Overall, Spire Elland was great and I would happily return should I require any further procedures in the future. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and everything is very clean. I think the main thing letting the hospital down is patient communication. All appointments and comms are recorded and delivered via an app. If you don't want to or aren't able to download the app (like me), you do end up being left a little in the dark about things. For example, I had been given a surgery date fairly soon after my initial consultation, which was great, however I hadn't been informed that there would be multiple pre-operative assessment appointments to attend - all of which were on-site at Spire Elland, which is around an hour's drive for us. On one occasion, I had to make last-minute arrangements to move clients around as I'd been unaware of an upcoming appointment - I'd received no email, no text, no phone call, no letter. I just so happened to log in to my online portal and find the appointment date there. I moved clients around so I could attend, and just a couple of days before my appointment received a text message to say the date had changed, with no explanation provided. I called to try and find out why this might be, but was met with a dismissive reply of, "We just had to move it". All of the documents outlining the process for my surgery and the prep I should do beforehand were provided online, and the online portal isn't the simplest to navigate, so accessing them wasn't as easy as it could have been. When I was admitted for my day surgery, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, although I did find that I received a blunt reply whenever I asked a question about anything. This was my first ever surgery and my first time being put under general anaesthetic, so naturally I was quite nervous. Some of the members of staff were very helpful and supportive, but others seemed to have little patience, which wasn't ideal and only served to make me more anxious. When I came to after the surgery, I had been expecting to have a bit of a handover with someone so I could at least find out how it had gone and what they had/hadn't found. Unfortunately, Mr Gan was occupied in another surgery, and so I was discharged before having the chance to speak to him. I asked the nurses for some clarification - any brief notes or insights they might be able to give to put my mind at ease a bit until I could speak with Mr Gan - but this was met with quite curt replies. I was told no one could read Mr Gan's handwriting so no one could tell me any information, which at the time was quite frustrating as I'd been dealing with the pain for so long and had viewed the laparoscopy as the light at the end of the tunnel. It was disheartening to leave the hospital without any real clarification of the issue. Now having had my final follow-up with Mr Gan, I can say with confidence that all of my questions have been answered, and I feel validated and supported as a patient. However, I can't help but feel that had the communication from the hospital team been a little better throughout the process, it wouldn't have been so frustrating to wake up after the surgery and find that no one could tell me how it had gone.

This is the first knee operation I have had and in the future my right knee will need a full or partial knee replacement and 100 per cent I would hope that Mr Shah will be the consultant. The experience was absolutely fantastic . The operation was on the 23 October 2025 and the results are wholly positive . I am back to hilly walking, gym classes and leading an active lifestyle. I have also seen an independent physiotherapist who has loads more experience in these matters than me…..he could not be more positive either re the operation all regards in terms of functionality and cosmetically and highly rates it, saying I have had a great job . He also said that my knee is in the top 1% of knee outcomes he has seen. In addition to the above my knee also bends many more degrees than pre operation and I can kneel on it .

I went as an NHS referral for cataracts and they explained about the various options for both NHS and private. As I work full time and do a lot of computer work I decided to pay to have Rayone Galaxy toric lenses. I am so pleased with the result. After wearing glasses since early teens I am now glasses free! Mr Injarie and all the staff at the clinic were friendly and professional and made you feel at ease. Mr Injarie took time to explain everything and obviously is a brilliant surgeon. I can't thank them enough. I was so nervous about having eye surgery but from start to finish I felt in very safe hands. I would highly recommend.

Unfortunately, having burnt my fingers and subsequently acquired an infection, I rang the Centre at 10.00. am and asked for an urgent appointment to see a general practitioner. The receptionist offered me two appointments, one at 11.40 am and one at 1.00 pm. I took the earlier appointment and was seen within 10 minutes by Dr Porter. She was very efficient, warm and understanding. I was prescribed medication, which was supplied by the clinic's pharmacy and back in my office by midday. Excellent service, and I thoroughly recommend Centennial

Dr Shalabi was calm and caring. He listened to my symptoms, looked into them further than anyone had ever done, and suggested some treatment options based on the test results. After years of being told my symptoms were "just IBS and all the results were within normal range", he suggested some additional tests and a subsequent treatment plan which has genuinely changed my quality of life. Dr Shalabi seemed to look at the symptoms and the data in conjunction, which seems to be a novel idea. I can not thank him enough.

She is thorough in her approach and goes above and beyond to liaise with other doctors for their view on my care. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Noori for all she has done for our family over the years.

Dr Al- Dadah has been very helpful and kind every step of the way. I had a meniscus tear. He did the MRI and shared informed alternative course of action. We agreed to do a steroid injection to manage the pain and booked a surgery to “tidy up” the meniscus. The Dr team was very kind and answered promptly all my questions ( pre op jitters), giving me amazing reassurance. The operation ran smoothly and 2 weeks later I got the stitches removed. Almost 95% mobility back already and pain free.

After my operation I expected pain but I had nothing - the scars are minimal and the recovery was 100x faster than I thought !!! I was back to full strength really quickly. My procedure was a day case and regardless of that I was given a private room which was very spacious and clean. All nurses and staff I came across and who took care of me were really kind and friendly. My allocated nurse and physiotherapist were really nice and explained everything I needed to know in terms of medications and post-operative recovery. Overall, I had a fantastic experience!

. It’s not clear where the private department is (or any other) as no reception desk at hospital entrance (only a security man on other duties). When in 2nd floor private area do not expect trappings of luxury or flashy equipment. You do get kindness, attentiveness and skill and efficiency. Came out with problem fixed. No cafe.
