I was very lucky to have been treated by Dr. karoshi. He has this very calm and warm demeanor, which was very welcomed by someone like me who's usually a little nervous. He is very patient, the same question he'd explain to me again and again till I understood completely. He was very thorough, unlike my previous experience, he took the time to thoroughly investigate my situation, came up with the best surgery option, one ensured that there was least physical intrusion, quicker recovery, and best long term post op health care. From the beginning of my journey with Mr Tailor I felt at ease since he conducted a comprehensive review of my medical history and my health status. His ability to communicate with detailed description what was happening to me made me feel confident in the care provided. The follow-up calls to discuss treatment followed by letters helped me to process things at my own pace and was able to refer to them in case I had questions. Mr Tailor was always kind and compassionate specially when answering questions, so I felt informed and assured at every step. On the day my surgery was taking place Mr Tailor arrived with a big smile and took his time to explain the procedure, its purpose and potential risks in simple and understandable terms. Fertility issues have been a big concern for me and a delicate subject, it only took the initial consultation for him to notice this; to my surprise he suggested performing a dye test which shows not only his attention to detail but also his caring nature and his ability to make a customized care plan taking in consideration both my physical wellbeing and my mental well-being. I did a lot of research in 2023 before I chose the right surgeon to help treat my severe endometriosis and fibroids and I am pleased to say I made the best decision. Thanks to the reviews on this website in addition to recommendations from the founder of the Endometriosis Foundation, I went ahead and booked with Mr Khazali. Throughout my consultations and whilst going through my history Mr Khazali listened and gave me the space to talk. His approach was a two surgery process (3 months apart), first one being the myomectomy to remove the fibroids and the second being the robotic endometriosis excision. Both were successful and I have recovered well from both. My monthly cycles are still yet to settle into a normal routine but I am pain free during my periods now, for the first time in my life (I'm 41). I have not taken any strong painkillers, just the occasional paracetamol. From beginning to end, my experience was nothing short of amazing. Emma, Tamasine (Mr K's secrataries) through to the Lister Hospital nurses and the stays, everything was as smooth as it could be. Leandri (the aftercare nurse after being discharged) is a superstar and is the most kindest and knowledgeable nurse there is.
