Mr Benjamin Lamb. Retzius Sparing Robotically Assisted Prostatectomy with NeuroSAFE. This is my second review of Mr Lamb. The first focussed on his first class aporoach to patient care. This time I want to focus on his expertise and surgical skill. I am 71 years old, fit but slightly overweight. A layman's review. Retzius Sparing: A technique that protects and preserves the nerves surrounding the prostate. In my case the nerves on both sides were fully preserved. At the time of catheter removal seven days post surgery I had been peeing normally for three days. At catheter removal I was delighted to continue as normal, no leakage, no incontinence. Robotically Assisted: I honestly thought the bruising and damage created during this procedure would cause discomfort for quite sometime, but, eight days post op I have no discomfort, the surgical wounds are healing nicely and I am Walking two miles a day. All testimony to the care and surgical technique adopted by Mr Lamb. NeuroSAFE: A technique where tissue is sent to the path lab for testing during surgery to check for cancer at the edges of the surgical site. This allows Mr Lamb, in real time, to either close the procedure or continue shaving tissue at the edge until the lab reports no further cancer cells. Thus I awoke to the knowledge that all the cancer had been removed. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Lamb for his expertise and patient care.

I have recently benefited from the services provided by FACEMED. A mastopexy and abdominoplasty. I am impressed by not only the outcomes but also the outstanding patient care provided. Staff treat you as an individual, they have time to listen, and they respond to your every need and put you at ease. The small things matter, even getting the coffee just right. Being an ex-nurse, it can take a lot to impress me when it comes to standards of care and human connection. FACEMED have certainly excelled in both these areas. Through my initial consultation, treatment and aftercare I received a level of care not provided by other health providers I have used in the past. I am so impressed I already have plans for taking up more of their treatments and services. My Optician, James, referred me to Mr Subramaniam and from the outset I considered him to be a very pleasant gentleman who put me at ease straight away and explained, in understandable detail, what the cataract operation would entail. On both occasions, Mr Subramaniam was very professional and courteous and I was treated with care throughout both procedures. His team were very friendly and made the experience as easy as possible, in particular Sarah who was so lovely and made me feel really comfortable and well cared for. Mr Subramaniam was gentle in his approach and, apart from the injection, I did not feel any discomfort at all. We enjoyed a brief chat prior to the operations and it was completed very rapidly and I was able to go home very shortly afterwards. My aftercare was explained clearly and I met with Mr Subramaniam shortly after each operation, where he conducted a follow up check up. He was very pleased with the results, as was I. Mr Subramaniam made my cataract experience very easy and comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to contact him for the same procedure. A very likeable, trustworthy and professional gentleman. It was a pleasure to meet him and entrust him with my sight issues which are now well and truly resolved.

Dr Cowie is so knowledgable and gives thoughtful and thorough explanations to questions - and believe me I ask a lot of them! She has always been able to answer questions that I've had. She has counselled me on the best course of action for my health, and although it has been a long road, with her patience and knowledge, I finally feel like my former self! I really trust Dr Cowie to give considered medical advice and it's clear that she keeps herself abreast of all the new developments in women's healthcare. Dr Yeo was kind & understood quickly what I tried to explain and also recorded his findings accurately & helpfully for me. The letter came same day. The treatments I was given were made as comfortable as possible. I had two sets of eye drops & my eye tests felt a little stretching. Huub was highly recommended to us by 2 friends independently and I cannot thank them enough. Huub is an outstanding physio! My daughter was in so much pain that it was initially thought she had a hip fracture and she needed an MRI. Acl surgery with LET, the process was smooth and we took the time to plan the complication of cyclops lesion which was preventing me to get back to active sports. We've completed the removal of the cyclops lesion and other issues around the knee since it was being opened up. One Heart Clinic - Marylebone

I had my third cardiac ablation this week at the Cromwell hospital. Dr Khan saw me beforehand and told me the strategy for the procedure. Afterwards he visited me to give me an update on how the operation went. So hopefully I will recover and not experience AF anymore.
