Dr Rachel Imrie

Dr Rachel Imrie is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Specialist in Reproductive Medicine. Serving as a Clinical Lead for donation and surrogacy services, Dr Imrie provides comprehensive care across all aspects of fertility and reproductive health. She prioritises an individualised, patient-centred approach, ensuring that individuals and couples feel fully supported and empowered throughout their reproductive journeys.

Dr Imrie began her academic medical career at Somerville College, University of Oxford, graduating in 2005 with a degree in Physiological Sciences with a focus on genetics and embryological development. She earned her MBBS medical qualification in 2008 from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. Dr Imrie subsequently completed specialist postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology across major teaching institutions, followed by an advanced clinical and research fellowship in assisted reproductive technology. In 2025, she was awarded a Doctorate of Medicine by Research from King's College London for her academic thesis examining socioeconomic factors in assisted conception.

In her clinical practice, Dr Imrie focuses on holistic and evidence-based fertility management. Her clinical interests span advanced reproductive technologies, donor conception, and complex surrogacy pathways. Combined with her active involvement in clinical research and academic publications, Dr Imrie remains dedicated to applying the latest scientific evidence to improve treatment outcomes and deliver compassionate care to every patient.
