Seeing Ms Lee was a completely different experience. She was calm, reassuring, incredibly knowledgeable, and explained everything so clearly that I finally understood what was happening. She took the time to listen, answered every one of my questions thoroughly, and immediately gave me confidence that I was in the right hands. It was obvious from the moment I met her that she genuinely cared and had an exceptional understanding of my condition. For the first time, I left an appointment feeling reassured, with a clear diagnosis, a treatment plan, and real hope that my eyes could finally improve. She was so helpful throughout the entire appointment, and I genuinely felt listened to and cared for. I am returning to see Ms Lee again in September to review my progress, and I couldn’t be happier that she will be continuing my care. I honestly can’t thank her enough for everything she has done. She is an outstanding doctor, a credit to her profession, and I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for an ophthalmologist.

I had my blepharoplasty procedure at St John’s & St Elizabeth Hospital, and my experience was excellent from start to finish. The hospital is exceptionally clean, well- organised, and welcoming, creating a calm and reassuring environment on the day of surgery. Every member of staff I encountered was professional, kind, and attentive. The nursing team provided outstanding care, ensuring I was comfortable and well- informed throughout my stay. I felt genuinely looked after, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The facilities were of a very high standard, and the entire process was smooth and efficient. From admission through to discharge, everything was handled with great care and professionalism. I recently saw Mr Ibrahim at the London Clinic for an urgent endoscopic lumbar discectomy. I was in extreme pain and had lost movement in my foot and leg because of a prolapsed lumbar disc. I was referred to Mr Ibrahim on the Monday, saw him on the Tuesday and was in surgery on the Thursday. I was incredibly thankful that The London Clinic fitted me in for MRIs, pre-operative tests and surgery at such short notice. The surgery was nothing short of a miracle, I woke up having regained movement in my leg and foot and finally out of extreme pain. All the staff I encountered at The London Clinic were nothing short of fantastic. They were incredibly attentive and professional, I genuinely felt everyone I met really cared about doing their best job and I felt very looked after and supported. I’ve been telling everyone I’ve spoken to since how fantastic this Hopsital is!

Having arrived for my appointment on my own, which is something I never do. I was put at ease by the welcoming staff from my first interaction with reception staff, to HCA and nurses and then my consultant. Everyone made sure I was at ease and that I fully understood the procedure I was going to be having. The nurses in the operating room were friendly, attentive. We got into some small talk to distract me from the discomfort I was feeling and one even coached me through it. After care was excellent and I was even offered a cup of tea to help with feeling unsteady on my feet. They allowed me to take my time to gather my thoughts before feeling comfortable leaving.

Sarah Lawson is a very experienced sports physio, determined to help you to not only get better, but also back to whatever sport you enjoyed before the injury. In my case she was determined to get me back on skis. I had to have numerous operations on the same knee before I could even have the ACL repaired. There were times I felt like giving up but Sarah kept me positive and working through exercises I thought I wouldn’t be able to do , Throughout the long recovery she was patient and encouraging but also knew exactly how much to push me to get me to through those exercises . And I did get back on skis ! Thank you Sarah !

I was very fortunate to have had my surgery performed at Shirley Oaks Hospital, by Mr Jignesh Patel. I can’t thank Mr Patel enough for his great explanation of the procedure. His upbeat and positive attitude on the day of surgery. I am normally an anxious person, however Mr Patel put my mind at ease to the point I was excited to get it done! Mr Patel said he would look after me and he definitely stuck to his word. He did an amazing job on my knee, I am truly grateful for my amazing experience. I went after getting ankle-ligament ruptured and got treated by Tom as an ostheopath. I had seen some specialists for 2 months before and nothing happened. I went to see Tom and he has been very patient, as he walked me through the healing process gradually. He helped me gaining confidence throughout adapted exercices for my injury. He has been very professional. He also did some manual manipulation that were very helpful, especially as my Achille tendons were very tensed. Thank you again ! I can go back to basketball just 3 months after a ligament-rupture - a miracle !

He explained the results and diagnosis extremely patiently and clearly, really helping me understand the condition fully. Dr shaw combines expertise with empathy and understanding. He even took the time to help me find a specialist neuro physiotherapist for ongoing rehabilitation. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Shaw for anyone with a vestibular disorder. He is simply brilliant.

First time at ESP Physio and I was immediately put at ease. Great first impressions of the clinic extended to the appearance and upkeep of the equipment. Scott explained everything in detail and made sure I was comfortable as we assessed and then treated my injury. He made sure each manipulation was explained and that I wasn’t in excessive pain or any distress. He clearly demonstrated the exercises I was to complete at home which was followed up by email. Highly recommended.
