Dr Anupa Nandi has vast expertise in the field of infertility, working in busy assisted conception units such as Guy's and St Thomas' and Homerton Hospital before joining The Lister Fertility Clinic in 2019.
Dr Nandi completed post-graduate studies in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, earning her Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) from the London Deanery before becoming a consultant. She also gained an MD from Queen Mary University in London after completing research on the management of patients with 'unexplained subfertility'. She has authored a number of publications and given presentations at both national and international conferences.
Dr Nandi has extensive expertise in ultrasound scanning, including 3D scans, saline infusion sonography, HyCoSY, and gynaecological and early pregnancy scans. She is accredited by RCOG and British Fertility Society for gynaecological and early pregnancy scans. She is also RCOG-certified in the management of early pregnancy complications.
She has extensive experience in all aspects of reproductive medicine, including recurrent implantation failure after IVF treatment, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis, endometriosis, reproductive endocrinology, polycystic ovary management, and the management of older women and patients with premature ovarian insufficiency.
She is an advocate for healthy lifestyle to improve fertility. To provide proper support to her patients in this area, she has undertaken Diploma in Lifestyle Medicine from British Society of Lifestyle Medicine and certification in health coaching.

A great experience with Dr Nandi. Felt well taken care of and whilst I couldn't initially go for the treatment I wanted, Dr Nandi talked me through clearly what options I did have and what was most realistic to work towards. Also changed my medication when it wasn't working well, which felt like she really treated me as an individual and cared about our outcomes.

Dr Nandi gave us from the beginning the best advice and guidance. She also explained very well the protocole and everything related to The IVF. She was also always keen to answer any question we had and answered promptly my numerous emails and made me feel always welcome to do so. I’m forever grateful to dr Nandi for the beautiful girl we have thanks to her .

Dr Nandi supported us through two cycles of IVF, which ultimately led to the birth of our baby girl in October 21. Throughout the process, Dr Nandi was clear in her explanations, results focused and extremely empathetic. When our first cycle led to a chemical pregnancy, Dr Nandi made adjustments to our IVF protocol - it felt like she was always ready to learn and alter approaches to find new ways to achieve better outcomes. Our second round of IVF led to six blastocysts - we have five in the freezer still. Dr Nandi also performed our embryo transfer, and clearly explained the pros and cons for putting in one or two embryos so we could make an informed decision.
