About Dr John Janssen
Dr Janssen, Consultant Neurologist has been based at Chelsea and Westminster, Royal Brompton, and Charing Cross Hospitals since 2005. He is a highly experienced neurologist with a wealth of knowledge in headaches, migraine, stroke, memory issues, and a range of other neurological conditions.
As well as being a consultant, he has also served as Clinical Lead for the TIA and Neurology service at Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals. In 2015, he was designated service director at Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals for neurology and stroke. Additionally, he provides expert advice for the acute neurology service in Brompton Hospital and is an active contributor to the Charing Cross stroke service (the leading service for hyperacute strokes in the UK). He also works within private practice, providing services at HCA's Lister Hospital Chelsea Outpatient Centre and Chiswick Medical Centre.
He is a GMC accredited trainer and a keen mentor and teacher of trainee doctors and colleagues. He is also a co-chair for the HCA joint neurology and neuro-rehabilitation council.
