Throughout the session, she listened with genuine presence, care and offered insights that were both clear and deeply resonant. Dr. Edwards has a remarkable talent for explaining complex emotional patterns in a way that feels accessible and empowering. Rather than offering generic guidance, she tailored the conversation to my specific concerns, helping me understand not just what I was feeling, but why — and what meaningful steps I could take moving forward. I would like to pass on my sincere thanks to Dr James Noake at Pure Sports Medicine for his ongoing efforts in diagnosing a long-standing misdiagnosed knee injury following several unsuccessful procedures. Dr Noake identified relevant pathology on imaging that, unfortunately, had been missed by several other private consultants elsewhere. He then carefully administered a diagnostic injection, taking considerable time to ensure pinpoint precision through a cyst and a very small joint space. Dr Noake is clearly a very busy and sought-after clinician, yet he ensured I received an extensive first face-to-face consultation, with ample time in clinic to explore the problem thoroughly using ultrasound. He also went above and beyond by reviewing both previous and updated MRI scans, speaking to me at short notice via Zoom call during the festive period in order to review images and discuss options. I found this attention to detail and direct liaison to be exceptional as more than once I have had to wait 6-weeks between appointments at other private clinics or hospitals. Dr Noake is clearly dedicated to his craft and approaches his work with diligence, precision, and honesty. From the first point of contact, he inspired confidence through his willingness to answer questions, think critically beyond the obvious, and work collaboratively to reach informed decisions. I would highly recommend Dr Noake to anyone seeking help with complex, long-standing, or less common knee or nerve-related injuries.

I have received welcoming and reassuring support from each of the departments I have visited within The Cleveland Clinic as an outpatient and as an inpatient for planned surgery. I was welcomed by the nursing staff and by Mr Nathwani on the day of the surgery who explained again the surgical procedure. Post operatively the nursing staff and the physiotherapist gave encouraging information. I appreciated seeing Mr Akhtar, a fellow orthopaedic surgeon, who had supported me in the early months of the trauma and who had referred me to Mr Nathwani for the specific surgical procedure. I appreciated his interest in following my case. In terms of post operative rehabilitation, Mr Nathwani gave me details of a resource which I did not know of but which I researched and which turned out to be invaluable. I was very warmly welcomed by Nathwani for my post-operative appointment recently and was delighted to demonstrate to him the significant progress I have made and the impact it is making to my life. I can't thank than him and also Mr Akhtar enough.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes on 4th December 2025 and l was discharged today, 12th January 2026. I'm so pleased to say l don't need to wear glasses or contact lenses any more. From start to finish, my experience at Freedom Vision Chelmsford was exceptionally good - and my end result is superb vision. - more than l could ever have hoped for. Colours are radiant and bright, and probably the biggest bonus for me is feeling so much more confident driving at night. After undergoing rigorous tests and scans , the actual procedure is very quick and painless. All the staff, without question were delightfully kind people and I'd like to thank them all individually, if only l knew their names. But in particular, l'd like to thank Nicola who guided me patiently and expertly throughout the whole procedure, and a massive thank you to Mr Hove , my surgeon, for being such a genius. If you are contemplating cataract surgery, l urge you to go for it - don't be scared - you won't regret it!

I was seen in the endoscopy unit not in the private wing. The receptionist had disappeared for nearly 20 mins and I waited along with 3 other NHS patients one of whom was very elderly. Clinical care was good and as expected. Recovery nurse was not welcoming either and didn’t even offer anything for patients who had nothing for 24 hours plus.
