Dr Ajith Prasad

Dr Ajith Prasad is a Consultant Paediatrician with more than 20 years experience in dealing with various paediatric problems. He currently holds a Consultant position at Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust and specialises in Paediatric Allergy. He also sees private patients at Spire Gatwick Park Hospital, Spire St Anthony's Hospital and Stratum Clinics Wimbledon & Raynes Park.

He has several years of expertise managing a wide range of medical conditions in children. He also deals with the diagnosis and management of various allergic conditions in children, including food allergy, hay fever, eczema and chronic urticaria.

Dr Prasad attained his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Kerala, India in 1997. After qualifying, he completed a 3-year postgraduate training in Paediatrics and Child Health in India, during which he gained his DCH and MD qualifications, also at the University of Kerala. He later moved to the UK and completed his higher specialist training in Paediatrics and was awarded his Membership with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. He also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Allergy at the University of Southampton in 2020, subsequently becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. Dr Prasad also holds professional memberships with the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
