An exceptional doctor and a true asset to the NHS! I honestly cannot express how grateful I am to have had Mr Michael Wong as my doctor throughout my fibroid journey. He is truly an asset to the NHS and an example of what every healthcare professional should aspire to be. From my very first consultation, through to the day of my surgery and my follow-up appointment, he has been nothing short of exceptional. His kindness, professionalism, compassion and reassuring manner made such a difference during what was, at times, a very worrying experience for me. Before my surgery, he took the time to explain everything clearly, answer my questions and make sure I felt comfortable and reassured. My keyhole surgery turned out to be far more complex and lengthy than initially anticipated, but he went above and beyond to ensure that all my fibroids were successfully removed. I will forever be grateful for his dedication and expertise. Today, I attended my follow-up appointment, and once again, I was reminded of just how wonderful he is. He took his time to explain my scan findings in detail, discuss my recovery and future plans, and ensure that all my questions were answered. At no point did I feel rushed. I felt genuinely listened to, respected and cared for. As a dentist myself, I understand just how important it is to make patients feel safe, comfortable and heard. Clinical expertise is incredibly important, but the ability to combine that with genuine empathy and compassion is what makes a truly exceptional clinician. Mr Wang embodies all of these qualities. I cannot recommend him highly enough to anyone dealing with fibroids or other gynaecological concerns. He is not only an incredibly skilled surgeon but also a genuinely kind and compassionate human being. Thank you, Mr Wong, for everything you have done for me. The NHS is incredibly fortunate to have you, and I feel equally fortunate to have been under your care.

I recently had surgery at Spire Hartswood Hospital, and I was extremely impressed with the excellent care I received throughout my stay. From the moment I arrived, every member of staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. The hospital has a very patient-focused approach, and I always felt that my comfort, wellbeing, and recovery were their top priorities. The facilities were outstanding, particularly the cleanliness of the hospital. Everything was maintained to an exceptionally high standard, creating a comfortable and reassuring environment. I especially appreciated having my own private room with an en-suite bathroom, which provided both privacy and comfort during my recovery. The nursing and support staff were wonderful. They regularly checked on me, ensured I was comfortable, and took the time to answer any questions I had. I never felt rushed and was very impressed by the attention they gave to my care. They made sure I was fully rested, comfortable, and recovering well before I was discharged. My overall experience at Spire Hartswood Hospital was excellent, and I would not hesitate to recommend the hospital to others. The combination of outstanding facilities, exceptional cleanliness, and the professionalism and compassion of the staff made a real difference to my experience. I would definitely choose Spire Hartswood Hospital again should the opportunity arise in the future.

I had such a positive experience with Dr Kapoor this week and genuinely couldn’t recommend him enough. From the moment I met him, he was warm, jovial and incredibly personable. What stood out to me most was how human his approach was. He took the time to really listen to everything I’d been experiencing, asked thoughtful questions and explained everything clearly without ever making me feel rushed or dismissed. He talked me through several options, made sure I understood them and was genuinely supportive throughout. He also arranged investigations straight away, which was incredibly reassuring after what had already been quite a stressful few weeks. It’s not often you come away from a medical appointment feeling so listened to, reassured and confident in the care you’ve received. Dr Kapoor managed to make the whole experience feel both professional and genuinely personal, with a lovely sense of humour along the way. I can’t thank Professor Patel enough. I had a torrid couple of years with intermittent vocal issues that I could not get an answer or solution for with other medical professionals. This was causing me a great deal of distress and had a huge negative impact on my day-to-day life. I've had a Morton's neuroma in my right foot for many years. Over these years injections have helped, but more recently they were not giving relief. Apart from the extreme burning pain when walking, I was not steady on that foot, and at 80 years old I was anxious of falling over. I was very grateful when Mr O'Neill suggested a procedure to remove the Morton's neuroma. The operation has been successful. Mr O'Neill advised me that there were actually two Morton's neuromas in that foot, so no surprise that I am now pain free, and perhaps more importantly, walking safer without fear of that foot 'giving way' and me falling over.
