Dr Angela Jones

Dr Jones has been a consultant in respiratory and general internal medicine for the past 15 years and for over 8 years as private consultant practicing in West London, UK.

Dr Jones has extensive clinical experience in the management of airways inflammation, chronic cough and unexplained breathlessness. Dr Jones set up and ran a very large and successful difficult asthma service in a busy NHS DGH for over a decade. She has a broad and varied experience in managing respiratory cases, and has run different NHS sub specialised and general respiratory clinics over her many years as a consultant.

Her dual respiratory and general medicine accreditation as a consultant means that she approaches all patient cases holistically. Dr Jones works with a team of highly respected colleagues in thoracic surgery, cardiology, ENT, radiology and imaging, physiotherapy and cardio-respiratory physiology. Dr Jones has a broad experience in respiratory medicine, and has run different NHS sub-specialised and general respiratory clinics over her years as a consultant.

As part of a front line NHS consultant team, overseeing the NIV patients during the COVID pandemic, she gained great experience in managing acute respiratory infections, as well as experience in managing the long-term consequences of such complex cases, such as Long COVID syndrome.

Throughout her professional career, Dr Jones has been involved in medical education. She has held a number of roles, including being a Clinical and Educational Supervisor for over 12 years, being the Lead for Clinical Simulation at Wexham Park Hospital, as an Associate Clinical Professor in Internal Medicine for the American University of the Caribbean Medical School and as a Director of Undergraduate Education for Brunel Medical School at Wexham Park Hospital. Until December 2025, Dr Jones was also a Reader and Programme Lead for an MSc course at Brunel Medical School, Brunel University London. During her tenure, Dr Jones successfully led her MSc course to full GMC accreditation recognition.

Dr Jones has run general respiratory clinics at Syon Clinic, Circle Health, West London for the past 8 years and now also run clinics at BUPA Cromwell Hospital, London and HCA Chiswick.
