Having been to several medical professionals in my life, I can honestly say the care provided by Dr Katie Cowie is exceptional. She has a great bedside manner, there is no judgement and she is, very knowledgable and understanding. Personably speaking, I would now always consult her on my journey through peri-menopause and beyond. She is well worth the cost for such excellent one to one care. I also see her for weight loss and again, for anyone contemplating medical assisted weight loss, I would always recommend going through someone like Dr Cowie. The assistance she provides with her vast knowledge on the subject is invaluable. I’m so grateful to have met her. and I recommend her to everyone I know going through any women’s health issues.

I spent hour and a quarter talking in detail about my symptoms as an adult and what I could remember from my childhood I was then told that whilst I reached the threshold for adult ADHD, I did not reach the threshold for childhood ADHD. I was told I did not have ADHD whilst showing some symptoms. We discussed for a further ten minutes about the fact that I had some difficulty understanding why I needed to reach the threshold for a neurodivergent condition as a child in order to receive some help as an adult with threshold symptoms. I accepted the findings with some disappointment that I was not going to get help but at least it was suggested that I return to my GP for a different referral

She reassured me of my concerns; and she made it very clear that although FND can be considered psychologically driven its physical impacts are real therefore it’s also falls under neurological conditions. I have decided to continue working with Dr Alina to deep dive and search for solutions to my problems. Alongside working with her direction to find support for the physical symptoms associated with this condition.

Dr Marco Spartera

I am traveling from the US and was so glad that Dr. Spartera had time to see me. He was very personable and clear in his explanations and obviously very knowledgeable. He was also sensitive to what worries I might have. Since we were traveling, he took the time to coordinate an echocardiogram that same afternoon, and we have scheduled a virtual follow-up. Dr Hodge - what a lovely man! My two children both had appointments and from the second we met him he had an approachable, kind vibe. He listened to the issues, and gave lots of clear information before allergy tests were carried out. His knowledge and presence really gave such a reassurance. He was also great with the kids who were quite wild after a 3 hour car journey to the appointment. I arrived an anxious mum and left completely relaxed and reassured after the appointment.

There were some tests I wanted to book and she explained they were not necessary, which I found thoughtful as it helped save on the expense. Her prices were very reasonable and she was able to advise on which venues were less expensive,l again saving money.

The 12-month or so wait time was out of Ravi’s hands and in fact the timing of the procedure worked well for me in the end due to it being right before the Christmas holidays. Everyone at Spire Wellesley was fab, even if my discharge at the end of the day took longer than expected it wasn’t a problem and I was really pleased with all the care and professionalism provided by everyone. Lovely and friendly staff. Only exception is that the printed prescription did not had a wet stamp as was about to collect medication, the pharmacy did not accept it and there was back and fro with this which eventually resolved. Overall good experience
