The Day Clinic

The Day Clinic is an expert-led private medical centre located in Shelford Bottom, Cambridge. It offers rapid access to diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of common health conditions within a modern outpatient setting. Founded by Consultant Plastic Surgeon Mr Ahid Abood, the clinic brings together specialists across dermatology, plastic surgery, hand surgery, urology and general practice.

The purpose-built facility includes contemporary consulting rooms and two fully equipped operating theatres where minor surgical and day-case procedures are carried out. Services cover comprehensive dermatological care, including assessments, cryotherapy, electrosurgery, curettage, shave excision, punch biopsy and Mohs surgery, alongside plastic surgery procedures such as blepharoplasty, earlobe repair, inverted nipple surgery and reconstruction following skin cancer. The clinic also provides hand surgery for conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren’s contracture and trigger finger, as well as urological services including flexible cystoscopy, vasectomy, circumcision, PSA testing and urine investigations. A private GP service is additionally available for general medical concerns.
