This was the second time being treated for Mr Thomas - each time for completely separate complaints. Exactly like the first time, the care provided was excellent. Each appointment and on the day of surgery, time was taken to explain everything and answer questions that I had. Options were always given to me when possible, and fully explained, and I really felt I was involved in my care throughout. I couldn’t recommend Mr Thomas highly enough.

Mr Mohammadi has been a truly amazing surgeon. He has a dedicated approach to treatment and carries out each stage of care directly. His skill is world class and he performs some of the most challenging gastrointestinal surgeries with excellent outcomes. Mr Mohammadi also explains what options are available in an easy-to-understand manner but can explain in detail when asked. Indeed, I had many concerns about my oesophagectomy and his dedication saw me through.

Mr Kumar has given me exemplary care. He is an extremely impressive surgeon but also really listens, takes time to settle your concerns and is clearly an excellent colleague. It was nice to see that he knew all his nurses first names and was careful to use our names. I trusted him instantly and am very glad to have been cared for by him.

Dr Mukherjee was wonderful from start to finish. A great kind sense of humour and explained everything clearly. A fantastic surgeon.

I highly recommend Prof Mughal as I found him extremely considerate, well mannered, kind and super professional. He operated on me for 11 hours - a complete oesophagectomy and a month later I was able to eat and sleep almost as normal. I could not ask for more. Excellent care and information provided from initial consultation through to outpatient review. Mr Kumar took time to explain the procedure and recovery process in detail, addressing any issues/concerns. This provided great peace of mind.
