to check everything is satisfactory before I am finally discharged I don't consider that you could find better attention

Kirk diagnosed the issue I was having, provided immediate treatment and gave me clearly described follow up exercises to do every day. The immediate treatment provided instant relief, and the follow up exercises resolved the problem completely. After a follow up we confirmed a set of regular exercises to do as a preventative measure against reoccurrence, and these have been effective. This is the type of efficient and effective treatment that Kirk has helped me with for a number of issues, he has been great each time.

My meeting with Mr Balfour was very helpful and informative. His explanations on my condition were clear and gave me peace of mind by ruling out possibly more serious conditions. The next steps were also clear and I will look to follow up on these in the near future. He also said he would give me some throat exercises that I can do, however I am yet to receive these. This is the only reason that I have rated my experience 4* rather than 5* as otherwise I have been very pleased with my consultation.

Excellent service - Dr Lancer was helpful and put my mind at ease. Just had difficulty booking appointments as secretary & doctor were often on annual leave or away from desk, had to wait a week for an appointment for MRI results which was stressful - maybe telephone appointments would be an ide. Booking appointments then became difficult as the secretary has to ring and book the appointment elsewhere and then come back to you - a shared system would make more sense

We went to see Dr Bajaj as we were (wrongly) under the belief that our child is showing signs of autism. Dr Bajaj dedicated good enough time to listen to our concerns, asked all the right questions and examined our baby and finally put our mind at ease with her expert advice. One lesson learnt for us and all parents is, do NOT judge your child’s behaviour based on random social media videos or AI and instead seek a professional advice, it’s well worth it.

Overall i was very pleased with the professionalism of Mr Maan and the support of the nursing team. I would only add that upon my initial discharge which was 24 hours after the operation there was a handover of staff after reinsertion of the catheter and my wife and I felt we were given a crash course in catheter management which all felt very rushed!

I have made two visits to remove seborrhoeic keratoses and also a mole on the side of my nose. This has all been achieved successfully and especially the mole on my nose which leaves no visible mark at all now. I had no idea it was so straightforward to achieve this. These seborrhoeic keratoses are a nuisance and it is nice to be without them.
