Mr Naveen Cavale is truly exceptional — one of the best plastic surgeons in the UK, and possibly worldwide. I had a very large, bulbous nose that I had disliked for as long as I can remember. After three previous rhinoplasties, I was still unhappy with the wide, rounded tip. I consulted several surgeons on Harley Street who told me my nose could not be corrected. An NHS colleague then recommended Mr Cavale, and I’m so grateful they did. My experience at The Real Clinic was outstanding from start to finish. What stood out most was the reassurance that Mr Cavale never takes on a case he feels is too risky or unsuitable. He has an honest, kind and extremely competent manner, which immediately put me at ease. Knowing that he also works in the NHS gave me additional confidence in his integrity and skill. On the day of surgery, the entire team at The Real Clinic were wonderful — from the warm and welcoming receptionist, to the nurses, to the anaesthetist. My anaesthetist, Mr Alasdair Wills, was calm, reassuring and highly skilled, and he chose the perfect anaesthetic so I had no nausea after surgery. Now, three months on, I am in love with my new nose. Mr Cavale truly understood what I wanted. I had explained that my biggest fear was an unnatural “Michael Jackson”-style tip, and that I didn’t want an overly done, pinched or upturned “Barbie” nose. He listened carefully and delivered exactly what I had hoped for. Mr Cavale underpromises and overdelivers. He has transformed my nose while keeping it so natural that even my closest friends couldn’t tell I’d had surgery. I trusted him completely, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

I came to KT with an ongoing pain in my glute from running. I had been to another physio for months with no improvement and was feeling quite helpless. She immediately diagnosed it as Deep Glute Syndrome and reassured me that we could treat it. She put me at ease straight away and I could tell that I was in safe hands, and with someone who was incredibly skilled and loved what they do. Her knowledge and experience is so impressive. I also had some lower back issues which she helped me with massively (I’ve had these for years). She helped make a plan for recovery that suited my lifestyle and other exercise to make sure I could continue exercising. She often provided manual therapy which was brilliant too. She was always checking in with me and working to make eveything tailored for me. She was always available by email. She is incredibly kind and always made me feel comfortable and heard which I hadn’t had this before from other physio treatment. She also considered that I was funding the treatment myself and discussed this with me. I genuinely can’t praise KT enough, and would recommend her to anyone with sports injuries. I don’t have the words to thank her for her help and support.

Medical Prime has been the best service I had ever received. The team are empathetic, professional, hugely experienced & very transparent with regards to treatment. I feel so lucky to be in the very capable guidance & care of Dr Theodora Kalentzi along with Zarina who makes the whole booking process so easy. Going on HRT has been the best thing for me & what is wonderful is how Dr Theodora has such a pragmatic & calm approach. I was in a bit of a broken state not understanding what was wrong. By the end of my first appointment I felt really happy that I was ‘normal’ as Dr Theodora listened & was generous with her time in kindly sharing her knowledge of how this is a normal process that we women go through. How right she was as within a few weeks I felt myself again which was a huge relief. We continue to have regular appointments which are always so calm & helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Medical Prime & the amazing team to anyone. It has been one of the best decisions I have made.

Mr Christopher Mark Andrews

I found it easy to book an appointment to see Mr. Andrews and the consultation was thorough and my condition was explained to me in terms that I easily understood. Mr. Andrews arranged for me to have an MRI scan and the appointment came through within days. The MRI scan procedure was simple and again everything was explained to me. I am having a telephone conversation with Mr. Andrews this week to find out the results of my scan and discuss the way forward. Mr. Andrews replaced a hip joint for me thirteen years ago which was life changing for me , as I am a farmer. This enabled me to go about my farming activities free from pain and regaining my mobility. I can't speak highly enough of Mr. Andrews.

Impossible to speak to anyone in Cambridge which was very frustrating. am used to being seen privately and this did not come up to the usual standard. Although the staff were very polite and friendly I felt that nobody was sure what to do and did not fill me with confidence. I have never gone privately and only seen the surgeon on the day of the operation with no follow up appointment with the actual surgeon. I was left with a cut on the skin to the left of my eye and an indentation across my eyebrow which I feel had probably been caused by the clamp used to keep my eyelid open. I was left feeling that for some reason the private sector in Cambridge was struggling. A great pity.

Dr Arani Sridhar

Dr Sridhar is an amazing, exceptional doctor. He’s very kind and caring to my son. He takes his time to explain things to us, especially to my wife who struggled with English. We don’t feel rushed in appointments and have always put us at ease, especially with all the medication my son has had to take and the surgeries he’s had as a child. His expertise and kindness has made all the difficult times easy for us. During Covid he always made time for us by telephone, when everything was on lock down, which was amazing as our son was immune suppressed and we were worried for him. Dr Sridhar is an outstanding doctor and We are truly grateful, he’s our doctor.

Mr Aris Konstantopoulos

I recently had laser eye surgery with Dr Konstantopoulos and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the first consultation, he was friendly, approachable, and very honest about the different treatment options, including what would and wouldn’t be suitable for me. He took the time to answer all my questions clearly and made sure I felt comfortable and well-informed at every stage. The procedure itself was quick and professionally handled, and the aftercare has been excellent. My vision is now significantly improved, and the whole experience was great. I’d highly recommend Dr Konstantopoulos to anyone considering laser eye surgery.

Tucked away, the clinic had a bright and airy interior. A warm welcome greeted me at the door and I was swiftly directed to reception. Unlike some medical waiting areas it felt comfortable and homely. I noted they had security was at the entrance, which was reassuring. A cheerful receptionist checked me in efficiently. The waiting area was pleasant, offering a variety of hot drinks including still and sparkling water, biscuits and snacks. I asked for a taxi on leaving and the lady at reception explained they didn’t have a direct telephone number, but would get a colleague to wave one down for me. Very thoughtful.

As previously commented, the experience at the clinic was faultless. This is particularly important for those in unfamiliar surroundings. Reception staff were charming, reassuring, happy to help and crisply efficient. I knew my consultant well and was seen on time, after a short while in the comfortable surrounds of the waiting room - excellent coffee! I will attend again in the Spring and feel confident this will be an equally satisfying experience, in the knowledge the expertise of my consultant and the LUS practice, housed at the HCA Clinic, must be amongst the finest available anywhere.

Check in and pre op preparations were fast and efficient. Post op was also good, however, as I suffer from vertigo, there didn't seem to be any medical help available for this condition. I suffered with severe symptoms following anaesthetic. I was supposed to receive a text message the day before my op to confirm, but that didn't happen. When I found the Spencer carpark, I was refused barrier entry as apparently I should have been given a barrier gate code, but I didn't receive it. So this part of my experience was stressful.

My experience with Dr Johnson was outstanding. She is a truly wonderful doctor — calm, compassionate, and exceptionally thorough. From the moment she walked into the room, I felt listened to, respected, and fully cared for. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel safe during a very worrying time. The staff at Candover were equally impressive. Every person I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. Their teamwork and gentle approach made the whole experience so much easier for me.

Unfortunately, the registration form I had completed online for the consultation seemed to have gone missing. The form that was presented had an address from over 30 years ago!! Not a good start, but thereafter things went smoothly. However, when an invoice recently arrived for a previous stress test and blood test, no account had been taken of the fact that I paid for the stress test on the day I took the test. Overall, there have been some administrative failings.

He listened intently and intelligently to what I said, read through a previous Radiology Report and medical evidence, then examined me thoroughly, before setting out the next steps forward with my treatment plan. Dr. Sheeraz Janjua

Dr Sheeraz was able to assess and confirm the diagnosis of a recently detected issue with my vision. Elsewhere I was informed that the I would require dye in my eye which would impair driving etc for a few hours, however, this was not necessary due to leading technology at Dr Sheeraz’s practice. Dr Sheeraz talked me through the findings and was able to put me at immediate ease. Highly recommended!

The entire procedure for my left knee total replacement was very well organised and planned properly. The sergeant Mr. Ahmad and his team were very efficient and made the procedure very easy. My stay at the hospital before and after my surgery was very pleasant and enjoyable. The catering staff was also very friendly. I would recommend Mr. Ahmad and the Independent hospital very highly.
