About Miss Heather Evans
Miss Heather Evans, Consultant Gynaecologist, currently works within the Royal Free Hospital in London. She also sees patients in a private capacity at the Portland Hospital and a new opening in the City of London. She is highly specialised in the treatment of pre-invasive diseases, gynaecological cancers, and hysterectomies.
Miss Evans began her medical education at the University of Wales where she graduated in 1990. She then progressed on to her specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in North West Thames Rotation in London. She was then awarded a fellowship focusing on the role of the HPV virus and cervical cancer at the Royal Free Hospital.
Miss Evans holds many crucial roles within her Trust including holding a clinic for Colposcopy and out-patient procedures, as well as a clinic for hysteroscopy. She remains Clinical Lead for gynaecological cancer and chairs her Trust's MDT meetings. Most recently, she has become the clinical director of her department, having held this position for the last 18 months.
She also has a vibrant personal life enjoying exercise and playing with her 5-year-old Golden Doodle.
