Since meeting Marc during my pre-assessment earlier this year, I had been eager to see him again ahead of my hernia repair surgery. Marc’s ability to explain and articulate his findings to me was very clear and gave me a good understanding of how he would approach the procedure itself. Marc was able to outline the differences between what he may or may not have to do depending on his findings during the surgery. Once again, I was able to understand this clearly due to his helpful explanation of my condition. The information he shared gave me great clarity and relief ahead of my surgery. Marc was extremely friendly and relaxed during my visit. Pre-op, he visited my room to once again explain exactly what he was going to do. Marc took the time to listen to my feelings regarding the operation and ensured that we were both in agreement about what needed to be done. I felt that no question was left unanswered, and I always felt comfortable voicing any concerns or questions I had. Post-op, Marc was quick to visit me again and explain exactly what had happened during the procedure, clarifying the options we had previously discussed. Once again, I felt incredibly grateful and reassured that everything had been done in my best interests, with my health and wellbeing as the priority.

Dr Tony and Sarah Chalhoub — the dynamic duo behind the practice are exceptionally professional, kind, and dedicated. From the very first phone call with Sarah to arrange my initial consultation, through surgery and right up to today, I have received a standard of care that is truly unmatched. Dr Chalhoub is a godsend , the GOAT in his field. Before my consultation, I had been given advice elsewhere that left me with very little hope. Dr Chalhoub changed that completely. He put me at ease by thoroughly explaining every option available and walking me through each step of the process with patience and clarity. My myomectomy, although complex, was successful and without complications. Everyone who saw the incision commented on how neat and precise it was. Throughout the entire journey, I have been treated with the same care and respect he would give his own family. Women are often unheard in gynaecology, so having a doctor and surgeon who is humble, patient, and genuinely willing to listen — and who consistently goes the extra mile to ensure I receive the best care possible is deeply heartwarming. The care provided by Dr Chalhoub and his team, especially Sarah, is second to none.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience with Dr Jaison and would highly recommend him. I was referred to Dr Jaison by my physiotherapist following a knee injury. An MRI was arranged within a week, and I was able to see Dr Jaison around a week later to discuss the results and the best way forward. My biggest concern was whether the injury would prevent me from joining the Army in two months' time. Dr Jaison took the time to explain the findings clearly, answer my questions and reassure me about my recovery. I now feel much more confident that I can focus on rebuilding the strength and stability in my knee so that I can work towards being physically capable of starting Army training. Throughout the whole process I felt listened to, reassured and well looked after. Dr Jaison was professional, knowledgeable and approachable, and I never felt rushed during the consultation. I am extremely grateful for the reassurance and guidance he has given me and would have no hesitation recommending him to anyone dealing with a similar injury or uncertainty about their recovery.

Obviously my decision to have a gastric bypass was something that took time and a great deal of consideration. For me the process took over 2 years and a lot of support by Alan Osbourne and the Verve team during that time. I had a very positive experience with my gastroenterologist Dr Hussenbux he was extremely thorough throughout my investigations, including my gastroscopy, biopsies and MRCP, and I really appreciated the care he took to check everything properly rather than overlooking the smaller details. What stood out to me was his holistic approach to gut health. He looked at the bigger picture rather than focusing solely on one symptom or test result, which gave me a lot of confidence in his care. He was knowledgeable, attentive and reassuring, and I felt that my concerns were genuinely listened to and taken seriously. I’m very grateful for the time and effort he put into investigating my symptoms thoroughly. But being able to spend quality time and develop a relationship with experienced clinicians, who know, can give some time and consider the whole picture without the encumbrance of often politically-led measures and bureaucracies, thereby allowing doctors to be doctors, is very important to me; not least of all because it was exactly that which kept me around in October last year. I now know too much about it to underestimate it's importance. So, for me, it is worth paying extra for that peace of mind. Today's appointment being no exception.

Don’t feel that I am a patient that has someone that has you and manages you, and checks in? Maybe I was expecting to much? I don’t mind paying more for a service that does that. I admit I am useless with keeping up to date. With everything and really need a P.A sort of approach. And someone checking that I am doing what I am supposed to be doing.? I have asked twice now for a new code for my assessment breakdown? And to my knowledge have still not received one? It’s just all these bits. Like I say I don’t mind paying for a better service, I just need to feel someone has my back, not just being a number?

Absolutely fantastic experience at Hale Private Clinic in Manchester. From start to finish, everyone I dealt with was welcoming, friendly and professional, and the whole experience felt very well organised and reassuring. A special mention has to go to Nurse Paul, who was absolutely brilliant. Extremely professional and clearly very experienced, but just as importantly, he was warm, friendly and genuinely human. Unfortunately compared to my visit in April, this visit was at times disappointing. I felt like a nuisance when asking questions, and then on discharge I wasn't given much care information and didn't see the consultant. It felt like I was the last patient and as such everyone was ready to go home. I also found mt consultant rather unsympathetic regarding pain and dismissive. No one was rude, and there were no instances but the general feeling I had wasn't positive sadly. I can only compare to April, where I felt safe, supported and cared for.
