Mr Banim did my right total hip replacement on the 24th November 2025. From the initial appointment until my follow up appointment at 6 weeks the service he provided has been exemplary. All procedures were explained to me before they were carried out and I was given lots of opportunities to ask questions. My right leg used to turn out (as far as 3 on a clock). Immediately after the surgery my leg and foot was back in the midline and all pre operative symptoms were resolved. The care I received by all members of the Nuffield team (Chester), including admin staff, catering staff, nurses, doctors and physiotherapists was of the highest standard and I felt safe and cared for at all times. Thank you all. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Banim as an excellent orthopaedic surgeon and the Nuffield team as an whole for the great job they are doing. I will be back for my left hip done (hopefully not for a while yet!). Thanks again.

My PSA had been creeping up for several years. By December 2024 it was 6.2 and a scan showed a tumour close to the edge of my prostate. Marc Laniado recommended a day case procedure (nanoknife) and I had this in January 2025. Twelve months later, in January 2026, my PSA is 0.3 and a scan shows no evidence of cancer. Marc is one of the most professional people I have met - everything is explained patiently and thoroughly, he is available at short notice to talk through any concerns/answer any questions, appointments are on time and his follow-up letters come the same day and clearly explain what he has done and the next steps. I would like to thank Marc Laniado and the highly efficient team he works with for the outstanding care I received - anyone of any age (I'm 82) concerned about their prostate would benefit from a​ consultation with him.

Mr Dheerendra could not have been more professional, appropriately friendly and always explained everything so I could understand what he was going to do .He was exceptionally helpful in securing a hospital place where I would be accepted for the operation I needed. (Other medical conditions had made this a difficulty in the hospital of my first choice.) He was an excellent surgeon, my recovery has been very good, he took extra time to make 3 additional visits when I was in hospital to ensure that the wound was healing properly. He was very good at listening to me, both in terms of my current problems and in terms of my expectations for recovery. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone, both for his skills as a surgeon and for his ability to communicate with his patient

Met Mr Amer at Washington Clinic . He was warmly welcoming despite having had a very busy day up to that point. We discussed the background to my appointment , which was a very effective way of getting to understand a bit about each other as well as the medical details. Very clear explanation also using some video to show what procedures would entail . Good clear summary of the various risks involved . I came away from the appointment very confident in Mr Amer and with a clear plan for treatment which hopefully can be done quickly to fit in with other things I'm doing . Faultless .

My son had a surgical extraction and the procedure was very calm and relaxed for him. I was able to be there too, so I watched the whole procedure and was very impressed at how clean the procedure was, resulting in a positive experience and successful extraction, ahead of upcoming orthodontic work. Waiting times weren't too long, although for private treatment we had hoped to be seen a little sooner than we were. The practice staff were friendly and very welcoming and high standards were evident throughout, in terms of hygiene and care. My son has no pain and is recovering well.

I had booked a vitamin infusion. The whole experience was a desaster. The nurses used several needles but were not able to “find a good Vene” as they called it. They said my venes are the problem which is ridiculous as I had been to your place to get infusions multiple times and there never was a problem. As a result, I now have three large bruises and my arms hurt. I left without getting the infusion. The ladies did not even apologize. In my view, they should get proper training both when it comes to doing injections and servicing clients. I will not return.

It is a very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Each patient (and accompanying person) seemed to have a good interaction with the staff. There was a good discussion with Mr. Smith on the situation with respect to the eyes and possible treatments which may also need to be done elsewhere. He listened to my comments and questions and responded in a clear way. During the treatment care was taken to warn me of any possible pressure on the face, but Mr. Smith has a light touch so there was never any problem. All three treatments in 2025 were done very well.

When undertaking base line assessment prior to the procedure, this was conducted in the reception area. During this taking place, 3 other people arrived and seated themselves in the reception area. We were unclear if they were members of the public, staff or other appointments. They were not introduced to us as observers for my treatment. The introduction didn't occur until Prof Zveorov arrived, then introductions were made and my family was made aware they were from other institutions to learn and observe. The support and treatment were excellent.

I was an NHS patient of Dr Barnes approximately ten years ago. My experience then and now has not changed. He does not just listen; he hears what you are saying and talks to you as an equal. He has a caring disposition. Dr Barnes asks questions that go beyond the presenting issues. I know he will do his best to find a solution to alleviate my symptoms. I have recommended Dr Barnes to others in the past and would have no hesitation in recommending him in his current role.

Transfered to Clarytin after disappointing time with NHS awaiting time for appointment for cataract removal. Very pleased with Clarity who saw me very shortly after referral and operated on a week later. I was going to wait for the next operation on the NHS on the 4th February but when that was moved to sometime in April, I took the next available appt on January 20th for a private operation. Both private experiences have been a pleasure and very good.

Mr Kempshall recommended a full custom made knee replacement as I was suffering severe arthritis in the kneecap, and was in constant pain. He was extremely approachable, knowledgeable and professional. I have been extremely pleased with my progress (6 weeks in), which I’m sure was aided by the ice home rehab system he recommended. I would not hesitate to recommend him, and if I have any further issues with my knees I will certainly return.

The only area for improvement is the check-in process - quite often there is a queue of people waiting at reception and the vehicle registration screen is separate to the check-in form, which isn't very efficient. The waiting area and exam rooms are clean and tidy, the staff is friendly and helpful. I prefer coming here despite it being a longer drive than my nearest private hospital because of the great experience I've had previously.

Consultation with Dr Alice Thomas. Parking was easy Welcomed by lovely receptionist who immediately offered me a tea Met Dr Alice who immediately felt 'and relax'! Instant reassuring and lovely energy. Thoroughly talked through blood results. No rushing. We had time and I felt more me walking out of the practice than I had for weeks for speaking to someone who listened and clearly understands what we all go through with our hormones.

Delightful! Mr Hariharan has got a very good reputation and I could not recommend him highly enough. He is personable, empathetic and kind. He explains everything that needs to be explained in a clear and concise manner. I have met many consultants over the last few years who were nice and not so nice - Mr Hariharan is up there as one of the nicest. Excellent bedside manner!
