My experience with Albion Dental has been brilliant from start to finish of my treatment. My dentist Dr Ghadimi is very kind, and is very skilled with the procedures he can perform. I have severe hypodontia and even after extensive work throughout my life I was not quite confident with my teeth, so after some discussion and planning, I decided to pursue new crowns for my top 4 teeth; a big decision for me but it has been well worth it and I have no regrets. The treatment was explained well, and my questions were answered fully and meticulously. The nature of the treatment was more cosmetic compared to previous work I've had done, and a big financial endeavour for me, but there are payment plans available to make it more affordable and accessible. The dental assistants are really lovely and look after you well, and the receptionists are always a ray of sunshine when entering the building; their client care skills are exemplary. Some advice for if you have a complex condition and have had a lot of dental work done before coming to the practice like myself, would be to make sure to let the clinic know as much information as possible, as there was some communication that needed to be had to get on level ground with the team. But this was to be expected for me with my long medical history and the clinic was very open and receptive to my concerns about my teeth, and devised a plan sensitively and effectively to help me feel more confident with my smile, something I've felt self-conscious about since I was little! So I would recommend this clinic to anyone for routine, or more involved treatment, and am grateful for everything they've done for me!

Mr Ranjit Deshpande

Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Mr Ranjit Deshpande is a cardiac surgeon with a wealth of expertise and surgical excellence. He also explains everything in easily understood terms and is 100% genuine and sincere. It was agreed that Ranjit would lead the surgical team and he would do whatever he thought was necessary, to try and enable me to lead a near normal life post recovery from the surgery. In the event, I had open heart surgery and my mitral valve was replaced and my tricuspid valve was repaired. In addition, while my heart was completely accessible, 2 other procedures were completed :- Closure of left atrial appendage and complex cox lesion set maze operation. Post operation I felt that I had received excellent advice and surgical care and clearly Ranjit had performed life saving surgery. I am now, just over 6 weeks post-surgery, hopefully well on my way to an excellent recovery, thanks to Ranjit and team. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who has an identified heart problem or simply breathlessness as I had when laying down.

We feel so fortunate to have been able to have our daughter delivered at the Portland Hospital. Our room, the food, the care, everything was exceptional. Most of all we are grateful to the incredible midwives, who looked after us with such warmth and patience. We felt so safe in the knowledge that one of these incredible women was there around the clock to look after us and guide us through the early days and hours of our journey into parenthood. The various healthcare professionals (paediatrician, physio, lactation consultant, pharmacist) as well as the registrar who came to see us were all exceptional individuals too and it was incredibly helpful to be seen by all of them during our hospital stay. A special thank you goes to Pat, our amazing midwife, who accompanied us on the day of our birth. We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful midwife to be with us on this incredible journey.

I have recently have several appointments with Mr Shukla because I broke my shoulder and the NHS cancelled appointment after appointment to repair it. So i decided to try my private medical and I am so glad I did. After my first appointment with Mr Shukla I felt such relief. He instantly sent me for a scan after which he booked me in for surgery within 1 week! The surgery went so smoothly and the stay in the hospital was fantastic. Mr Shukla explained the whole process to me so I had no questions. I have since had follow up appointments and x-rays following up on my progress and healing. 7 weeks later I am having physio and regaining movement in my arm. Thank you so much for such a smooth experience and for repairing me when the NHS couldn't.

Doctor Good is an exceptional, knowledgeable Oncologist. He has shown my mom so much compassion throughout her cancer treatment. She actually looked forward to his appointments. He never rushed through her appointments, and was always calm and empathetic. He explained every step of her treatment with an understanding manner, whilst giving her the facts. I know my mom felt safe in his hands. We can't thank him enough. He does an amazing job, and we will always be grateful to him for making a difficult time that bit more manageable.

I was looking for someone local to get some therapy for my frozen shoulder, I have to say when I looked at the cost I was slightly taken aback! Now I look at the cost as very little in comparison to the fantastic results I have had! From the start, Andy, Ben and the team have been incredible….when I started I could hardly move my arm and in so much pain, some 5 weeks on I am completely free of pain and my motion in my shoulder is as good as it was some years ago. Mr Ravikumar examined my knee, asked me about progress, how I’d been, how I was managing. He checked my knee bend and answered all my questions. He also showed me before and after pictures. Explained about the healing process and checked my scar. Recommended bio oil for the scar and gave me another exercise to help improve my knee bend. I have found him to be professional, kind and polite as well as easy to talk to. Overall I have been very reassured during our interactions

I’m so grateful to Dr Cary for her advice and generosity of care. I feel like I have my life back. My energy levels are the highest they’ve been in years, my sleep has improved which has a huge impact on my overall mental and physical well being, my mental clarity has improved but more importantly my migraines and ovulation pain have both been significantly reduced. I still have some hiccups but I hope they’ll balance out over time as it’s still early days on HRT.

This was my first consultation concerning a raised PSA score following a recent health screening. It was held at the Nuffield Lansdowne Hospital in Bournemouth. Mr Douglas was very professional and personable, and provided a very clear and informative summary of the potential reasons for the raised PSA score and the next steps to be undertaken. Further diagnostic tests have already been arranged for later this month.
