About Mr Siva Kumar Veeramani
Mr Siva Kumar is a leading consultant, plastic and reconstructive surgeon based across clinics in South London, Surrey, Sussex and Kent. Mr Kumar has a wide practice covering breast surgery (enlargement, reduction, lift), facial rejuvenation (blepharoplasty, face/neck lift, nose/ear reshaping) and body contouring (liposuction, tummy tuck, arm lift, thigh lift), as well as non-surgical procedures such as lasers and regenerative procedures such as fat grafting.
He uses contemporary devices to help achieve the best results such as laser assisted blepharoplasty (eyelid hooding removal), water assisted liposuction, breast enlargement with fat grafting, skin tightening of face and body with CO2 laser and RF/Facetite/Bodytite.
He has a specialist interest in melanoma, skin cancers, sentinel node biopsy and enjoys the reconstructive aspects of the surgery. He has extensive experience in dealing with Basal Cell Carcinoma, Squamous Cell Carcinoma, post-mohs reconstruction, and, benign skin lesions (e.g. lipomas and cysts). He is the MDT Lead for Skin Cancer for Kent and the Local Sussex area.
After originally graduating from the University of Newcastle, Mr Kumar undertook surgical training throughout leading centres in the UK, including three highly competitive fellowships in trauma, skin cancer, and cosmetic surgery. He was initially appointed as a Consultant specializing in Breast Reconstruction in Newcastle Upon Tyne in 2015. He was subsequently appointed as a Consultant specializing in melanoma and other skin cancers at the world renowned Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead in 2016 where he still maintains his NHS practise.
