From the moment I arrived at the hospital early in the morning, I was met with such warmth and professionalism. The receptionist who checked me in was friendly and reassuring, setting the tone for what turned out to be an incredibly positive experience. Every single member of staff I encountered from the porter who kindly took me to my room, to the nurses who introduced themselves and made me feel completely at home. Went above and beyond to ensure I felt safe, comfortable, and cared for. The hospital itself was spotlessly clean, calm, and welcoming, which made such a difference to my peace of mind. The nursing team truly stood out: they not only provided excellent care and attention during my stay but also took the time to share their own experiences of the same procedure, which helped to reassure me more than words can say. The recovery nurses were so gentle and attentive after my procedure, and the discharge nurse made sure I had everything I needed before leaving. Every person I met without exception deserves a five-star rating. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion made what could have been a daunting experience feel calm and positive from start to finish. I was very impressed with Dr. Viegas’ professionalism and care. His calm and empathetic demeanour immediately put me at ease and made me feel truly heard and understood. The time spent during the consultation was extremely valuable — especially as we travelled from outside London to seek his expertise. Dr. Viegas took the time to review my case thoroughly, connecting the dots between my past investigations and the in-person tests we did on the day. I also appreciated how he recommended clear next steps with an appropriate sense of urgency, which is very important given my condition. I was also reassured to learn that he would be happy to see me at his NHS clinic at Charing Cross Hospital. It means a lot, especially as he is the first specialist neurologist I’ve seen in the UK who has taken such a comprehensive and thoughtful approach. The reception team were kind, welcoming, and very helpful throughout. Overall, the entire experience was excellent and I left feeling confident and well cared for.

Mr Saheel Mukhtar

My last visit with Mr Muktar was to discuss the outcome on the HoLEP operation he performed on me at the end of July 2025. The procedure was very successful and I am now able to wee freely and am extremely happy to no longer have to use a catheter. My prostate was very enlarged and Mr Mukhtar removed 130g of prostate during the procedure. He was also able to advise me that no cancer was present in the removed prostate. I have been monitored for several years for prostate cancer and my PSA before the operation was 15. Mr Mukhtar advised me that my PSA should go down to about 7. I had a six month review today with my Urologist and was advised my PSA is now 4.5. I am delighted with the outcome of this procedure and am very happy to recommend Mr Mukhtar to anyone who is considering having this operation.

I was treated by Mr Balaggan following a routine eye examination which highlighted a bleed at the back of my eye. Following tests, he diagnosed Central Retinal Vein Occlusion, related to macular oedema, which requires ongoing Eylea eye injections. I was panicked about the injections, but he put me at ease with his calm confidence and gentle manner. He clearly explains conditions and procedures and takes time to answer all questions. I have received 4 injections so far: all have gone smoothly. My eyesight has improved dramatically, thanks to his expertise. Mr Balaggan is highly professional, knowledgeable and thorough.. According to the nurses in the ophthalmology department, Mr Balaggan is top of his field and fabulous to work with.

In my initial appointment, following referral for inguinal hernia repair surgery, Mr Sinitsky’s knowledge and expertise were apparent and he explained very clearly the procedure and the associated risks and possible complications. He answered my questions fully and was highly professional in his approach, providing information in a concise and helpful manner. On the day of the surgery I saw him both before and after the surgery, and in a follow-up appointment three weeks after the operation he was thorough in his physical examination, and was informative and reassuring concerning the. recovery process.

This is my 2nd hip replacement with a different surgeon. What I appreciated was Mr Briant-Evans' approach - he was welcoming, understanding, engaged with his patients and was reassuring and positive. He explained things well so that you know what to expect from the surgery. My hip has healed very well and the scar is neatening up nicely after 6weeks. I have had pretty good hip stability from the start and I'm further along than I expected to be. After 6weeks of recovery, I would heartily recommend Mr Briant-Evans if you're looking at who to choose.

He’s also incredibly supportive of his assistants and creates a calm, professional environment. Over the years he’s handled my Invisalign, composite bonding and, most recently, a root canal, all with excellent results. I travel two hours to see him, and it’s well worth it.
