Mr Michael Jenkins

Mr Michael Jenkins is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon based at Imperial College and St Marys NHS Hospitals. He also runs private clinics at clinics are at The Lindo Wing, St Mary’s Hospital and King Edward VII Hospital.

His practice involves all aspects of elective and emergency vascular surgery and he has a specialist interest in tertiary referrals for complex aortic disease. He also has expertise in the endovascular repair of aneurysms, endovenous (varicose vein) surgery, carotid surgery (strokes), arterial bypass surgery and thoracoscopic sympathectomy.

Mr Jenkins graduated in 1989 from the Middlesex University School of Medicine as the 1st Broderip Scholar. He went on to complete further surgical training in London and was awarded the Gold Medal at FRCS. He was appointed as a Consultant to St Mary's and Chelsea & Westminster hospitals in 2001.

He examines for both FRCS (Vasc) in the UK and FEBVS in Europe. He is a past President of the British Society of Endovascular Therapy and the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland. He is currently Clinical Director of AAA Screening in London and Frank Penman Professor of Surgery.
