Dr Hewitt is an excellent clinician. He reviewed a complex set of results spanning multiple consultants thoroughly, explained everything in plain language without oversimplifying, and had a clear and considered plan within the consultation. What stood out was his empathy and clinical understanding of my symptoms that other consultants had previously dismissed as they did not neatly fit a traditional template. He took them seriously, contextualised them within the broader picture, and validated what I had been experiencing without needing to be convinced. He is clearly very knowledgeable in his field and communicates with both confidence and warmth. I'm so glad I crossed paths with him. Highly recommended.

I had made an appointment with Dr. Hewitt as I had a cough for almost 2-months that eventually went away with 4 rounds of antibiotics. I'm also asthmatic (for over 55 years) so I wanted to see a lung specialist who not only understood asthma, but also could tell me if something more serious wasn't happening. As I hadn't seen a lung specialist in quite some time, Dr. Hewitt was able to baseline where I was in terms of my lung function, allergies, treatment over all health of my lungs. His knowledge and understanding is unsurpassed in my opinion and was able to explain everything in laymans' terms. I feel confident in where I am in my asthma journey including the road ahead in forms of treatment.

Full explanations given on test results and questions raised. Encouraging attitude and extremely reassuring. This was my second appointment and like the first I never felt rushed by Dr Hewitt.

I thought Dr. Hewitt explained my diagnoses to me in a very caring and sympathetic manner. I was able to understand very clearly how he reached this diagnose and although a great shock to me, i was very impressed with his positivity and also explaining the care plan of my case going forward.,

I was concerned that I didn’t receive an outcome letter for a week after the consultation, which I felt was unnecessarily delaying next steps and referral to the pharmacy team to start treatment. However it seems that Dr Hewitt was waiting on results of my autoimmune blood panel before finalising his report. It does appear that he completed this very quickly after receiving the results so I am now reassured.

I came to visit Dr Hewitt for a second opinion on my lung issue, his knowledge was outstanding. After a brief discussion on my history, Dr Hewitt reviewed my file and explained everything in clear detail. He gave advice on how we should proceed, what has happened so far that could be changed and ordered follow up tests that we could compare against the old tests.
