I feel very fortunate to have had my chemotherapy and radiotherapy at GenesisCare Cambridge. The standard of care is excellent and everyone at the clinic is friendly and welcoming. While spotlessly clean with fantastic facilities the centre doesn't feel overly clinical. I really like the holistic approach to treatment at GenesisCare and particularly benefited from the exercise medicine clinic which took me from gym phobic to regular gym goer with huge benefits for my physical and emotional wellbeing. GenesisCare go above and beyond to make treatment less arduous, from providing really comprehensive support to prevent or mitigate unpleasant side effects to offering a complimentary taxi service to and from radiotherapy sessions. Another plus of GenesisCare is that the consultations are never rushed - there is always time for questions and I particularly appreciated my consultant taking time to talk me through the treatment options and providing really clear answers to all my questions.

O 13 December I attended for a pre-med prior to spinal tap. Very good treatment until advised that the spinal tap cancelled due to my ECG. I was urged to immediately contact my GP or A&E. At Worthing A&E I was advised that due to current medication that I am taking for this issue it would have been OK to continue with the spinal tap and it was suggested that One Hospital refused to continue due to your lack of facility if the op went wrong. The journey to One Hospital, 90 miles each way, the time taken for that journey and the pre med followed by 2 hours in A&E was expensive. Before attending One Hospital I had completed a form at your request which listed the medication that I was taking and the reason. Why was I invited to that pre med? This is the second time that One Hospital have refused to go ahead with an operation that was subsequently completed by NHS without a problem. I now have no confidence in the One Hospital and will not seek further appointments.

I was referred to James in July 2024 and currently still under his care as I have ongoing chemotherapy and immunotherapy for colorectal cancer with mets to my liver. James has been very honest and open with me from day one and not promised a "magic cure" to my disease but instead a realistic approach to extending my life as long as possible. He is open to any questions I have had and considered everything I suggest and always given his feedback and opinions in an honest way without me feeling uncomfortable for asking. I would strongly recommend James to anyone with my type of cancer he is a fantastic oncologist and I am more than happy with my treatment and the fact he has never given up on me is amazing. He has a fantastic oncology team that work with him and he certainly "holds a tight ship" Well done James and thank you

I can't say enough wonderful things about my hip surgery experience and the exceptional care I received, my surgeon Mr Sobti was absolutely outstanding, he took the time to explain every step of the procedure, ensuring I fully understood what to expect. The level of care didn't stop after surgery either, Mr Sobti personally came to see me the day after surgery, which meant so much and truly shows his dedication and compassion for his patients, this made me feel genuinely cared for. Thanks to his expertise and professionalism my experience was far better than I expected and I would wholeheartedly recommend Mr Sobti for anyone needing hip surgery. Thank you Mr Sobti and team. Dr. Emmanouil Koloutsos

When going in to get a third temporary crown I told Dr Koloutsos that I was not confident the crown would stay in place so was reconsidering my options. He was quite dismissive of this saying they are temporary crowns so are meant to come off easily. This comment was not appreciated. I finally did agree to have the full crown fitted but only after I was given a guarantee by Dr Koloutsos that if the crown falls off in the first year I would receive a full refund of the cost of the treatment.

Mr Pranab Sinha

Mr Sinha gave me the confidence to have my knee replacement sooner rather than later. There was no option and physio was no longer helping. He explained that my recovery would be quicker as I was younger and in good health and would get more use out of it. It would give me a good quality of life and I would be able to keep up with my grandchildren ! He was right ! 4 weeks post op and I am walking without my crutches. He is a lovely caring person and an excellent surgeon.

Even though we were anxious about the assessment, we were able to trust that Jemma knew and understood how my daughter was suffering and her knowledge was evident by her questions and responses. My daughter broke down in tears at the end of the assessment because at last someone understood and validated her

After my original consultation with a orthopaedic surgeon at a physiotherapy clinic in Doncaster, he wanted to put me on his list. He said I could have a new knee and be fit for Christmas. I said. I want Mr Haslam to operate on my right knee..I trust him. I haven't had any issues with my left knee. He operated on my friends Son's torn ligamentes. He'll br back playing Rugby again soon. Mr Paul Haslam is a genius

Here’s a tightened version with that added: Dr Kerwat was excellent. His surgical skill was clearly evident, and the procedure itself was painless. I felt almost fully recovered within a week, and the hernia has completely receded. There was no sense of rush in this consultation and the diagnosis provided was absolutely spot on. Appointment went as expected, Mr Khajuria has dealt with me before! He is polite and to the point. They are a very busy department and unfortunately on the day I went it was running quite late. I realise things happen and I have the upmost respect for the NHS and all the staff. It is always good to have a bit of humour about the job and Mr. Khajuria I find has this and professionalism. 👍

Very good. Friendly staff. Very clean and pleasant hospital. Health screening tests were done efficiently. GP decided to refer one issue to a specialist which was reassuring that it is receiving proper attention. Only minor irritant was that I was asked 3 times if I was insured or self pay. As I had pre-paid my health screening I would have expected that to be on my records.

Lucy Kerrison is very thorough , excellent listener and very effective communication. She is an excellent dietitian in that she is knowledgable and an efficient researcher. Her sessions ‘face to face’ are a joy.Lucy sums up the consultation which is an excellent way to have a written report to refer to. Lucy’s help continues to contribute to my improved health.

I can't recommend Visio Health highly enough. Dr Sandhu and her staff are so welcoming and friendly that you are immediately put at ease. Dr Sandhu is so generous with her time, answering my many questions clearly and as an extremely nervous patient, she was so kind, and really all my worries were unnecessary.
