From the first moment I met Professor Ford I knew I was in great hands. He is so friendly and approachable. He immediately put me at ease. He explained what he would do for me in easy to understand language and I couldn’t wait for my incisional hernia repair. I didn’t have to wait long. I had my pre-op the following week and my operation at The Priory the week after that. The operation went amazingly well and all the staff were excellent and friendly too. I saw professor Ford again last night to have my surgical drain removed and find out what happens next. As it transpires my operation presented challenges that he rather enjoyed solving to my benefit. I feel great just one week since my operation. He has cautioned me to take care until 6 weeks has passed. I promised him I will.

I was an online client. My first day and many following days, a laptop was placed somewhere (usually with a very minimal view of part of the room) whilst people in the room had a conversation (often it was staff as other patients had left the room/ spent a lot of time waiting for groups to start/ group leaders). Group timings etc weren't stuck to or structured and there seemed no consistency. The hardest part was having to have an 'assessment' i.e. go through my life background in detail (including trauma) a total of 5 times with different members of staff. I'm sorry to say (and likely it's different in person) but there didn't seem to be any genuine care whatsoever. It was a waste of time for me attending here sadly.

I have recently had several small moles/skin tags removed from my face & would highly recommend. The procedure was completed so quickly & virtually pain free. The final results are just amazing & I felt calm & relaxed throughout. The salon is beautiful & spotlessly clean. I have never felt rushed & Dr Kathryn takes her time to listen to you. Everything was fine, except that no one is able to provide the invoice for the procedure and it is not acceptable. I need the invoice to claim the money back from my insurance, I have called twice emailed and I am still waiting. I don't understand why it is so difficult to get this invoice. It is a legal requirement to provide an invoice while a payment is made and service delivered. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if the amount was not that big, but we have paid £2995.00 on Sunday, and no invoice was provided...

Different time slots and sessions or more flexibility. Clearer communication between services and funders. Digital timetable, links and resources could benefit from being clearer/more easy to find. Mixed bag of staff, although the weaker ones did go quite quickly it still felt as though I was a bit of a guinea pig and didn't get as much from those sessions. Core team very caring, compassionate and supportive. Environment is an downside, a shared office building is not the best setting.

Went to see him with some genuine prostate concerns following an MRI Scan and left with a weight off my shoulders. Also a special mention to his PA Jennifer who went above and beyond to get me an earlier appointment and getting all the relevant information delivered to Dr. Barrass in time so that our appointment could be as productive as possible. 5 stars to both.
