Mum was almost blind wearing really thick glasses, and couldn't see at all without them. She had a few complications with her eyes but Dr Stewart and team endeavoured to give her as much sight back as possible, even if just slight. After her cataracts surgery on the 'good' eye, she is like a new woman. At nearly 78yrs old, mum doesn't need to wear her glasses for the first time since she was young. She can see clearer and further away. Close up is still difficult but we trust that after both eyes are done, and potentially glasses again with alot less prescription, she will be able to see so much better. She's had no pain or anything. The drs were brilliant and we can't thank them enough. This is the best thing to have happened to mum who was petrified to get her eyes done. She says he is the best Dr I have ever seen and I'm so happy.

RTN Mental Health - Right To Choose

Trying to book the appointment for the video interview for the autism assessment was very frustrating as there were often no slots available and I had to keep trying numerous times before I got an appointment. One of the reasons I have used RTN for Right to Choose was because the details for RTN showed that it would take 10 weeks to receive a diagnosis. It took nearly a year to get the autism assessment and a year later I am still waiting to receive the ADHD report, although I have received a verbal diagnosis. It was good to be given a verbal diagnosis at the end of the ADHD video interview and to have a discussion about the next steps to find out if medicineI is an option. However it is going to take even longer to find out about medication.

I have had 2 procedures to remove BCC on my nose with skin grafts from my neck. The first BCC was infiltrative and I have needed Immiquimod for 6 weeks once the surgeries had healed. It has been a challenging 6 months but the support and guidance from Jane has been exceptional. From the first consultation I felt listened to and part of the decision making process. She has shown great empathy and has broken the bad news that I needed more treatment with care and concern. I have really appreciated her phone calls updating me and guiding me through the options available. Firstly Mr Manjaly empathy and the time given, and how compassionate he was about my situation was outstanding He gave clear instruction and didn’t go into things to confuse me, as he took me through each stage carefully, which really helped, the outcome ideas he gave were really realistic. Working through all of these we could then work out that the Osia device was a good option. Communication for surgery was quick and consise, he came himself to see me and explained things clearly and took on how I was feeling. After over half a century being totally deaf in one ear, isolated, depression what Mr Manjaly has been able to do for me has changed my life and I had nothing but excellent treatment.

Once Again Dr Chiraush Patel was outstandingly professional and kind. I was fortunate enough to get an appointment within an hour of calling. It cannot be overestimated how important it is to patients to have a well trained Doctor with exemplary bedside manner to help the patient to recovery. This is true of all the other GPs at One Stop, but I am lucky enough to see Dr Patel mostly. My standards are very high but Dr Patel exceeds them by miles every time I visit (I only visit sparingly). This is medicine at its very best and reminds me of when GPs were true family Dotors back before fundholding. I am fortunate indeed to have such excellent GPs. Thank you Dr Patel and OSD!

I cannot speak highly enough of Mr Fawdington, who along with his knowledge and expertise is caring and empathetic with an engaging manner. From my first meeting I felt reassured that my symptoms, which had perplexed others, could be resolved. His initial thoughts were proved entirely correct after an MRI, and prompt surgery was the realistic option for a condition that is considered somewhat rare. After five weeks from my initial consultation I regained full motor function to my hand, for which I am eternally grateful. His lovely secretary was also most helpful in guiding me through the process.

Although the appointment wasn't satisfactory for me because the doctor couldn't give me a second opinion on my back and neck pain since his specialty is lower extremities, he sent me for updated MRI exams so he could give me a responsible and accurate second opinion on my knee and ankle. I emailed the doctor and am waiting for him to reply with his diagnosis from the previous appointment so I can provide my employer with the information they need to continue helping me with the MRI costs and get positive results that will allow me to go to work without any health risks. Thank you very much.

I was extremely nervous having had a bad cataract surgery experience previously. However the staff went out of the way to make me feel comfortable, with a particular shout out to Bruce who was calm, funny, knowledgeable and held my hand throughout the procedure. Mr Ainsworth was warm and kind, it was good to meet him before the surgery. The whole procedure was explained and was over so quickly. It was a very personalised experience and my recovery has been quick and straightforward. I cannot recommend Newmedica highly enough, particularly for nervous patients.

Dr El Gohari has been my consultant since 2024 when he found Endometriosis and adenomyosis. He performed a great surgery. When booking in recently as I have been having pains he again got me booked in for same excision surgery as before and explained all the risks and what will happen.
