Professor Sadaf Ghaem-Maghami is an excellent and professional specialist; patients consistently feel well looked after. She provides clear, detailed explanations for procedures, such as hysterectomy, ensuring patients are informed. Her expertise and diligent approach build patient confidence, and many highlight her listening skills and efficient practice. Her practice is also a frequent choice for colposcopy and smear tests.
Professor Maghami is so kind attentive, I felt very confident in her care. I felt she goes above and beyond to look after you.
very reassuring listened to what I had to say organised immediate tests with quick follow up
She acted professional. She was assertive about what medication would work for my condition and this built a lot of confidence in me.
Highly professional in her explanations and treatments, approachable and accommodating.
Prof. Sadaf is very diligent with her patients and was very kind and approachable. I felt like I was being truly looked after.
I am SO happy that I found Professor Ghaem-Maghami. She turned what seemed to be a very intimidating diagnosis into a quite smooth (under the circumstances!) experience from start to finish. She treated me like an individual, not just another patient on a long list. Everything was explained in a calm and reassuring way. I had to have a radical hysterectomy and I was worried that the surgery would fundamentally change my life, but in fact I'm 3 weeks into recovery and pretty much back to normal! She did everything she could to keep the surgery keyhole as apposed to an abdominal cut, which was an integral part of my quick recovery. I was kept informed throughout by Professor Maghami and her lovely colleague Sue by phone & email - and in person post surgery. All of my concerns and worries were addressed. I spent a lot of time researching who to have my treatment with. Ideally I wanted a woman, who I feel can understand the concerns I had about treatment and recovery in a way that a male practitioner simply couldn't. I had consultation with a surgeon who told me I was being ridiculous for feeling stressed about not being able to continue taking hormone therapy post surgery (It turns out I CAN continue hormone therapy) but Prof Maghami took a more measured approach to this aspect of my treatment, which calmed me down significantly. If you are looking for someone for treatment, please don't hesitate to have a consultation with Prof Maghami.
Prof Maghami is very welcoming and always with a smile, she made me feel at ease during consultation and listens to all my medical concern
I have been seeing Professor Maghami for many years for annual checks and also a fairly large operation and some other procedures. She is always extremely helpful, offering excellent advice, always with her patients best interests at heart. She is also very relaxed and friendly which makes the whole experience much more enjoyable!. Cannot speak highly enough of her help and expertise.
I have always found professor Ghaem-Maghami to be very helpful and kind where I don't feel rushed each time I see her. The professor is easy to talk to, is aware of my concerns, and addresses them reassuringly every time. With regard to my condition, the Professor is exceptionally knowledgeable and is highly skilled in every thing she does.
