Dr Mariam Lokman

Dr Mariam Lokman is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who subspecialises in reproductive medicine and surgery. Dedicated to providing compassionate and patient-centred care, Dr Lokman supports individuals and couples through all stages of their reproductive health journey. Her clinical practice combines rigorous evidence-based medicine with an empathetic, supportive approach, ensuring that every patient receives personalised care tailored to their clinical needs and personal preferences.

Dr Lokman earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree from the University of Manchester and subsequently completed a Doctor of Medicine (MD) research degree at Warwick Medical School. She is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) and has undertaken accredited subspeciality training in reproductive medicine and surgery. In addition to her clinical commitments, Dr Lokman actively participates in national fertility research trials aimed at enhancing reproductive outcomes and advancing minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Her clinical expertise encompasses a comprehensive range of reproductive health services, with key focus areas in fertility assessment, assisted conception, and the investigation of recurrent miscarriage. Dr Lokman is highly experienced in keyhole surgical interventions, including operative hysteroscopy and advanced laparoscopy for conditions such as uterine fibroids, endometrial polyps, Asherman syndrome, and endometriosis, while also offering dedicated expertise in emergency gynaecology.
