Dr Stott supported me in the assisted vaginal delivery of my baby girl at Fitzrovia Suite, UCLH. I could have not been more happy to have chosen him as my consultant. I had hoped for a natural delivery at full term, but had some slight complications which meant that was not possible. Despite this, thanks to Dr Stott both my baby and I did very well, and I look back at her birth process as a very positive experience. Dr Stott has sound judgement when it comes to clinical decisions. He is calm and clear at communicating and explaining the reasoning behind his recommendations in easily accessible terms. And he was excellent at the delivery process itself. Due to gestational diabetes I was recommended to have an early induction. Dr Stott explained the process and its benefits in detail, so I felt prepared on the day. My baby was very small, and during the final stage of labour she became distressed. Dr Stott suggested a vacuum assisted delivery to speed things up, knowing I wanted to avoid a C section if possible. Despite the urgency, he remained calm and made sure I understood what was happening throughout the process and I felt entirely confident in his recommendation. The outcome was great - despite an episiotomy I was able to move straight away, have not had any discomfort and all the midwives who visited me have been commenting on how well the stitches were done; despite the stress she was under my daughter was well, and her head looked completely normal from the outset. I feel very lucky to have had Dr Stott support me through this all, and I do genuinely believe that having him as my consultant made a huge difference on the outcome and how satisfied I was with the birth experience.

I had extensive contact with Dr. Moorthy before I actually attended St. Marys Lindo Wing in person, via email and phone calls, so I had a good idea before arriving there of who Dr. Moorthy was as a professional and a person. I had a very good impression of Dr. Moorthy before attending the hospital, and I can say I was not disappointed to meet him in person. As a professional he is extremely good, his detailed explanations of the surgery and techniques he would use were greatly appreciated, too many times I have come across surgeons who spend little to no time before a surgery, getting any information second hand from some one else on the team, but Dr. Moorthy spent the time with me directly to go over all the details not only of the surgery but also the recovery process. He came to see me many times while I was at the Lindo Wing, even coming in on the weekend to check up on my progress, and was in contact with the people who came to the hospital with me. After I left the hospital and returned to Ireland, he again kept in contact to check on my recovery. Dr. Moorthy, as well as being a great surgeon, as evidenced by my recovery, little to no after effects from the surgery, and very little signs now that I ever had surgery, is also a very kind and personable human being, I am delighted to of met such a genuine nice person and delighted that it was he who performed my surgery. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Moorthy.

Delamere has been a godsend to me. From the first moment I contact them to the final day of my stay, they were warm, professional and caring. Each and every member of staff, from the cleaning teams to the senior leaders has the best interests of guests at heart. Delamere is a caring and friendly community which focuses on the needs of the individual, but in such a way that the programme does not feel over-medicalised. The care and attention given from the nursing team is second to none and nothing is too much trouble. They explain everything to you in a way you can understand and always have time for questions or queries. The guest liaison team are approachable and helpful as well as supportive and kind. The quality of the group session is excellent and well-thought through to support you on you recovery journey. This is exemplified by the outstanding quality of therapy and mentoring I received throughout my time at Delemere. The chefs are excellent and proved a nutritious and balanced diet which is excellent quality. The team as re also friendly and welcoming. What was special about Delemere is the personal touch. Every member of staff knew your name and was happy to chat about any issues you might have at any time of day. I cannot thank the staff enough for the opportunity they have given me to get my life back on track. I wholeheartedly recommend Delemere for anyone needing their expertise and support.

After suffering a neurological event which was initially feared to be a potential stroke and being released prematurely by an NHS hospital, we managed to book an appointment with Dr. Rakshi the next morning. Dr. Rakshi immediately started asking all the right questions in a personable and calm but highly efficient, sharp way. He provided very clear explanations and observations around my symptoms and the potential causes, and immediately referred us for a same-day MRI and some additional tests. Followed up within less than a week with a follow up appointment which he helped me book personally by slotting me in between other appointments even though the hospital stated his calendar was full. Overall he was fantastic at helping us understand the situation, putting our mind at ease, and understanding next steps. I highly recommend him.

After my atrial fibrillation (AFib) diagnosis, I booked an appointment with Dr Davies at the Park Hospital. He explained the treatment options: medication, a cardioversion (an electrical reset of the heart), or an ablation. His manner and experience are second to none. He helped me understand the options and I decided upon the RF ablation using the new state of the art facility at the Park. Dr Davies and his brilliant team carried out the procedure and the ITU aftercare team were equally impressive. I’m very pleased to say it went well and heart is now back in normal sinus rhythm, and I’m expected to make a full recovery. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Dr Davies and everyone at the Park Hospital.

I waited longer than usual for my appointment but Mr Sharma was very apologetic. He examined and more importantly listened to me about my concerns. The follow up letter arrived promptly so action could be taken. He gave me a referral for an appointment to have steroid injection which I obtained within 24 hrs. Sadly the referral letter had a couple of mistakes but these were rectified very quickly. Very impressed with the process and we are all individuals so mistakes can happen.

Facility was excellent, nice and clean as well as lovely and quiet. Instructions weee clear, and the receptionist was extremely friendly, as were the nursing staff I saw.
