Ms Siobhan Laws

Ms Siobhan Laws is a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast surgeon at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital Winchester. She qualified from The Royal Free Hospital, London and received her trained in surgery in Bristol and Wessex, qualifying in 1987. Her professional qualifications include an MBBS (University of London), FRCS (England) and a DM from the University of Southampton.

Whilst Dr Laws manages all aspects of breast disease surgery, she has a special interest in Oncoplastic breast surgery and is extremely experienced in this area. She not only treats patients directly but is also heavily involved in breast cancer research. She is currently Research clinical lead for Hampshire Hospitals NHS trust and has also developed her own research projects into 3D non invasive breast volume measurement, attitudes of men to breast development, symptom profile of Tamoxifen and has co-authored numerous publications on the outcomes of breast cancer surgery.

She has been a clinical tutor to the BM4 medical school program, a hospital representative and tutor for the Royal college of surgeons and is an educational supervisor.

Siobhan is actively engaged in education and has taught on national courses and represents local surgeons on the Professional Standards committee of the Association of Breast Surgeons. She has also been the clinical tutor on the BM4 program for 12 years.
