From the moment I arrived, the experience was outstanding. The porter who greeted me, carried my bag, and personally showed me to my room set the tone for what would be a first-class stay. Every nurse and domestic staff member I encountered was warm, attentive, and professional—nothing was ever too much trouble. The care was seamless and deeply reassuring throughout. A special mention must go to the two physiotherapists who supported me post-surgery. Their expertise and kindness in helping with icing and fitting my sling made a huge difference in my recovery and comfort. They were brilliant. And the food? Absolutely fit for a king—beautifully prepared, delicious, and served with care. King Edward VII’s Hospital delivers excellence in every detail. I’m incredibly grateful for the experience and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone seeking world-class medical care.

My GP had arranged an emergency MRI check for me as a result of a recent head injury. My appointment time got changed three times. I was 10 minutes ahead of schedule to my appointment. The initial doctor visit was prompt and thorough. My MRI appointment was for 6:30 PM but I finally got going at 7:30 PM. An hour wait in a private hospital priding itself in quality of service is unacceptable. I had to repeatedly ask why there was a delay. Finally when I arrived at the MRI room I was told that there was an urgent patient who was put ahead of me taking my slot. All they had to do was to communicate this to me instead of the constant wait. I had to wait for another 15 minutes to remove the injection line placed in my vein and it only got removed when I threatened to leave with it!

From the outset his persona, knowledge and conviction reassured me of a successful outcome to a surgical solution. As an 80 year old I clearly had some significant concerns. I cannot speak highly enough about the care I received from Mr Srivastava and his team in The John Radcliffe Hospital for the successful repair to the two valves. Post operatively he visited me frequently and also kept my family informed of my progress. His commitment to my case was outstanding. During a recent post operative review he gave me the good news that I would be discharged from his care. I will forever be grateful to him and his team for making it possible to enjoy a good lifeD

This was my first visit to the hospital so I was a little apprehensive. I was very impressed by the cleanliness and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and polite. Dr Hlaing was amazing. Having spoken to two GP's regarding my hair loss prior to my consultation, I was left feeling that there was very little they could do to help me. Dr Hlaing listened to me, offered a wide range of options that were available which made me feel optimistic. She was supportive, and basically couldn't do enough for me. I left the hospital a new person, full of hope for the future even though I have to play my part, life looks happy again. Thank you so much

I recently visited Newmedica, Worcester for an assignment after which they offered me next day surgery as they'd had a cancellation. I found all the staff right from reception to nursing to doctors, were warm, welcoming and excellent, each and every staff member I met at Worcester were absolutely wonderful, from the moment I arrived to the moment they discharged me. I can't recommend them highly enough. The waiting room was pleasant, there was thoughtful touches such as complementary drinks available, the clinic is modern and clean. If anyone needs cataract surgery like I had go to Newmedica Worcester.

I recently saw Mr Aylott at his 'one-stop' clinic for my chronic lower back pain and stiffness. After having an MRI scan, Mr Aylott discussed the findings in detail and reassured me that my pain/stiffness would not get any worse and that it was still ok to exercise (within reason). Mr Aylott also gave me the option of having an injection if I felt I needed it. This made me feel a lot more relaxed knowing that I have another route to try if physiotherapy does not work. The 'one stop' procedure was very efficient and Mr Aylott very thorough. I would highly recommend.

I had a total right hip replacement on the 18th September 2025 and I am very pleased with the results. Mr Thakur explained the whole procedure to me, and answered all my questions. He came and checked up on me later when I was back in my room, which was really nice after he had had such a busy day. The visit was good but the extra costs on top of a consultation I think is not made clear. I do not know how an ENT specialist is expected to check your ears, nose or throat without looking into them and so my feedback is just include that in the price initially to save the confusion. The specialist was friendly and helpful so no slight on them.

Spire is a lovely hospital, the service has always been excellent. My only feedback is the parking situation, why is the car park always so full?! I think there needs to be a system where you check in your vehicle registration in reception, otherwise a lot of people in the area likely use it as free parking
