The appointment with the specialist gastroenterologist and blood test, reception, bookings etc was fine, no wait, quick, efficient and friendly. All very good. The MRI was another story. I have shared my feedback with the experience team. See below. How are your staff performing procedures on patients trained? The team I was handed over looked more like students under training with no supervision, it was scary to be left alone with them for an MRI. Are you cutting costs so that no doctors are available on the day of my procedure? I have been better taken care of by the NHS ! I have just had the worst experience for what should have been a simple MRI procedure. The team I was handed to were unable to find a suitable vein to perform the dye injection. They tried several times, I asked to call someone else to try, the man who arrived didn't manage either and it was even more painful, they ended up harming both my arms. There were no doctors available. I insisted to see one. They said we could maybe do the MRI without the dye solution injected in my arms. They asked me what I wanted to do?! I replied I was not a doctor and the decision was not with me as I have no idea what it involves. Finally after waiting for over 20mins in a freezing room, with just a light layer to cover me, a doctor arrived. He said we shouldn't do an MRI without injecting the dye solution. Eventually he managed to do the needle procedure very well and easily and it was not painful at all. He left straight after. The MRI happened but no explanation was given to me by the team, who looked more like "in learning students with no supervision", I just prayed they actually knew what they were doing but I was very doubtful... no feedback on how it went, how long left during the MRI, when the results would be coming etc. I had MRIs with HCA in the past, a totally different experience. Doctors seem to be good at Cleveland but the staff I met yesterday was undertrained and there is obviously a management / administration problem. NHS does better on some instances. We pay a fortune for these types of clinics, this is shocking. I will never trust this place for any further procedures handling my health and body.

I am at Kingsbridge Hospital for partial knee replacement surgery. Surgical Ward 1 - 28/11/2025. I am writing to express my deepest and sincere thanks for the outstanding care I am receiving during my stay at Kingsbridge Hospital, Ballykelly. The professionalism and kindness I am receiving during my care is outstanding. Sarah, Kerry, Laura & Kim (night staff) from Ward 1 have all been wonderful, nothing was any trouble and I want to thank them for going above and beyond to ensure my well being. Unfortunately, I can’t remember all the names of the staff on ward 1 when I booked in, but again these staff were amazing (Keavsa/luke). I have felt very at ease during my stay and that has come across naturally from you all. You deserve recognition for all your hard work and care you have provided. Please convey my heartfelt thanks to all the staff involved in my care, including the doctors Mr Acton, Dr Brian OG McLary and their team who showed exceptional expertise. Not forgetting the physio. Truly Exceptional After experiencing pain from my new hospital contact lenses I was able to book an appointment with Drew far sooner than my Hospital would see me. Drew very quickly determined that ill-fitting lenses were causing Conjunctival Prolapse and advised how best to proceed. Essentially the lenses used by my Hospital were not appropriate for my eyes and, since the Hospital will not use alternative lenses, Drew was able to fit and supply better lenses. These new contact lenses give excellent vision and comfort, even though I have a particular eye condition which makes it very difficult to fit contacts, despite lenses being the only solution for me. Thank you Drew and Team!

am African and originally from Africa. Today, the young lady who took my blood was extremely kind and very professional. As we were talking, she was friendly, respectful, and welcoming. I was truly impressed by her attitude and the way she treated me. When she inserted the needle to draw my blood, I barely felt anything — she clearly knew exactly where the vein was and performed the procedure with great skill. If people in this world were all like her, the world would be filled with endless happiness.

All members of the team are friendly and welcoming. They have personality and engage with patients. Everything appears to be well organised and runs smoothly. The clinic is clean and fresh. All instructions/requests are explained in a helpful clear manner and staff are attentive and go the extra mile. All staff impress as being very caring. During a recent stay for surgery, everyone with whom I came into contact was very kind and helpful. I felt like I was in very safe hands.
